i think the problem with the under-hydraulic bridge was not that it needed more support but that the hydraulic pulled too far and slammed the bridge into the cliffside

Polybridge should add a concrete support, probably being another option of a road - Costing the same (and even counting down when a road is placed or vice versa) and just being a much nicer looking road support.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the cost and weight in this game is irrespective of number of joints. In that case, on the last one, the three road pieces across the pirate ship could've been turned into four road pieces. That would enable having the joints closer to the pirate ship, and a smaller road segment being moved.
I just have to say tyler's the shave king of poly bridge, shown when he had the cost cut bridge off in the last poly bridge video, if he does a first good design he can pretty much cost cut it into first place
Around 7:00, I think that bridge would still hold if you got rid of the wood triangle at the peak of each arch. The roads in the "A" shape will stay upright if they don't buckle, and that's all you need.
For the first level in the video, try creating something like a half loop to try to get the monster truck directly to its flag, that is if A.1 isn’t needed
I really like the half budget challenge for this game, it’s interesting watching Tyler work through levels and working around the limited resources. But after he has a bridge that works at half budget, watching him shave for leaderboard placement has me falling asleep lmfao.
what is the difference between this and poly bridge 2? seems like the quality of life features could very well just have been added to the second game in a update
This is at the start of release, so there's actually still fair competition. He's very skilled regardless, but it isn't comparable to the insanely optimized scores on Poly bridge 2 for example.
I'd love to watch a least stress leader board playthrough, I always hated how budget saving mode punishes robust bridge design. Kind of makes most levels so far feel kind of same-y as well.
