For those who don't know, this game is a remake of an old computer game of the same name. Still, what amazes me is the fact they were able to get those real life actor scenes into the remake, and they did it so beautifully.

You really put in some personality with those skeleton hands. Robert Hirschboeck will always be the true Henry Stauf for me but man, do they do a heck of a job with this as a reboot! I hope they do the 11th Hour someday.

Great walkthrough, needed to jump in for a hint. I'm really enjoying this game so far, shaping up to be the best puzzler I've ever played in VR. Gorgeous looking game, intriguing story, great atmosphere, clever puzzles, and it seems quite a long game for my dumb brain.

Well I enjoy your walkthrough, was nice seeing how they try to balance respecting the older game while making changes to feel fresh and new again.
Even though you didn't talk, your hand motions sure did say a lot.
Not sure how to feel about the fact they turn took out the snark but added in the violence. Part of the game fun for me was hearing how Henry Stauf felt he was better then others.
Sad they took out they basement maze and I think they intentional cheated the final challenge to drag it out somewhat, just a few too many correct rolls just when you were getting too far ahead.
The Knight and Princess game didn't work properly for me, I couldn't move the sword towards the Princess to be able to move the Knight up so your guide kindly helped me realise I wasn't going insane and it was just an annoying glitch! Another one that nearly caught me out is that I couldn't get the figures out of the clock in the attic after thinking i'd completed all of the rooms but had missed the bathroom out! I got most of the coin but there must be some really well hidden ones! Good fun all the same!

Fantastic and amazing, though I do have a gripe with this version, as they did not use Robert Hirschboeck's likeness as Stauf. Since the characters of 7th Guest, the original were so iconic, I think they should have used CGI characters instead of actors, to pay tribute to the old characters.
Aside from that, this version is truly amazing.
I'm only 1:03:45 in.. and I kind of like Hamilton and Elinor's dynamic- it's kind of cute.
So... nevermind- I USED to like their dynamic. But they're dead now. So...

I can’t figure out how to solve the globe puzzle with the fish and chicken and human head and donkey in the dining room. None of the combinations are working for me. It’s not finishing the completed puzzle with the tiles.

I am not much for gaming. I watched this entire video and have one question; does the game always end the same or have different outcomes? If it always ends the same, then what is there to do after you complete it. It would seem to get boring after a while.

i picked up this game years ago at a computer show back in the 90's. i think i paid $5 or $10 for the game it's been so long ago. later on, i picked up the 11th hour at a different computer show the bad side with the 11th hour it had a bug with the sound & you had to go online & download a patch for whatever soundcard you had in your pc at the time. if you played the 11th hour without the patch the sound was very choppy.

Can anyone help me with the hint system please, which I just cannot get to work on my Quest 2. When I pick up a coin it vanishes into thin air after a few seconds, like it's going into some kind of inventory for future use. But there's no apparent way to subsequently use it.
The tablet thing is displayed when I press left trigger button, and I can slide the puck thing around using the right "grip" button. When I hover over the buttons (up/down floor, help, progress) they highlight but I have no idea how to "click". I've tried stabbing it with the right hand pointy finger ... Nothing happens. I've tried picking up a coin and dropping it onto the puck's "coin holder" but it just vanishes in the same way. Can anyone help me please?
When you are at the point when the button you want to press is highlighted, Continue holding the grip button and press the trigger to select it. 👍

The ouija board doesn't work for me. I'm on PC. I move the pointer over the icons and text, they light up green but nothing happens, any ideas?
you have coins to use it ?
Move the pointer over the one you want to choose, when it lights up, continue holding the pointer and hit the trigger button.

Mine glitched at 2:04:24 silver the puzzle and the door did not open. Seemed that I could not see what happened once I completed the puzzle. And walking around the house for about another hour trying different stupid things finally gave up watch this video to see what was supposed to trigger and how I missed it then I see it's glitched son of a bitch.

Ya, that room can be a bit glitchy. If restarting the game doesn't solve the problem, you might need to just spend a coin on the ouija board to skip past it. That or start a new game. 😥
Same. This room is messed with no way to fix it. Even after using the coin to fix the head glitch, I still hated the puzzle. The wall diagrams and the names were just annoying.
Really nice walktrogh. But I stuck at the billard (1:31:00): I cant sink the last (9er Ball). Have someone a hint please.
If you know the solution to the puzzle and the last ball won't register as going in the pocket because of a glitch, then I would suggest just using the ouija board to spend a coin and bypass the puzzle. When you've figured out the puzzle and you're only hinderance is a glitch, it's not worth the frustration to try and deal with it. Move on and enjoy the rest of the game. (Hopefully glitch free) 🤞👍
thx@@99THVR In game I found no possibility to get the balls out for a retry. But after restart the game, the balls were all on the table again and I was able to redo. Now it worked :-) Maybe it was a glitch or I messed up with the 6er and 9er balls before.

You can open drawers in the hallways and in rooms and cupboards too to find additional coins. Also seems the Ouija board doesn't work in my game... I've tried to get a hint and nothing happened, it doesn't react to me moving the planchette at all. weird.
I think they added some info on how to use... what it didn't tell you before tha patch was after you move the planchette to the button "map, floors, progress, hint) you have to click with the trigger button to accept.

Such a shame that this game is for VR only. Most of the fans of the series (including myself) are hardly purchasing VR and the latest, greatest Apps! I would have played the shite out of a standard remaster/reboot. Alas, like most people, I did not invest in the gimmick of 3D tech (seriously, when will people learn? It was a gimmick in the 20s (yes, 3D glasses for film were invented then), it was a gimmick in the 90s and its a gimmick today. Such a waste of development time. Sorry, that's just how I feel.

Did the dev’s even play the original? Nothing like the original. They turned it into a childish game.
The original one had some really hard puzzles, most of people didn't even finish the game as it was nerve wrecking.
I think it was a great idea that they simplify them, you can easily lose interest with the story if the puzzle are too hard.
