Add me to the list of listeners who are now crying their eyes out. Crusty 65 year old guy, and I'm gutted. I'm a singer, so I know good singing when I hear it. This is as fine as singing gets. Thank you!
I'm a Yank, but I'm a child of the Otter clan; my people were from Clare. I've played the music - two and three nights a week in Southern California because we have strong representation here. And I've made my pilgrimage and stood in a cemetery filled with stones bearing my family name. It was on a hill overlooking the coast. As I stood there looking West over the ocean, I think I finally understood why I had to move from Philadelphia to the west coast: it would have been what my ancestors did.
Thank you for this divine music!

I live in America. 28 years old. My family been here for many many years now but My ancestors came from the Inishowen Peninsula. Hearing you sing just makes me feel a tad bit closer to my family’s past culture. You’re a big reason why now I been learning Gaelic. I wanted to understand what that beautiful voice was saying with those beautiful words . Thank you for keeping your culture alive and wish you the best future.

Given that Eleanor lived in the 17th Century, how did you manage to see her development?
Also, pretty sure that it was her husband who was the poet in the family.
