The way he’s so involved you can see the love he has for you through the screen it makes me so happy for you 😭🥰 oh boy I cross my fingers maybe one day …
He’s actually not really been involved at all. They said on WT9 that Jeremy has no interest in planning the wedding and is basically just going with Lauren’s decisions. Equally as cute tho
I coordinated a wedding with no bridal party. It was amazing. They missed out on nothing and it was more welcoming for all the friends to just pick what parts of wedding events they could attend without pressure
I love how he just holds you when he senses like you slightly spiraling. I’m not done with the vlog, but like I’m dying from cuteness and happiness for you both. I could cry. I may cry.
lauren saying its crazy how fast time is passing, lauren ive been watching you for close to 10 years. yes it is crazy how fast time flies. watching you throughout the years and now you are getting married...gosh im so happy for you and jeremy. so much respect and love to you both
No Bridal Party is a FANTASTIC IDEA. If there was one thing I could redo that would have been the number 1 thing I would have changed. It was stressful brigning people together. I love that your going to do that. Also, your friends/family can wear whatever they want to your wedding.
100000% reccomend a chill honeymoon after! We had friends who went to Europe and they said they regretted it because they were so tired from the adrenaline of the wedding that they just wanted to relax. My husband and I went to Fiji and it was the best vacation I’ve ever been on. One of the best memories of my entire life
Having worked at a wedding venue that did more weddings last year than days in the year (catching up from Covid still, most weeks we did two weddings a day Thursday to Sunday so 8 a week) I have learned so many things that I would never let happen at my own wedding one day but I know there’s going to be issues. But I know if I pick a good venue, vendors I trust and have experience with ( I have more than most people lol) read reviews and stay organized then problems can be solved in the moment both by venue staff and a day of contact who you assign to make decisions on your behalf that you know will make the right call that you would make yourself. The last thing you want is to be asked a million questions and feel like you’re repeating yourself.
I had my wedding in 2022 -Did a first look before the ceremony, LOVED IT! Beautiful intimate moment and actually made the ceremony more relaxed and fun. Also just makes sense when looking at the timeline -Took 20 mins to eat dinner alone together, absolutely a highlight of the day -No bridal party, great way to simplify what is already a crazy day. Still had a bachelorette party and friends had no issues at all with this decision Have a great day!
We did our first look before the wedding and afterwards we went ahead and did alot of the pics with the wedding party. I was so glad bcuz that freed up so much time we could spend with our guest and soak up the night. The entire day can be a blur so don't blink!!! Congratulations I'm so excited for you❤
laur!! i’m sure you’ve already thought of all this but make sure your gut is completely used to alcohol and heavy foods again after 75 hard before your wedding! loved this vlog btw and so so happy for you!!
So random but thank you for actually appreciating colour for your table decor! I know each to their own but the amount of all white or white and silver only table decor sometimes makes me a bit sad, so I love that you’re embracing the colour !!
I love how different everyone’s style is bc I am that clean white simple boring colorless wedding kinda gal. But i love seeing how happy an abundance of color makes Lauren and others!
Been watching you for years and you’ve always been such a colourful person, and being someone that loves colour myself, I’m so happy that your staying true to yourself! All the best to u always, we are here w u every step of the way❤️
Honeymoon Rec! Wedding planning is a lot, decision fatigue is real. I would personally recommend something easy and relaxing. We did Hawaii because we know what we are getting ourselves into, it’s warm, relaxing, and don’t need to do much planning. My husband and I basically spent time sleeping, eating, and laying out. It was exactly what we needed. Post wedding brain hangover is real.
girl, having no bridal party was the best decision i made for our wedding. 10/10 recommend lol also had both of my parents walk me down the aisle and it was so so so special. i also did a slow dance with both my mom and my dad, so they each got their own song to dance with me to, and i LOVE the photos from both and will treasure them forever!
We did a mini-moon chill weekend afterward and then planned for a European trip two years after. It was so fun having something else to plan after wedding planning ends, plus a way to celebrate anniversary. Also, my favorite thing was having a special dinner one month post married because post wedding blues are real.
I went to St Martin (French side) in the Caribbean for our honeymoon, it's seriously so beautiful with tons to do! The people there are really what make the trip!
I had my honeymoon in Cancun at a gorgeous resort. It was so nice to relax and do nothing after the stress and chaos of wedding planning! I highly recommend a relaxing honeymoon. You have the rest of your lives together to travel anywhere. Take some time to recharge after such a large event. Love all the wedding content! The colors are so fun!
