A mon sens, l'art est comme la vie. Une force aussi précieuse qu'immense charger d'élargir le domaine du champ du sensible. Un peu comme une marguerite qui pousse entre lea fissure d'un sol en béton. Les artistes de ton calibre Gabb rendent compte de son aspect démocratique. Peut importe qu'une pièce soit née d'une machine charger de divertir et au capacité sonore limité. La vérité reste que des être humains on pétrie et sculpté la matière a leur disposition pour imprimé du rêve, des affects, des chemins possible pour l'imaginaire. Mettre ton savoir faire au service de ses pièces qui au détour de l'histoire pourrait très bien disparaitre, ces ni plus ni moins te mettre au service de l'art, tout simplement. Merci Gabb. Vraiment.

Question pour toi. Je constate que tu n'as jamais de feuille lorsque tu joues. Alors pour apprendre les morceaux, utilises-tu des feuilles de musique pour ensuite les mémoriser, ou bien joues-tu à l'oreille?
Merci pour ton message. Je commence par créer et imprimer les partitions, c'est un travail d'écoute et d'adaptation. Les liens des partitions sont en description de mes vidéos.
Je travaille ensuite les morceaux à partir des partitions que j'apprends par cœur généralement. Mais il m'arrive parfois d'avoir la flemme de les apprendre et de garder la partition lors de l'enregistrement, comme sur celles-ci par exemple :

À quoi correspond le titre ?
Aucune idée... C'est probablement une traduction libre du titre japonais de la musique 子午線の祀り tirée de l'album "Seiken Densetsu 2 Original Sound Version" qui comprend toutes les musiques du jeu. On trouve également parfois les traductions "Meridian Festival" ou encore "The Prayer of the Arctic Circle". Mais il s'agit en réalité de la musique qu'on entend lorsqu'on affronte le dernier boss du jeu, le Démo Mana. Je ne vois personnellement pas trop le rapport entre ce titre et l'affrontement final, mais je le trouve classe.
J'ai toujours pensé que comme le combat se déroule dans le ciel à la poursuite de flammie le titre exprimait comme un perte de repaire, comme la dance d'une boussole rendu folle par les mouvement tout azimut du vaisseau.

Yes, Prophecy, but also Into the Thick of It, The Little Sprite, Danger and Flight into the Unknow are very difficult.

All these years later, with all my life experience now, and the nostalgia of childhood long behind me, my eyes cannot help but water a bit at just how good the part at 0:59 is (and not just here, but the original track and other faithful adaptations). Truly expresses just how masterful the SoM sound track is. You have all this frenetic and intense energy leading up to it, the Mana Beast revealed, the heroes unable to do anything more than react on their well honed instinct in their fight against such desperate and impossible odds, and that part kicks in sounding so powerfully heroic and hopeful that they can win. It's a remarkably stark contrast compared to so many other composers of video game music, where boss themes (especially final boss themes) almost NEVER have a moment of sounding heroic, hopeful, or emotional in more than the raw awe inspiring terror and danger of the enemy being faced. And yet, SoM does the same thing with Danger, two of three boss themes depicting such a sense of bravery and skill to secure the very fate of the world from harm. SoM2 does it, as well, with Sacrifice Part 3. The whole song is heroic as hell and is an excellent follow up from the intense, oppressive percussion of Part 2.
You played both tracks I challenged you to with absolute impeccable skill. You know I have to ask now if you'll be doing any Secret of Mana 2, arguably a better overall soundtrack, and that's really saying something given SoM is already top tier masterclass.
I really like the music of Seiken Densetsu 3, especially Swivel and Powell with their pan flute sound. If one day I arrange music for this game, it will be these themes in priority I think.
@@GabbPiano Heck yeah, dude, Powell is my favorite area theme for sure, and Strange Medicine my favorite boss theme. If ya ever get around to SD3, best of luck. I hope you've experienced the remake, Trials of Mana, and it's take on the soundtrack. Sounds so faithful to the original MIDI yet with real instrumentation. Amazing stuff.
@@Deioth Yes, I played the Trials of Mana demo a lot on Switch, and I think of buying the full game, when I have a little more time to play. ^^ I really like its musical remix too.
