Sewing kit is so key! I've had to sew up busted bustles, or help re-attach a back button.
A mini sewing kit is ALWAYS in my bag for a wedding because there is always some crazy wardrobe catastrophe in the girls bathroom and weirdly enough super glue too!!

My husband and I came home after our wedding and it was the BEST idea. Being able to sleep in our own bed after a long, wonderful day and just chilling at home the next morning was what we both needed.

We did the same! We didn’t even leave for our honeymoon until Monday night. Our wedding was on Saturday. And it was SO NICE. You will be exhausted after the wedding.

Yes you must! They are truly so perfect😍After the wedding you could put them somewhere special in the house where you and Jeremy can always walk by and see them but also somewhere safe since they are so fragile☺️🐾
LASH GLUE! That stuff saved my ASSS at my wedding. It holds jewelry in place like nothing else - doesn’t damage anything and nobody can see it and all of my jewelry was ON POINT in all of the photos thanks to that. So if you have particularly dangly necklaces or want to make sure the necklace clasp stays behind your neck, lash glue will be your best friend!
Emergency kit suggestions: some sort of tummy soothing tea (ie ginger), tums, saltine crackers. Nerves and excitement can give you tummy issues and nausea while you get ready. And if you are nauseous you won’t eat anything… and if you don’t eat anything you will regret it later in the day. I bring tummy essentials to all of my friend’s weddings and it is always needed!

I would also add peppermint gum or actual mints. Mint is naturally soothing
@@laurDIYvlogsoh and alcohol swab wipes like the little ones that are just isopropyl alcohol, when you smell them they really help with nausea if you need it in emergencies, no idea why but they work🙌.
A small sewing kit and tons of safety pins saved my wedding lol. It seemed like every girl had dress issues including myself. Double stick tape for slippage and a magic eraser for deodorant spots on clothes are also handy to have. And don’t forget comfortable shoes for later!
Toothpicks floss, whitening strips, toothpaste, let’s stick, bobby pins, safety, pens, extra hairspray

Mini deodorant/perfume! Mini sewing kit! If your dress has any lace up aspect bring extra ribbon!! Gum/mints/listerine tabs. Feminine hygiene products. Hand sanitizer. Extra underwear and pair of sandals & I would pack a mini first aid kit just in case. Oh also eyelash and nail glue and a compact mirror

To add to the kit - power strip!!! Game changer if the room doesn’t have enough outlets or outlets in ideal spots for hairdresser and makeup artist!
I just had my wedding two weeks ago! And I am so excited for yours!! A tip on preventing blisters from heels is to use elastic athletic tape as bandages before u even have the heels on area you are likely to get blisters. They don’t slip off as easily as the normal bandages/ankle bandages.

As a part time day of coordinator and bridal attendant those shout wipes are the goat! I got make up out of a groom’s white tux and no stain in site! Highly recommend to stock up! Also sewing kit 100% and a mini stitch gun is so clutch!

I used to be a stage manager, so things that I always had in my emergency kit for backstage: mini sewing kit, tampons, mints/gum, Pedialyte/Gatorade/LiquidIV packets, cough drops, mini deodorant, contact solution, mini nail repair kit (nail file, nail glue, etc), bobby pins & hair ties, tweezers (normally in a first aid but just in case), sticky tape, and emergency snacks (protein bar, trail mix, fruit snacks, crackers, etc [basically stuff that won't stain but will fill you in a pinch). Very excited for you!!

I'm also getting married next month and i've felt like you and i are stressing at the same time together and knowing that we're triple checking everything now that it's coming up is so comforting that we're like almost there and that i'm not alone in feeling this way haha.
-Looking at the wedding ring made everything so real. Like omg Lauren is going to be a whole ass wife!
-One of the things l struggled with, was going to sleep on the days leading up to the wedding, because of the internal to do lists. So l kept a note pad beside my bed and wrote down everything that l thought of doing/ needed to do. And once it was written down, l could peacefully go to sleep because l knew that it wouldn't be forgotten.

a tube of hydrocortisone!!!! i always keep come with me because Im prone to skin irritation from clothing/jewelry, but its come in handy for friends when they have allergic reactions, eczema flare ups, bug bites, rashes, cold sores, etc!!! also super glue, some kind of lotion antiperspirant (like carpe), and a sunscreen that you’ve tested before hand that you know won’t stain
Mini sewing kit/safety pins, chalk for if you get makeup on your dress, baby powder for shoes, eyelash glue, and liquid iv are things that I would add to your emergency kit!😊

I’m soooooooo happy for you I’m screaming! I’m also engaged but we’re not financially ready for the wedding yet so I’ve loved being able to see this whole process through you for ideas and what not. 🆘 Kit to include: Mini sewing kit, boob tape or extra sticky bras or what not just in case, garment tape incase anything doesn’t stay where it’s supposed to, tampons/pads/flex cup/disk, eyelash glue, nail clippers for any hang nails or hanging skin, things to fix nails if they chip or break off, bandaids, extra earring backs, scrunches or hair ties incase you need to put your hair up, TUMMY MEDS nerves and emotions can cause tummy issues and we all know how tummy issues can come out of no where, poop bags and pet wipes for the boys too lol
The wedding dreams are so real 😅 I’d also recommend static spray and oil blotting sheets! Those were the most used in our baskets for the wedding.