I got married last November and we went to St Lucia for our honeymoon😍 I CANNOT recommend it enough (we stayed at Anse Chastenet resort- literally THE most insane place I’ve ever been) It’s the perfect mix between laying on a beach and relaxing with a drink and adventures in the jungle/ ocean😍😍😍
by writing own vows - some people choose to use the basic provided ones rather than make up their own (not usually hire someone to write them!) im so excited for you two!
Don’t have wedding planners put too much in your head with colors or ideas. If you like the white choose white! This is something I wish i did more of planning mine 😂
I did the SAME EXACT THING for my rentals appointment! I had it in my calendar for a few hours after and I had to jump out of bed so fast and SPED there
We were stationed in Hawaii when we got married which is a huge honeymoon destination so we decided to spend a couple nights in a cabin in the mountains after our wedding in NC to have time away from the beach and relax just the two of us. Once we got back to Hawaii after our wedding, we took a bunch long weekend trips to island hop across Hawaii and do big activities (helicopter tours, manta ray night snorkels, whale watching, etc.) through the following year! It was much better than one big trip having everything split up and not spend as much money at once! We were just so lucky to be living there to make it possible!
we did the Maldives and Kenya for our honeymoon and it was peak perfection. we have 5 days of beach with butler service in the Maldives and then got the active adventure (including hot air ballooning) in Kenya. the pictures we got are so surreal and I cannot recommend both places (or combining beach + adventure) enough.
Love that you are in such good place in your life right now and just appear to be enjoying life. I hope you and and Jeremy have a magical wedding day ❤
My husband and I came home after our wedding and it was so so special!! We LOVED it. We even waited to leave for our honeymoon until Monday night (we got married on Saturday) because we wanted to rest. Also for honeymoon tips, everyone told us not to plan a jam packed trip and they were right. You will be exhausted after your wedding. You can still have a fun and memorable honeymoon but definitely leave breathing room in your itinerary. We had one specific thing planned to do each day and it was the perfect amount of exploring and doing stuff vs relaxing and resting.
My husband and I took a delayed honeymoon since he’s a teacher. We got married in September and spent two weeks backpacking through Europe in July during his summer off time. It was the best decision for us personally because we weren’t having to stress about going out of the country for two weeks directly after our wedding. We got to enjoy life for a while and our first holidays married before we went.
My husband and I went to breakfast together just us before the day really started & it was so special and a slow way to start one of the busiest days ever!
It rained the morning of our wedding as we were driving to the venue, but by the time we were ready and taking pictures, it was a perfectly clear day and the ground wasn’t wet, it really was good luck!
All inclusive Punta Cana honeymoon, trust me do it. The resort we went to for my in laws wedding, the wedding was free with their trip, we were at the highest tear executive club level our room and everything was a little less than $1,500 for a week long trip. That’s all drinks (alcohol and not), food, mini bar and alcohol in room, entertainment at the resort, beach pools and hot tubs, one of the massage types at the spa etc etc. the only extra you have to pay for is other fancy things you want. Special dinner on the beach, excursions off the resort. The only time we left was to go on a party boat the groom paid for our group of 13 to go to but literaly my bf and I could have and did stay on the resort property the entire time other than that and it was amazing. Best friend went to another resort nearby for her honeymoon and they did excursions and loved it so those are always add on options. Literaly the most expensive part was the flights and it was post Covid so that didn’t help. But like that was such a worth it trip
I’ve been super overwhelmed with wedding planning but watching your Q&A had me smiling like crazy! What an exciting time!!! I can’t wait to see all your plans come together😭🫶🏼
It’s so funny the wedding content made me ridiculously nostalgic cos I realized how much we’ve all grown up since early LaurDIY days! Like I still make the freakin mug brownie that was in one of the OLD Canada videos and now I’m an “adult” married woman watching Lauren get married like HOLY SHIT how time flies 🥹
I’m a wedding planner in Switzerland, and I’m getting married this year also. I’m the one who asked about the wedding trends because I am putting so mush pressure on myself because of that 😅😭. Thank you so much for answering my question ! Love your videos and it has been a pleasure to follow along your planning ✨
hope you are able to enjoy the planning process of the wedding!! It can get stressful and overwhelming but it’s so fun at the same time, make sure you are able to take a step back and breathe during the planning process!!
I’m so excited to see how everything comes together, and so excited for you!!! As someone who is also engaged but hasn’t started planning, if you’d be comfortable with it, I’d love a cost breakdown afterwards ☺️
