1:11 Calc III student here, this randomly popped up in my homework and I'm like, "I don't freaking remember 😂". Sometimes simple things come back to haunt you. Anyway, that's exactly what I was looking for. If the hypotenuse = X√2, then to make the hypotenuse equal to X, then the legs become X over √2.
