I've never been to Australia. My nephew lives in Brisbane. He is enjoying his life, and from the pics and vids he sends, the country and people look to be quite cool. The only thing that freaks me is the spiders and snakes. Creepy crawlies freak me out, thankfully in Scotland they are limited to near nothing, lol.

Australia is the perfect country to live in. There's urban luxuries to enjoy, and a coastline that is exciting to explore and enjoy. Because much of the coastal areas are primitive and uninhabited, adventurous people can live "off the grid" and experience the satisfaction of living off the bounty of both sea and land, just as countless people did long ago. Watching this video and seeing these people in a world so different from everybody else's, that I'm filled with the longing to jump right in and give it a go for myself!

I both love and hate mullet it took me 36 years to catch one on rod n line and it was an epic fight cuz I had to use a hook as small as my little finger nail and 4lb line it took a dozen near misses but I eventually hooked n landed a 3.5lb grey thin lip mullet in St malo marina on holiday France 2014.

Quick question re bush fridge - does taking a salt water fish and putting it in the Fresh water not change the flavour and texture of the fish? Do the diamond scale mullet not let that happen? The Chemist in me was thinking it would make the flesh go mushy? Thanks for a ripper video, laughed so hard at the gob stopper oysters - If there was a fair bit of hunger going around the camp and you were hoeing into those - well you might not want to watch Jack Stricker's commentary on the sharks in the last video 🤣🤣🤣🤣. I like shark🤷 just have to process them immediately. It's weird they piss through their skin. But the times I've had shark it was great. Also love alligator. Neither are local here
