ABOUT THE GOOD PLACE
From creator Michael Schur (“Brooklyn Nine-Nine,” “Parks and Recreation” and “Master of None”) comes a unique comedy about what makes a good person. The show follows Eleanor Shellstrop (Kristen Bell, “House of Lies,” “Veronica Mars”), an ordinary woman who enters the afterlife, and thanks to some kind of error, is sent to the Good Place instead of the Bad Place (which is definitely where she belongs). While hiding in plain sight from Good Place Architect Michael (Ted Danson - “Cheers,” “CSI” - in an Emmy Award-nominated performance), she’s determined to shed her old way of living and earn her spot.

To be honest a just love the inclusion of Derek into the show. He's kind of like the Jason version of robots. Which is weird.
Eddie Braga “Not a robot :)”
Not a robot
Maybe it’s because Janet created him to “replace” Jason, so he based his personality on him.

Jason Mantzoukas is the best, they should do a spin off called 'Maximum Derek' - it could be about Janet showing Derek the wonders of the universe, just give us more Derek please (and Janet, you can never have too much Janet!)

Love the random martini glasses filled with random things
I love Derek so much.
Why does it take constant energy for Janet to keep all her babies existing... except for Derek!
I think Janet put a bit of her essence into Derek when she was first experimenting with creating people. I remember in one episode she had to take it back but there was still enough in there later to do things like run the train and temporarily run the neighborhood.
I think after being rebooted over half a million times, he doesn't work with Janet's dependence anymore and works and powers independently
@@adilrahman1142 his power is Derek.
Derek is different from the other residents. Derek has a lot of the same powers that Janet has. He can summon objects, teleport and has his own void (not sure about the last one).

Maximum Derek, love that guy
He is not forking Derek Bullshirt, he is Nuclear Nadel
is this what Pimento was doing when he wasn’t in prison or in WPS?
Great character!
I've heard that apparently the writers weren't interested in writing a Redemption Arc for Brent.
Of course, anything can happen in the next four episodes, plus the movie lengthed finale. However, I can only assume that means that we're never going to see John, or Brent again. (Maybe Simone, because he's Chidi's ex and all that, but probably not.)
That just kind of makes me really sad. I remember after watching the first episode of this season, I started to wonder if this show even had a chance of improving John and Brent. And yet, they managed to make me see John as a potential Friend, by the end of episode 3. And, while I might not see him as a potential Friend, I certainly felt bad for him, at the very end of episode 7, when the experiment ends, and he's spiralling through the five stages of grief within 10 seconds, to try and say his apology to Chidi.
Now that Brent really has improved though, I can't help but wonder how he would act from now on. Of course, just because that he feels sorry for a moment, doesn't mean that his entire personality is going to flip, obviously. But I wonder if it would change, at all.
Derek is such a mess.

Edit: I googled it and it’s a mid season break and unfortunately the next episode won’t be out until january :(
And noooooooooooo to your update!!! 😱

So this is where Nuclear Nadal ended up.
I think Derek is like The Good Place’s Gina Linetti
cat lover From an angle, Derek isn’t stupid either. His brain just literally isn’t correct.
Though I think to begin with the point being aimed was that main plot is happening, and Gina/Derek are over here doing their own thing, occasionally helping things along in some capacity.

Eleanor: Who the fork is that??
Derek: Hi, Im a Perverted 14 year old who like to screw his pillows.
Janet was right at the end, Derek's brain is *VERY* wrong!
Hi. My brain is wrong!
This is incredibly off topic with this video, but I have no idea where to comment this down and I rrrreeeaaaallly need to spill this, idk if anyone commented this before but..
Remember Doug? And Micheal being mad about not being close to the good place?
Firstly, we all know that if any human knew about the afterlife system, they can’t move their points up anymore, no matter how good or bad they are, their points will stay the same. The main 4 did an experiment on Earth to regain their responsibilities and respect, which was working I guess? But, they did overhear Micheal & Janet talking about the afterlife system AND the points system as well. So then, they couldn’t earn any points anymore because they knew about it.
On to the real topic here, Doug also knew even though he got 92% correct, he did know about the points system, thus he can longer earn any points, no matter how good he is right? So basically he’s doing it for nothing ‘cuz he’ll never earn points anyway. In older episodes, Eleanor did the same thing, she knew she needed to be good in order to stay in “the good place”, Eleanor couldn’t get anymore points because she knew SHE NEEDED to BE GOOD.
So maybe that’s the reason..? Sorry if it didn’t make sense ;-;
if u wanna share, please credit me, took me like a month to find the reason why
however, if i did get some right can i get informed please?????

