I love portuguese entries so much and am often disappointed that they are often underrated. Dulce Pontes was my winner! The french song and the interpretation of Amina Annabi were fabulous too

Como neto de portugueses eu amo alguns cantores da ' Terrinha " , De Dulce Pontes eu tenho vários CDs e até hoje aos 73 anos ainda fico arrepiado quando oiço essa jovem senhora cantando!
I loved this so much, when my parents went on holiday to Portugal later that year, I got them to bring me back her CD album with this song on it and I became a fan. Such a passionate singer!
I will never understand why Portugal didn´t invite her to open semi final when eurovision was in Portugal in 2018...nonsense she is amazing!
@br3menPT Political reasons mostly, Dulce burned her image with the portuguese media by often being late, stoned, or plainly disrespecting people she was meant to work with/for, fame got to her and she ended up ruining her career at a national level, hence why she does way more concerts abroad than she does nationally and why she isn't promoted like the heiress of Amalia's throne in popular culture.
Love this song! Portugal has given us some great songs in Eurovision!

I still remember dropping the bomb on my family (as a child) that I actually loved this song!
The melody on the verses is especially beautiful, and she is such an emotionally committed singer.

This song and performance was my winner by far. A WONDERFUL song sung WONDERFULLY.... my winner hands down, it was a steal! like the one Portugal in 1976.
It's "only" my 4th in 1991 but this performance was monumental, also I am IN LOVE with those two moments where her voice breaks and becomes a bit rough, it gives the song even more power and soul T-T
