      Actually, he was the first to benefit from computers. But back then, they were more useful for developing engines. Kasparov was already a genius in his time, and with today’s engines, he could reach an even more impressive level.

    Gary's games are interesting with an attacking style, not boring like Magnus's games. Drawnus's games are too simple and have too many draws against weaker players, he can't attack like Gary. Drawnus is the second Tigran Petrosian

      Magnus The Goat Carlsen is a level above Kasparov. Gary can't really play against Carlsen because Magnus plays not only with his pieces but also with Kasparov's.
      Magnus has everything under control.

      @andrejbogdanov2816 you almost never see games between grandmasters taken to their logical conclusions, i.e. checkmate; most often, the losing GM sees the inevitable checkmate coming a few moves before and the game is resigned.

      @@michaellupu2080 just like Caruana did in this game - he could have played Bxf3 to let Kasparov mate him on g1. Or Qxf3 losing the Queen. He didn't. Instead he resigned.

      The king cannot move out of check. If Bishop takes rook, Qg1 mate. If Queen takes rook, p×Q, which is winning. If Qf2, QxQ mate.

    Пока Каспаров был ещë в хорошей форме- выигать мог любого - и Накамуру и Каруану и Непомнящего с Карякиным. Потом Кимович резко сдал.