From experience on our wedding day. Extra backing to ear rings. One earring back wouldn’t stay in. A small steamer for bridesmaids and mens shirts. Cash incase you have to send someone to the store. Snacks because i did not eat and almost passed out.
Ice breakers!!! Helps to freshen up before ceremony and can help keep nerves down, without worrying about being stuck with gum ❤
NEED TO ADD: baby wipes (they will save the day with any blood on a white dress. Take some spit (i know gross but the saliva breaks down the blood) and then clean it with the baby wipe! Has worked miracles for weddings I’ve worked!
I also came home with my husband after my wedding rather than booking a hotel room. It was the perfect ending to the night because we stayed up a little longer together to talk about the day and our favorite parts. It was a beautiful intimate time ♥️ 10/10 recommend
For earrings, if your hair is up, a little diamanté drop style is cute and if your hair is down, diamanté studs 👌🏽 also carry the Hermès flats the girls got you as a back up when pics etc are done and if your feet hurt:
My mom who helps with weddings at our church always brings tampons, pads, mints, and tylenol, and nail and sewing kits. Also buttons in black and white.
Bobby pins, pads/tampons, contact solution and the tape stuff that helps hold strapless dress up.

Razor for legs in case anyone want to touch up a missed spot, wrinkle release spray, static spray, SNACKS!! Lol great to be able to grab a granola bar if you get hungry during hair/makeup.

A sewing kit with threads that match your dress, the bridesmaid dresses and groomsman suits! I had a bridesmaid break her dress strap and my bustle broke so we sewed that too!
I did a cake topper pf me and my husband and did matching cut out of my husky to put on the bottom layer or our cake. It was so cute. I brought a wine box from etsy and let my wedding party write letters for us to read on our one year anniversary. We added to it on our 2 year anniversary. We put our cake toppers in. Me and my husband wrote letters to each other to read before walking down the aisle and a letter to read on one year anniversary.
When I heard you say your wedding is in one month I got really excited! My birthday is in one month April 19th! And I'm not assuming it would be on the same day but it would definitely be crazy if it was!😃

Definitely need safety pins, sewing kit with white thread and stud earrings!! Someone stepped on my train and ripped the button that attached my train up on my dress. If I didn’t have my safety pins and thread my planner would not of been able to fix it!! Used the studs for quick fix then once we finished welcoming guests my wedding planner sewed the button back on. Congrats again!! So excited for you and Jeremy!! Can’t wait to hear about it on the pod or here!!❤
The tide to go is so smart. My florist forgot to take the pollen anthers from the lilies in my bouquet, during the first look the best man ran and got a tide to go pen because my dress had bright yellow marks on the front, it saved the day!
Extra little shoe stoppers to put on the heels if you are in grass!! Sometimes they fall off walking down stairs and whatnot to the ceremony!!
I would definitely add: Mini prepasted toothbrush - easy, on the go, and no rinsing. My sister's wedding planner brought these and everyone use them! The ones we used are called: Colgate Optic White Wisp Disposable Mini Toothbrush, Peppermint
Hey Lauren, I know your wedding is both inside and outside so for any outdoor bits, I would recommend sunglasses or a little parasol umbrella, so that your eyes aren’t straining and you’re not getting sunburnt😎🫶🔥☂️💗✨
I heard that having a small piece of white chalk is good for the emergency kit! It can cover little stains or spills on your dress just in the moment

Lumify eye drops are a MUST. Make your eyes so white.
Also nail glue to glue jewelry in place so the clasps don’t move.
Recommended to me was chalk for any stains on a while dress but thankfully didn’t need
Little jewelry hack for photos!! Use eyelash glue on the pendants of the bracelets or necklace you decide to wear so they stay in place all day/night

Not a need to add but little tip: when my sister in law got married, a friend of hers suggested that on the day of the wedding, she wear her engagement ring on her right hand. That way, after the wedding, when she had her wedding band, she could put her engagement ring back on the left hand.

So at a couple of weddings i went to last year they had some of the stuff in your kit in the bathrooms, so like pads/ tampons, advil, pepto tabs, they also had mints and hair elastics which were a life saver! Might be easier than having people ask for stuff all night if they need it.
Lidocaine spray or cbd cream for the feet highly recommend!!
