Thanks so much for making this short and sweet. I searched for this air fryer and pretty much all the reviews are over 15 minutes long. I chose yours because it was short and I will be looking at what you have on your channel from now on before I waste my time on anyone else's. All the best to you and your adorable baby!
Thank you for your feedback! We are thrilled to hear that you are getting one of our air fryers, and we hope that you make a lot of great meals with it.
I just got mine two days ago and I am experimenting with it. You need to get your temps and times down in order to get them to finish together. So far I overcooked the first day (marinated chicken breasts) and the broccoli was a bit too browned for my husband, tho I liked it. Yesterday’s brussels sprouts were undercooked and I finished those in the microwave but the fish strips were perfect. Every new appliance has a learning curve. And yesterday I gave my beloved little Dash air fryer to my good friend. She is delighted! It worked great, but it just wasn’t big enough for two people or doing two different things without tripping a breaker. I loved the simplicity of the Dash, but I’m looking forward to the versatility of the Ninja being being able to do two different things! No regrets!
Hello Trish. We want to thank you for your feedback regarding the Ninja Foodi 2-Basket Air Fryer. If you have any questions or concerns, please let us know. We are always happy to help.
@@NinjaKitchenUS Well, as a sweeping generalization of cooking appliances I have bought in the past, three of which are Ninja Foodi (yes, I have three of those behemoths in my small kitchen : The grill, the flip-up pizza oven, and now the double basket), the recommended times and temps tend to overcook the food. And that’s not just Ninja products. I think the developers err on the side of overcooking to make sure that food isn’t undercooked and unsafe to eat. But that’s just a sweeping observation. I overcooked the chicken and broccoli, and I even set them both for less time than the recommended. But that’s part of the trial and error in learning what works for me. But they are all cool products and I love all of them. I do wish that you had designed the grill in such a way that all of the parts could be stored inside it when not in use. I have to find a place for the grill plate and I have limited places in my kitchen where I can stash something.. Thanks.
Hello Trish, thank you for reaching back out to us. We are always working to improve our units, and we truly appreciate your feedback on the Grill and Air fryer. We will forward your feedback along to our development team for you so it can be reviewed when we make adjustments to our products. We'll make sure to use your suggestion to consider this change in the future.
I had to go online to get the ingredients for the marinade, I couldn’t find it listed here but it turned out amazing, very moist. Nice cartelized finish on the outside.
I just bought the slightly larger version of this fryer. I chose the Ninja because I already have a Ninja Blender and a Ninja Juicer and they are excellent quality for their price. I’m excited to have some fish and chips tonight!
Love the 2 basket air fryer so far. Although I can't figure out for the life of me the phrase on the box (twice), 5 "programmable" cooking functions and in another place "customizable." They don't seem customizable. Every time I change them, they just go back. I tried holding the function button down and it still didn't set. Don't know what I'm doing wrong in order to customize them.
SAME MY MOM BOUGHT THIS ONE 2 months ago and I never used it bc I didn’t know how so I finally look it up to use it right now and thank god this video came in clutch!!
Works well but I find it's pretty confusing to adjust your times and temps when using two zones, especially of different foods. As well as selecting the correct mode.
Love the video! I'm interested in purchasing this model, but a question before I do. We eat a lot of chicken breast in our household, how many pieces (I know it's dependent on the size of the breasts) can you put in one basket. We are family of 4, so usually prepare anywhere from 7 - 8 pieces leaving plenty for leftovers for salad, etc. Thanks!
Hi justneeding. We use fresh (not frozen) standard sized breasts from our local supermarket. They're a little bigger than a fist (think big baked potato). We easily lay 2 side-by-side in one of the baskets. There's enough height in the basket to use (sold separately) dividers to go another layer. Haven't bought or used those, though.
Thanks for this. The instruction book doesn't mention it. If you start each zone individually, the button won't work. Hah, I thought I had a broken machine 😅
Thank you for asking. You can find some suggestions for what you can make in the 2 basket air fryer by going to www.ninjakitchen.com/recipes/?q=&sort=Newest&tags=&page=1.
I have the two basket fryer and have been using both. But! Is it possible to cook in only one basket? I was cooking chicken, but I only had enough pieces for one basket. I finally had to put two pieces in one basket, and one piece in the other. Thanks
Can you also cook rice in this specific ninja? I’m interested in cooking rice in one basket and cooking chicken in the second one. If you’re able to cook rice and chicken, what cook option would work best for each of those foods ( broil, bake, air fry)?
The Air Fry function is used to give your food crispiness and crunch with little to no oil. The Roast function turns the unit into a roaster oven for tender meats and more.
Thank you for sharing with us, Alfredo. We are thrilled to hear that you got the Ninja Foodi. Thank you for sharing with us, and we hope that you can continue to get great use from it.

Hi Ninja I'm new to air fryers and just ordered this one. It is advisable to buy an oil mister as well? To spray the bins with oil before putting my food in? Thank you
I just got my Ninja two days ago, but I had a Dash for three years. Things that I wanted to have a little oil on like broccoli or brussels sprouts, I just sprayed them before I put them in. I think it’s your choice of spraying the bottom before you put meat in or something that might stick. I’ve done it both ways and I don’t really see a difference.
@@TrishBenedict Thanks for the reply. Yea I tried both methods and use both depending on whether it's meat, vegetables, even pizza etc! I can definitely say I love this air fryer so much.
