- Hello Puppets! is a horror-comedy adventure that turns your hand into a living, talking puppet named Scout. Years ago, a bad Sesame Street knock-off called “Mortimer’s Handeemen” was canceled and forgotten, but the puppets from the show have come to life, they’re pure evil, and they have plans for you. Your only chance of escape is the somewhat-less-evil Scout. Work with Scout to find a way out of this freak show before it’s too late!

That's what I'm noticing immediately as I start watching this for the first time as I'm writing this. At first, it looks like the player's like, "Ohhh, great! This button does nothing! Awesome!" in sarcastic disappointment, and then seconds later when the game's logo appears he just puts his hand out like, "Well, WTF is THIS now?!" xD
This is what I like about the silent ones; you can tell just by gestures that they're having fun. (Pardon the rhyming. XD)

I love the affectionate gestures to Scout. Patting her on the head upon receiving her, patting her on the back after succeeding one of Riley's tests, it's so cute.

Love how at the end you reached for your puppet and tried to rub its back when hurt and dying. And to top it all off when they where showing the credits you reached to pick your puppet back up as if to say “hey that’s mine! Give me!!” It was funny and adorable

I love how Mortimer is like a Lawful Evil type guy and Reily is Chaotic Evil which gives them a hilarious father-daughter situation

37:48 Owen talks as if the puppets have been alive for a few days with him.
I think the last tape we hear with Owen is the last time he was conscious in his own body, right before the puppets strap him in and transfer his soul into another body. In Midnight Show, we learn that they have to transfer Owen's soul into other hosts not only to keep his life force alive so they can stay alive, but also to experiment with altering variables observing if it changes Owen's mind about not fully excepting the now alive and sadistic puppets, by order of Mortimer. After Owen is finished expressing his distaste of the puppets, he says "Mortimer told me the other night that he had a plan to cheer me up?" I think the plan Mortimer was referring to was the soul transfers and the experiment that we play through in midnight madness.

I found this from the recommendation after seeing the demo for the prequel, and I must say those extra gestures made this so much better. I think those made me like Scout more.

Yes! YES! She speaks clearly! She knows how to enunciate! I was so relived when I heard her voice and I could actually understand it.
Ah, the scientist is unintelligble as well. Less so than Mortimer, but still, pretty bad.
The real way you can tell if someone is evil or not is if you can actually understand what they're saying.
See, this is what makes us want to listen to her. The fact that we can understand what she's asking us to do. No, I mean literally. We can barely even make out what Mortimer is saying. How are we supposed to obey if we don't even know what he is saying? This was not a well thought out plan.
Ah, even her swearing and muttering under her breath is disernable. How refreshing, and quite frankly grounding. It really does get me to trust her more, I wonder if that was intentional.

Honestly, I think that Sonic and Shadow would do pretty well in this world. Heck, they would just view the puppet’s plan to take over the world kind of similar to what Eggman does on a regular basis.
