I started playing this game last night. And it took me about 20 minutes to get past the title screen. This music made all the emotions come flooding back.
It took me two scene to broke me.. Fubuki who witness Mayuri dies in alpha timeline from her dream... And Okabe who have serious PTSD from that certain event at Radi-kan Radio station.. All of this in First Chapter of S;Gø
I feel myself traveling down deeper into despair. I have some hope left, that I can break through this wall I’ve had, for so, so long. I want to believe that I can break through this, that I can save myself before the clock runs out. I know I’ll hit rock bottom, that I won’t be myself. If I make it out, I’ll be helping myself. To be honest, though, I’ve been avoiding the ever aching problem- one that I know I can’t avoid. How will I be able to face myself, because I’ll have realized that I’ve wasted my time. 3- no, four years, of not dealing with this anxiety- that all this pain and suffering will be for naught- that I have yet to take the step forward- to not have face my demons. I guess I’ll have to be ready. To see the truth for what it is- that I’ll have to battle my inner demons.
This menu theme only has the impact it does because all that ground work was laid in the first game, what started out as a kinda quirky visual novel turned into some real horror, and a crazy self delusional "scientist" learns more then he ever cared to, and is now a victim of his own knowledge. They say, show me a wise man, and I'll show you a fuck-up a thousand times over... and our boy has become.... very wise.
This just feels like Okabe thinking to himself "I-I killed her.... Why does fate have to be so cruel, I leaped all those times! Took away the things that made my friends happy, mere *days* after giving them to them! All to save Mayuri! I accepted her death, *she* accepted her death! And in the end it was me who took her life! I should've known.... fate is a monster, no matter how hard we try, we can't change it! And when we do succeed, it comes at the expense of something else!" Usually, high notes represent good, yet in this song, it feels like it represents those harsh things we tell ourselves, like" you're an idiot!", those harsh truths we only realize after, the self pity that keeps us down.
I dare to disagree you This soundtrack is so hopeful and serious And all these high notes represent the glory and the desperate need for a win Like saying 'no matter what, no matter how, but I want to save her, I really need to save her!' And then the music fades into something really dark and gloomy showing to us how much you should fight to reach Steins;Gate
If you want to loop it and you're on a computer than just right click on the video itself and hit "loop" and it'll loop the video for you. I know it's been 9 months but I thought that I could help if you wanted to listen to this song like me forever.
@@duzinbbs4784 strangely enough if you take a better look at Zero it fills a lot of unanswered questions and solves the two plot lines that came out of nowhere in the original. The idea of Kurisu remembering for no reason and the last minute video message of how to save Kurisu. Both seemed like Deus Ex developments to give you a happy ending if Zero is not taken into account.

@@duzinbbs4784 Faris remembering just creates the original unexplained situation repeated with Kurisu. The original never bothers to explain and continues to ascertain Okabe is the only “Observer”. Zero however proves how most individuals remember (through vivid dreams, or daydreams depending on how strong the capacity to retain memories) and also proves that Observers are necessary to successfully create a project that would change the world through time manipulation (since you need to verify the changes happen). Suzuha only explains the video when they return from the failed attempt and her explanation is vague since as Zero proves she has no real knowledge of time traveling, just the basics of how to set up the machine and what to do or not do. The real reason, as we know, is that he had to fail once, period. It’s a fail safe since it’s not guaranteed he will succeed either (If Mayuri fails to get the message and coddles Okabe then he would have given up yet again).

8:49 The way Gate of Steiner tries to come out but struggles to do so is the best musical symbolism I have seen in a game ever.
Yeah it's pretty nice.
This is the best OST i have ever heard I play it in Minor voice while playing FPS games
Iron Man Awesome.
@@trackernivrig
You should try it to it really helps
Iron Man Yeah I might do that lol
You thought the suffering was over..
It's only just begun..
YES but when this suffering is over than the suffering of *FANS* will begin
Imagine leaping back in time for 3000 times.
This is too good. Like after a trance moment, I realized there were only about 8 minutes left. Thank the stabbed Moon

Started it up this morning and had the exact same problem.

This bgm has so many meaning.
In the background all the characters except okabe fell for okabe
which in a word means
*OKABE GOT ALL THREE TO HIMSELF*
It's beautiful I've been staring at this for 31:54 minutes by now
I just started playing this and already loving the music sooooo much!!!
We need 10 hours version of this
This is cinema quality "mission prep time" BGM for sure.
The longer you hear it, the clearer depression feeling you have been through in life...
No wonder I listen to it so much.
He looks so done with life in that art. It's crazy.
like this song so much
Currently doing my thesis to this banger.
