My grandpa had one of these. Forget what year. They were super crude and archaic even when new, but they were tough and sturdy. Definitely not good road trip vehicles, though. My dad said, going with my grandpa from CA to Montana in one of these damn near killed him 😂
I solved the stuck valve problem in my old ford Jailbar by removing them permanently.

Ya they weren't good road trip vehicles for sure. Utilitarian and tough yes but otherwise Nope unless you like getting beating to death lol
