Summary: Age-associated B cells (ABCs) are a heterogeneous B cell subset that express memory B cell markers but are highly proliferative and can differentiate into plasmablasts. Constitutive depletion of CD11c+ ABCs reduced renal pathology, making them an attractive therapeutic target.
