I want to blame this on DEI hiring practices but honestly the game feels like they've taken the route of Call of Duty and really just in it for a cash grab. Getting rid of the Krypt for a paywall was quite telling.

It's not really shoehorned in here like it is with other games and you have Progress Pride flags in your face all the time. I think this one is a mix of it just being a cash grab and most likely DEI hiring practices which gets underqualified people in the fold for those sweet ESG bucks.
