I bawled season 5 and 6 finale , I couldn’t handle it , I shipped them so hard from the very first season, even tho I loved Stefan as a person too. Damon and Elena are perfect for eachother in my opinion, Elena always made Damon a better person, but also Damon made her feel the most alive, they made me so happy, and I will never get over this show 😭😭😭😭😭

Elena never really loved Stefan, Damon just told her what she wanted and then when she was with Damon they tried to tell her she was not in love with Him because of the sire bond but that means nothing
But I think in the book she still chose Stefan as her eternal partner

The sad thing is because they were in this they can't feel what we do as fans watching it. I wish I'd given this site a Chance when it came out. It really is very good. Glad i have it a chance now in 2023❣️i bet it would be even more impossible for them to watch it all the way through because they dated and broke up. I know he's married and i hope really happy. Baby number 2 on the way. I hope she and the rest of the cast are happy. The writing, and most of this show was very Good. I hope they keep grounded and get more great jobs and do wonderful things in life❤

It's an irony that in darkness you struggle with your own humanity cause you often find yourself lost in it, and where there's light you completely ignore it.. Watched the whole series and wish they continue however it's intense perhaps that's the reason they stopped, or lack imagination and writer's block.. ??
