ROTB Scourge being a mix between his G1 version and RID2001 is pure genius really, it appeals to both fandoms.

That Bumblebee's one of the more solid versions of the guy in the line, he doesn't feel like he'll fall apart, the quality is good, he's simple in a satisfying way
I saw someone online saying that RoTB Wheeljack should have been Beachcomber and now I can't unsee it.
Also RoTB Mirage was very Prime Smokescreen.
Pretty sure the "'till all are one" line has always been a reference to how sparks all return to Primus, kind of a roboty may god be with you sort of thing.
Yes, but it turning into like a rallying cry for different groups so come together (both literally and metaphorically) is great. It's like how in The Mandalorian "This is the way" is just the pseudo-religious thing they say, but every so often it's used for a big "we stand together" moment.
Not so much in the original TV series, since Primus came from the G1 Marvel comics while the G1 TV series/1986 movie had it’s own creation story for the Transformers, but I definitely agree that in pretty much every series post-G1 it’s probably like a reference to Primus or the Allspark or the like since those parts of the the story have definitely been more adopted across the franchise than the Quintessons.
I always interpreted it as fighting the good fight until everyone is unified instead of being at war with or enslaving each other. Before it became a constant reference because it's a good line, at least.

That can only be true if the line appeared in the G1 comics before it appeared in the show/movie. Primus exists in the G1 comic universe but not the G1 cartoon universe.
The "In shock" scene was NOT in Rise Of The Beasts... apparently it was from an earlier cut where a hologram shows Unicron arriving and the devastation he causes, which makes the human(s) freak out. It was removed so the film wouldn't be so "dark" - hopefully it'll be on the Blu-ray. :)
Man, they really wanted this movie to be a low stakes type deal.
Scourge (And Battletrap) is honestly great, takes a lot of classic and standard transformers ideas and puts a slightly new spin on them.
What I do like is that Scourges transformation has the nods to different versions of the character as well....The shoulders forming the front of the alt mode is very RiD 2001 Scourge/G2 Prime and the backpack wrapping around to form the sides is a little like the G1 shellformer without being a shellformer itself.
.....Also it can't just be me that thinks you could get a decent Shockwave out of the Scourge mold.
It bothers me that this is the first time I've heard of somebody saying it would make a good candidate for good ol Shocky...That makes so much sense.

The spindly legs are even a callback to the G1 toy.

You can actually remove Scourge's grill chains, revealing more badges, including what seems to be Wrecker and Terrorcon!
As someone who is currently on holiday in Manchester at the moment, I can confirm it is very warm right now in the UK.
I really love the Studio Series ROTB Bee cuz he got those squat bumble proportions that no Bee figure from the 2018 movie were able to achieve. He's also a brighter yellow as oppose to the amber yellow that is more like a bayverse thing.
Studio Series ROTB Scourge is a bit underwhelming in truck cuz it's a bit hollow and doesn't compress at all. Not as bad SS DOTM Megatron's truck mode tho. But Scourge's robot mode is pretty awesome even tho it's based on an earlier design. I may prefer it tho cuz he comes menacingly creepy.
Dunno if it was the way you said it or what but "Did you beat Bumblebee face angel weapon?" cracked me up. Your vids are always a delight, your enthusiasm and cheerfulness are always infectious.
I highly recommend just throwing the instructions for scourge in the trash and looking at some reviews to get the hang of it. I found them to be completely incomprehensible. After seeing a reviewer do the transformation in real time and applying what I saw, it became so much easier and made me enjoy the figure that much more.
Singing songs while wearing the Bee mask was very fitting for the character. Lol

The ROTB toyline is something else, man...I really recommend the Beast Weaponizers, Primal and Prime are super fun and each comes with a little pet!
That scene where Arcee waves at Alana(?) was indeed cut- about 25-30 minutes of footage were cut from the filn including a fight scene between Optimus and a Decepticon bus called Transit, which takes place in the bus yard he pulls up through when he meets Noah
I fell off Transformers for a while but now that im falling back into the hobby its great to see you still doing your thing bringing so much laughter to my face. Absolutely love the Bumblebee mask Sleep Token moment. Keep being you man, love your stuff and thanks for making my day ❤️ 😊🤘