Why is this not longer? 😒😒
Where's Season 4 Episode 10 on Netflix
😂😂😂
ATTENTION: I HAVE BEEN DEREKED!!
so when is the last episode :( its still missing the happy or sad ending
Episode 10 will air on January 9th. Episode 11, 12, and 13 will be airing, weekly, afterwards.
Finally, a special movie-lengthed finale, will air on January 30th.
I've mentioned this in the video I uploaded, about the good place, but I'm calling it at the final twist, is going to be that this was all in Michael's head, right before he died. Michael is actually a human, and he was actually a really bad one, at that. Very similar to Brent, actually. He was just about to die, from some sort of freak accident, probably a mixture of all four deaths of the humans, as a consequence for his selfish behaviour. This entire show, from the first second of Season 1, till the finale, has all been Invasion inside of his hat, of him going from an all evil demon, to one of the best people out there. He is having a vision of the ultimate improve arc. Unfortunately, none of it matters, because he is about to die.
The moral of the story, is that you don't have forever to improve in the afterlife; It's best to do it Now, while you can.
Another possibility, is that this is all in Eleanor's head, but I think it would work better, with it being Michael.
carealoo744 that would kinda ruin the show, take away the journey we went through. Besides, the moral is that we can always improve
@@indiegala281 Highly disagree. It would not ruin the journey that we've been on; I mean, it would, but it would also greatly encouraged everything that we've learned.
From interviews that I've read, from the writers, it appears the greatest message they want to give to us, is not to worry too much about if you're actually Doing good or bad things, as long as you're Trying to be good. It doesn't matter if by a shear stroke of bad luck, a good intention results in a bad consequence. All that matters is that you tried to do good; It doesn't matter if you failed, you're still a good person, for trying to do good.
However, most of the show so far, show humans improving in the afterlife; Not Earth. Of course, the afterlife doesn't actually exist in real life, so it's not like we can just wait until we die, and improve then, even if we do, Earth is still screwed from some of the bad things we might have done down there.
I find there's quite a big chance that my idea won't actually happen. But, if it does, I think it would be remembered as one of the most darkest, yet brilliant endings of a Show. The moral would be that it's best to improve and Now, on Earth, because you could die literally any second, and you can't just wait until you're dead, to go and improve in the afterlife.
It would also be 1 of those extremely rare occurrences, where the: 'And then they woke up, and it was all a dream,' trope, would Actually work.
I hope we same place again very now
Please make a tour of elenors house

Pimento
Why do I hate how Eleanor says her own name
she says it the way ted danson (michael) says it haha
JM and his constant mugging is a drag on every show he is on.
He's an acquired taste, to be sure. Like a fine, French red Derek. But the thing is, shows keep asking him to be essentially a variant on the batshit crazy character he is in so many shows, and just like Adam West found it easy to frequently slip back to his goofy persona post Batman, why would Jason Mantzoukas turn down easy money made in a fun way?
You should look into the occasions he's given a chance _not_ to be that character though... he's perfectly capable of doing a good, calmer, and more nuanced persona. Much (though not all) of his voice acting in cartoons is a better example of this, where without his distinctive face, people don't do automatically associate it with his usual onscreen persona 😊 My point is that it's more an example of typecasting and what producers expect when they take on certain actors than it is about the acting range of said actors.
Derek is the show's biggest stumble. Potentially the only lasting mistake they've made over the show's run.
