I bought these exact clips. A friend of mine saved my Super Metroid using them, but be warned: they are a very tight fit and you need to bend the tabs VERY slowly! Do not rush them! Make sure the pads on the PCB are entirely clean of solder. Use a soldering wick and flux to get it pristine. We got it working after about an hour of fiddling with the clip. Thanks for the video!

If I remember right my Super Metroid doesn't save. Should do this some time. Trouble with my soldering little things is I put too much heat into them.

Between using the retrode and now the SaveTheHero builder, preserving my saves is no longer an issue.
Curious why you don't just use an emulator and rom at this point?

I'll play on the FX Pak Pro when i'm not doing spritework as nothing quite beats like the rush of powering on a console and playing.

@@s34nvideos Maybe used on Ebay, but really your better off with the SaveTheHero builders as they are much recent and available & more functional.

I have a Donkey Kong country 1 that won’t save at all. Replaced the battery still nothing. Tried that a few times. I removed and reflowed the ram chip and it still won’t save. Any suggestions?
