I was hoping your ReWatch discussions would include a "it got better or worse" rating. Sometimes, the Slow Parts dominate a ReWatch, other times slow parts are easily identified and skipped over (which can be a good thing).
I found solo deeply mediocre. Like, I watched the whole thing and it wasn't bad, but it wasn't good and it was far too long for what it was. I have since watched the super mario bros series and also think it is fun and short and a really good nerdy time for the games fans. The voice casting excepting jack black was ALL wrong though. Can't believe I still haven't seen renfield ;.; Also I vote for you to watch the films they cloned tyrone and the blackening from the films I saw last year (that you haven't seen yet). Ariel was my favourite princess when I was younger, and then tiana came tied many many years down the line. I need to watch nimona, it's such a fun graphic novel. Nope was so meh but yeah, visually stunning and great characterisation noentheless. Ohh I need more saltburn thoughts 👀 I do want to try that one. Was the boy and the heron just that good? Because i feel like it was a crime that it won animation in the golden globes over the spiderman film. I was curious about violent night but reviews are so bad i'm not gonna bother. we tried to watch silent night over christmas and didn't realise it was also an entirely silent film action film and it was so bad, we collectively dnfed it.
I do have to agree Solo was long. I remember getting a bit antsy. Your new goal for 2024 is seeing Renfield 😌 (and also Lisa Frankenstein!!). They Cloned Tyrone and The Blackening are on my list!! My main gripe with Saltburn was the character development kind of gets thrown away at one point. I liked Spiderverse more than The Boy and the Heron but from a technical standpoint I can see why the latter won. Not my favorite Miyazaki film but definitely a “can’t look away” type of story. A silent film action film? 😭
Glad the algorithm recommended this to me. I also enjoyed that you didnt shy away from controversial oppinions (especially The Exorcist: Believers)
Thank you!

yay!
only 139? I watched over 600 HELP
139 is mutiple movies per week, that's not so bad
This is super impressive though!! Do you have a favorite?
I love that I watched this whole thing 😅 I saw Barbie and loved it! And omg I loved Halloween Town as a kid!
Halloweentown slaps lol
