@@gibilator What's the difference between them? Is the benefit that the optical is a lighter/thinner cable but lower peak bandwidth (and thus refresh rate)?

Also, does the fiber optic one you received come with only 1 USB cable instead of the 2, which means lower power to charge the battery and make it last as long in a single use? Also, if optical is worth it, maybe I can just source separate cables?
Congrats. Good to see the new foam protector packing on the head strap has stopped it breaking in transit. Mine (complete with glass lenses) shipped from China two days ago via FedEx, it's due to arrive next week down here in Tassie. Can't wait.
This is honestly the best headset money can buy and should be priced appropriately. The beauty here is how rapidly we have arrived here which signifies the tech should trickle down to more affordable headsets very quickly. Plus there's always the second hand market. Hope this finds you well.
The copper cable has 2 USBs and 1DP port. I dont believe I will be getting the optical cable unless they can sort out the battery usage with that system. I am more then happy doing ~3.5hrs of sim racing and dropping only 20% battery at the moment!
I purchased through Player1 Sim Gear here in Australia. And as a reseller in Australia all duties and taxes must be covered. I did pay over and above what ordering through pimax would have covered but have the luxury of local warranty.
Hey Richard, this is a closed beta firmware which I regret actually showing. It is a sore point for some that it hasn't been released. I can confirm it does have a few slight things to work out before they release but the performance and functions are going to be amazing! Thanks for your understanding.

100% my thoughts exactly. A bit sad they decided to stop shipping the optical cable (the day they shipped mine!) this is the DP cable that I have.

@@DrR1pper Fiber Optic cable still works with 120Hz. Mine does on my crystal.

Very similar temperature I've found so far. Not an issue with me as I use a wind sim system.