Oh lauren I can’t stop crying and squeaking for you!!! I love the fact you want to enjoy the food and drink, healthy for someone (as a UK listener) who knows LA can be pretty toxic. I’m so excited for you!!!!!!
I got married at the end of 2022 & let me tell you the wedding blues are real after it's over! I was never even someone who dreamed of a wedding or getting married and had a small wedding, but still afterwards I had the blues. All that planning and then it's just over lol.
My fiancé and I aren’t having a bridal party! We are still having a bachelor & bachelorette party with our friends and family but honestly the no wedding party is so chill! I know a few other people who did it and loved it as well! 💗
I got married this past summer and we just decided to go to the beach for our honeymoon because we ultimately decided we wanted to relax after being so stressed for weeks about the wedding. If we went somewhere else we knew we would want to go explore a ton but the beach let us chill and take so many naps
We did our honeymoon in Aruba and spent the majority of it laying by the pool or the beach! We did a few activities, but we were so exhausted that we just wanted to rest and spend time together and I 100% recommend!
I think you should let Jeremy see you for the first time coming down the aisle and since you had that special moment, instead of walking back down together, you can dismiss each row together getting every family member one at a time. I’ve seen this done before. It was nice to be able to immediately say congratulations, you look beautiful etc. gets small talk out of the way and leaves time for bigger moments after the ceremony. Something to consider!
My husband and I spent two nights in Krakow, Poland, two nights in Geneva, Switzerland and two nights in The Netherlands for our honeymoon... They were all amazing!
The way this is the most invested I’ve ever been in a wedding because I genuinely love the pod so much and have watched Lauren since I was like 12 and I’m 21 now. Like actually the other day I was talking about the wedding to my friend who’s getting married soon and was genuinely gonna be so sad if there wasn’t a wedding video released after when I’ve never ever watched one of those for anyone else lol
Sooo excited for all the wedding content 🤍💍 I got married last year and getting to see you live your best bride era is just everything 🥺🥰 also loving the heart sweater 💕
Me and my husband waiting 6 months after the wedding to go on our “honeymoon” 1: because we wanted to save up for a more enjoyable trip for our honeymoon because wedding be expensive. 2: we both had our social battery drained after our wedding that the last thing we wanted to do was go on a plane. I also suggest a fun trip to Europe you can go to multiple places in one trip and the food is absolutely fantastic. Im excited to see what you choose no matter what 💕
I just got married in December and we did not have a bridal party and I would not have wanted it any other way. I wanted everyone to enjoy themselves and feel no responsibility for our wedding. So happy for you!💗🥂
So exciting to see things coming together! I think the vows question was more referring to writing your own vs. using traditional ones. Not hiring someone to write them for you😆
I love being in my bridal era with some of my favorite content creators. I really appreciate you sharing your experiences thus far. My fiancé and I decided no wedding party, at first I was hesitant. I started to weigh out the pros and cons and honestly there were more cons. Thank you for talking about why your not having a wedding party either. And as I see with a handful of other brides in the comments, it’s more “normal “ than I thought. Also where is your heart sweatshirt from bc I need it immediately.
As someone who was a bridesmaid in 4 weddings in less than 5 years - it is a LOT even though it’s an honor to be there. I think you can still do all the fun parts without the stressful parts if you don’t make it “official.” I would be in the same boat as you. Maybe one maid of honor and best man, but then everything else would be super casual.
Being beach bums for your honeymoon is genuinely the way to go. Relax after all the wedding planning and activities. You’ll thank yourself! Best thing we did
Ahh love that moose and diggy will be there! You will love not having the bridal party (as a bridal stylist) I have seen sooo many brides never regret that decision! I also love that you want alll the color! I went to a wedding recently where the dress code was “upstage the bride” and it was like a fashion show to say the least! So fun! Can’t wait for you two to get married!
For my honeymoon we went to big Bear last year. I’ve been with him for 12 years but we finally did it lol. We’re very busy with kids so enjoy yourself.
I absolutely would not have been able to get married without my bridal party. Honestly, my husband and I’s friends are so close to us that we loved having a bridal party but it’s to each their own! ❤❤
The way he’s so involved you can see the love he has for you through the screen it makes me so happy for you 😭🥰 oh boy I cross my fingers maybe one day …
He literally was on his phone the whole time 😭
Yeah when he was behind her and hugged her ❤ so sweet
He’s actually not really been involved at all. They said on WT9 that Jeremy has no interest in planning the wedding and is basically just going with Lauren’s decisions. Equally as cute tho
@@agladwish3821 sure lol

