I really love your videos, and I needed a favor. I need you to prove a bunch of things for me. I need you to prove the commutative property of addition for all real numbers, the multiplication of fractions, the addition of fractions, the commutative property of multiplication for all real numbers, and the distributive property for all real numbers including irrational numbers please. What I love about math is that it is always consistent and that properties are not made from thin air, and if you prove all these properties for me I will feel much better about that fact. Yh but this was quicker cz the matrix A is really close to the identity , try it with a matrix with no 0 entries and you will see it takes the same amount of time to row reduce it till the identity
At 2:03, Why have ve just multiplied the diagonal members to find out determinant. I thought it was only qpplicable when all the elements of matrix but diagonal elements are zero. But here a34 is not zero.?

It applies when the matrix is diagonal. All elements below the diagonal are zero, so it can be done.