That smash changer Primal is more engaging than it has any right to be. Something about the steps and all at once options is pure happy juice.
Yeah there was a load of stuff they cut out of the final film, Optimus was supposed to have a whole ass battle sequence with Transit, but the whole scene and Transit himself got cut out as well. It's a shame cuz I would've loved to see that.
The fact that both Bumblebee and ROTB had to change their openings due to test audiences
They’re terrified of making these movies long enough for mainstream audiences to have a problem with after some of the latter Bayverse slogs, we’ll probably have to wait until more mainstream trust is re-earned by the new movies to get longer films

Studio Series 100 Bumblebee is my favorite Transformer I've gotten in a while. He was a birthday present from my younger siblings along with Terrircon Freezer after I'd had a rough week and wasn't expecting anything. It also helps that he's a really good figure.

ROTB Scourge is pretty much a conceptual mish-mash of G1 and RID'01 Scourges, with a bit of Tarn thrown in.

The most speculation I saw going around about Scourge was that he was Optimus from the Bayverse movies turned evil and brought into this new rebooted universe.

Also, her back wheel really doesn't want to spin, but if you cut off all the pegs, it works way better. The long thin peg in the wheel arch does plenty to hold it together.

I wish SS Scourge's arms were a bit longer. The could've used some of that truck kibble on his back for the arm transformation.

Tbh core class removes what a small figure should be. It's 15-20 bucks with decent engineering. Legends used to be 2-5 bucks.
I still think this promo set should had come with all 4 ROTB "Core" Series Maximals; both Deluxe Cheetor and Airazor along Voyager Optimus Primal and Rhinox.
I wonder if the reason Hasbro left Mirage out of this gift box is how his toys were obviously based on early scrapped concept art. I mean, I know you established here that SS 2018 Bumblebee had the same issue to s degree, and Scourge appears to as well, but SS ROTB Mirage is very blatantly just a completely different guy. "Studio Series Mirage was The Imposter"

You can tilt the titty headlights on the studio series 100 bumblebee so it’s not as flat. So glad I found the variant with the extra gray paint around the eyes, because that yellow upper face with the blue eyes doesn’t work

Twisted Metal World Tour was my favourite of the series.
SS bee and Scourge is 2 of the best figures I’ve gotten all year and possible the best and cleanest SS figures I’ve ever had. I think they’re even better than the 86 stuff.

Well, considering that the Studio Series has just expanded into Commander Class with the introduction of '86 Ultra Magnus, I'd say a Commander Class Stratosphere doesn't sound too out of the question.

I keep feeling like there was some last minute change or something with the film that shifted Mirage to the main protag bot instead of bumblebee cus there's just... barely any Mirage merch out there. Hell, his Funko Pop has a completely different head that looks nothing like the film lol.

Love the core class size figues. The closest in terms of engineering we've had that I can remember were the TF Prime era Cyberverse Commander class figures which had engineering rivaling their Deluxe and Voyager counterparts

7:44 Wasn't in the film in the same bit of a scene of Optimus in a Bus depot (Transit battle scene). Apparent that scene was when Airazor project a hologram when her homeworld got invade by Scourge and Unicron and she then shows a large hologram of Unicron gonna to devour Earth from above.

I loved Rise of beasts, the little bit at the end made me so excited.....though i wish they had gone with 'Special Counter-terrorism Unit Delta' but i understand why they didnt.

😂 my friend and I looked at each other during the Mirage chase "those cops just died!" Haha but it's a cool chase so the movie just keeps going really the cops and the security guard doing their jobs got taken out for no good reason other then showing up to work that evening

Really enjoyed Scourge but I am missing Megatron especially with these new G1 designs. Anyone else kinda notice Scourge looked like he was badly damages without the mask on. Maybe he was damaged before and made a deal with Unicron like Megatron did to become Galvatron. Just my fun theory. When Megatron dose come back i could definitely see him after being badly damaged some how making that deal with Unicron again and reopening the threat of the chaos bringer. Fun theories off the top of my head.