I’m so happy that Moose and Diggy will be part of the wedding and it’s so sweet they’ll have babysitters 🐶💖

The colours for your wedding are the most laurdiy vibes ever and I’m living for it! I’m glad you stuck true to what you love and your style!

The aesthetic of your wedding arrangements gives Spring Court🙈

Same, girl! Same!!!!💖
Would love a video of tips after the wedding! Like what worked/didn’t
Having worked at a wedding venue that did more weddings last year than days in the year (catching up from Covid still, most weeks we did two weddings a day Thursday to Sunday so 8 a week) I have learned so many things that I would never let happen at my own wedding one day but I know there’s going to be issues. yes that’s 100% where our heads are at too!
I love that you love colors! The flowers and table scape are so cute already. Can’t wait to see it all finished on your wedding!!! ❤❤❤
Jeremy hugging her ugh you guys are so cute 🥺
laur!! i’m sure you’ve already thought of all this but make sure your gut is completely used to alcohol and heavy foods again after 75 hard before your wedding! loved this vlog btw and so so happy for you!!
Broccoli bloat so relatable. If there’s an apocalypse I’m not even trying. I’d get taken out by consuming a raw bell pepper
HAHAHAHAHAH SO REAL

Can we get a video of Jeremy’s reaction to seeing the everything at the wedding for the first time? 😂❤ PLEASE!!
Ahh !! I need more deets on St Lucia🥹 that’s my #1 contender for honeymoon!! What number do you think I should be looking at for grand total?
Honestly, I love that y’all are doing a funfetti cake!! It’s so fun, and you already know it’s gonna be good, cause it’s funfetti!!!

I love how much color you have incorporated into your wedding! I think we forget that colors are beautiful and can be aesthetic too! 💕
Girl, your sweaters with the hearts🤩🤩🤩
I am a violent outfit repeater I’m obsessed with it HAHAHA
I'm obsessed with it! Where's it from????
A 46 MINUTE VLOGGGG, ANDD WEDDING CONTENT!!!
Lauren and Jeremy are relationship goals lol you can tell during their podcasts and the vlogs just how well they suit each other ❤

Not having a bridal party either! The amount of ease I feel is unmatched. Wooo!! 💖✨
we did the Maldives and Kenya for our honeymoon and it was peak perfection. we have 5 days of beach with butler service in the Maldives and then got the active adventure (including hot air ballooning) in Kenya. the pictures we got are so surreal and I cannot recommend both places (or combining beach + adventure) enough.
I love your hair when it’s straight! It looks so healthy and long❤16:38
this was the content i was WAITING FOR! Please please please make/show more wedding content ahhhhhh

I'm so happy for this wedding planning series!❤
One of my friends is doing a first look down the aisle! That way Jeremy can get that first look aisle experience

The guests at your wedding are so blessed to experience wedding LaurDIY. ❤
Special dinner on the beach, excursions off the resort. hope you are able to enjoy the planning process of the wedding!! It can get stressful and overwhelming but it’s so fun at the same time, make sure you are able to take a step back and breathe during the planning process!!
Long Laurdiy vlog is the best way to spend a morning ❤
I’m so excited to see how everything comes together, and so excited for you!!! As someone who is also engaged but hasn’t started planning, if you’d be comfortable with it, I’d love a cost breakdown afterwards ☺️
Oh lauren I can’t stop crying and squeaking for you!!! I love the fact you want to enjoy the food and drink, healthy for someone (as a UK listener) who knows LA can be pretty toxic. I’m so excited for you!!!!!!

LOVE LOVE LOVE IT ALL!! Thank you for answering my flower question 🌸 I love those too!

Your wedding vibes is reminding me of mia maples wedding a few years back!
recommend Puerto Rico for the honeymoon🩷so much touristy things to do/see but you can also lay on a beach all day if you wanted to!
Love the wedding’s aesthetic!! It is so you🩷
Lauren you look soo pretty with that heart sweater! It’s adorable
EEK YES!! im so excited to watch this lauren!!!!👏🏽💗
That Bach shirt is so cute! And I love that you had in mind that it could be worn again like a cute graphic tee! ❤
Can't wait to see how well the wedding planning develops as the date approaches!

This most awaited wedding content❤❤
Funfetti is such a Lauren cake!😭Wouldn’t see you picking anything else!🫶🏼
100% HAHAH
As someone who was a bridesmaid in 4 weddings in less than 5 years - it is a LOT even though it’s an honor to be there. I think you can still do all the fun parts without the stressful parts if you don’t make it “official.” I would be in the same boat as you. Maybe one maid of honor and best man, but then everything else would be super casual.
I love hair updates! Always turns out amazing it all looks so good on you! So excited for you! I cant believe youre getting married 🎉
Being beach bums for your honeymoon is genuinely the way to go. Relax after all the wedding planning and activities. You’ll thank yourself! Best thing we did
We did Funfetti for the wedding cake and loved it !! Everyone raved about it too
Love the hair, with or without extensions..GORGEOUS ❤
I can't wait for more wedding content BTW Jeremy is the sweetest. You're so lucky to have him, Lauren
I want to also mention that it snowed the morning we woke up. It was so beautiful and magical.
I absolutely would not have been able to get married without my bridal party. Honestly, my husband and I’s friends are so close to us that we loved having a bridal party but it’s to each their own! ❤❤
My hubby and I went on a cruise to the Bahamas for our honeymoon. It was fun getting to meet other newlyweds and the weather was perfect.
Moose staring into the distance at 12:18 is me 24/7
