The rules at the time stated that in case of a tie, the one who had gotten most 12 points would win; they had the same. So they went on to who had received the most 10 points, and that was Sweden. Today, however, the rules state that in a tie, the country that has received points from the biggest amount of countries wins, and that is what France did.

Timeless masterpiece. This made even the mediocre Rome '91 feel like the Scala for 3 minutes. One of my fondest Eurovision favorites and it most certainly should've won.

I was for Carola that year, and in 2006, too. But, I was disappointed when France didn`t take the win in 2021 and in 2024

@@milanj.k.6936 That could definitely a way to pronouce a winner in a case like this. In 1968 there were 4 countries with the samme winning score. Don't know who was pronouced winner ,nor do I know wich criterias has been used.
