- HELLO EVERYONE!! today i’m sharing 6 cute & easy anime inspired daily hairstyles from 90’s and early 2000’s nostalgic anime! i’m covering hairstyles from miwako from paradise kiss, mikako from neighborhood story, tomoyo from cardcaptor sakura, and tohru from fruits basket. these are my interpretations of their hairstyles as wearable daily looks. i hope you enjoy!! 🎀💗
i think it’s no secret that i fell out of love with anime for the past 3 years or so. but since the start of quarantine, i felt like i finally had time to revisit old hobbies and interests, and i think it was inevitable but now 6 months into quarantine i’m fully back on my anime shit lol. i’ve been revisiting all my old favorite series and it’s been a really good time! i love nostalgia anime more than anything since it shaped my childhood, so it really inspired me to make this video 🥺💗
lately i’ve also been watching other classic anime that i never got into as a kid because i was too busy selling my soul to hxh or fma. if you follow me on twitter you can find me crying every day over naruto lol.

Idek why I clicked on this when I'm 19 and am literally balding cause of alopecia, I haven't been allowed to let my hair grow longer then shoulder length for years or else it just looks horrific lmao. I would love to someday try these out with cosplay wigs maybe! So adorable :D

So cuuuuute! I always end up making my hair really messy and getting confused with different strands whenever I try to do fancy styles, but you make it look so easy. It takes a surprising amount of skill to pull all these off flawlessly!

@@emiscommentingaccount96 thank you💜i got my hair perm straighten and everyone complimented how good i look, it was like my whole appearance changed , i got many followers on social media too but now they are back to curly frizzy and honestly there is a big diff in compliments and also how i look in mirror 😟 so all i can think of is to straight them again even when i suffered major hair loss and got treatments for it

Hi Mei! I am a 14 year old half-Chinese girl, and I've been looking for something like this for such a long time. I had a party to go to a couple days ago, and I needed a good hairstyle. My hair is really slippery and long, but these hairstyles worked so well! I went with Tomoyo from Cardcaptor Sakura's double bun hairstyle. It was so cute and everybody loved it.

Pros of having wavy hair like me:
You don't need to curl it to give it volume
Cons:
It tangles easily
It won't stay put
It only has volume if it's not tied up
when you wear it in a ponytail you look like a squirrel
EDIT: ok yes this isn't true for everyone with wavy hair, I get it-

ahh ! cardcaptor sakura and fruits basket are some of the most underrated anime. im glad to see them now in your content ^^ (i originally read the fruits basket manga, but the 2019 reboot made the anime more popular-- and its very good ! carcaptor sakura is also very dear to my heart and i cry every time i see the ending ;w;) great job w the hair!!

Omg I love your hair, especially your bangs!! They frame everything so well!! I have bangs but they don’t look like yours at all, they’re really straight, no volume at all. I use a velcro roller to sleep at night but I wake up with the roller entirely tangled in my bangs and sometimes hair. And it’s really ugly, I admire how amazing your bangs look so effortlessly cute!!

another good variation for miwako's hairstyle is to flip the ponytails inside of themselves downwards, in order to fake that wrapped piece of hair around the base of each one💕

Love these! Shoujo manga is peak oshare and I wish I saw more shoujo hairstyles more often. Although nowadays a lot of shoujo just go for the fuwa fuwa fluffy wavy long look.
