Miss my 1300coupe
Worst part about those early piston 1300 variants - no radiator overflow tank.
And the hose was cut in the factory about 3inches short. This consistently filled the RH front chassis rail with water and they ALL rusted out big time.
My 1300 coupe - no rust / not even in the rear 1/4s….RHF rail was absolute toast so sad
1300TC 4cyl engines were absolutely indestructible…

Old REAPS square exhaust with the 1in pollution pipe
There was this funky chunky exhaust manifold that was connetcted to a belt driven air pump and the air pumped in went down its own exhaust.
The weight of the whole system alone was CRAZY
Put a set of extractors on a rotary and we all know how much difference it made!
Air pump has all these DO NOT REMOVE stickers haha

With Rotary Cars and how rare they are, it’s dissatisfying seeing/hearing a non rotary engine in it, it’s like buying a Lambo and putting a Honda engine in it. But I bet it’s loads of fun with that LS7 torque. At the end of the day it’s not my car just my opinion.
