- Notorious Kinahan Cartel gangster Liam Byrne has been extradited to England where he is now in custody facing serious firearms charges.
The Crumlin crime lord who has spent decades at the very head of an organised crime group operating a franchise for the mob, is known as a violent bully with a quick temper.
Nicola speaks with Niall Donald about Byrne, his background and the charges which could see him locked up for a long time in the UK.

You need to start covering our government, it's not just the drug dealer's
Very well said, the governments on an international level should be covered. The Arab world is very very wealthy especially around Dubai, and that region controls a lot of petroleum and so forth. Big big names hiding behind those people, when the Irish authorities go to Dubai, let's hope they arrest the right ones. A lot more going on, only the tip of the iceberg what is presented here.
Based on what information?

Hope Steven Gerrard is gonna be facing some awkward questions...
PLEASE change the cocaine cowboys. Advertise it during the podcast
Delivery is identical in all podcasts for last fortnight, getting irritating, (We Know, We Know,We Know)
Agree 👍
Mugs drugs 🎉😅
FFS, just get on with the story.
I love cocaine
Liam obviously didn't appreciate the long arm of UK police. He will now regret until he is an old guy that imperfection in his criminality....again an excellent post.
Wow it don't pay in the end
It all come to a bad ending.
Fair play this is brilliant
Dosent matter how much u have or your worth if your a bully it means notting even some murderers hate bully's 💯
Stevie G will bail him out 😂😂😂

Loved nicola from back in the day. Shes like a dog with a bone i love all irish crime and it all started with Cocaine Wars Drimnah and Crumlin feud back 2001. I have been following Nicolas work since then. IM ADDICTED keep up the awesome work Kate in Belfast
What a load of boring dribble and assumptions
I love the way the Irish present themselves back and forth on these sites. We have our own
"way of saying things" that isn't taken too seriously.
.
For Christmas? 😂 Why did she reiterate that he would be behind bars for Christmas!
Bill of ladling
That made me chuckle.
Really enjoyed the podcast as usual 😊 how serious where hatchet kavangh and Paul kavangh? Both apparently murdered by the cartel? So I guess bomber knew they were going to be shot? Keep up the good work 😊
I love Nicola, and her podcasts are very interesting, but I sometimes feel to anybody who wasn't from there, they could be misled at how Dublin 12 is being represented. It would appear as if, it is this area, that police are scared to go into, with gutted houses full of gun slinging through the windows. It isn't. Dublin 12 has or had the reputation of being the heart of Dublin's gangland, it isn't. It is not like a run down hopeless project around there at all. The houses and roads are very nice well kept and very house proud. I lived there for twenty years, no problems at all. There will always be a sprinkling of crime families' drugs etc in neighborhoods, but from my recollection they didn't bother anybody at all, unless you became involved with them. Very safe neighborhood . I am not being overly defensive, however, if there are people on these sites from other countries, Dublin 12 would appear as being depicted as this area with burnt out cars and houses and pure mayhem, like what one would see on TV in a gang war. It isn't ghetto type at all. Rest in peace on them all, those victims of those gang situations were not killed in Dublin 12. That boy's brother died at the Regency Hotel. The other boy died in Spain. Very tragic all round. It is a drugs war not a Dublin 12 war.
The comment section on the insta page of the national crime agency post about the extradition had lots of funny comments on it until the NCA turned off the comments.
It all goes back to Gary Hutch and his double cross execution.
Big mistake, second mistake was the feud being taken to Mexican proportions. There is no putting the genie back in the bottle now.
Yep Daniel’s ego fucked everyone, as soon as Gary was clipped everyone was fucked sooner or later.
He should of stayed in Dubai, might have never been pinched.
Maybe I am skeptical by nature, I honestly feel in these cases, these people are only a small proportion of what is really happening and going on. I always feel that there is a lot more to it, big money world wide and corrupt people in power hiding behind them. It must be terrible for his mother, the worry of it, her sister whom she was very close to, died through the other trail, and she did loose her son at a young age to horrific violence. It is so sad for them all. God help her.
How was the feud carried over in to Mexican proportions? Have never heard that segment anywhere.
Starting to get deja vu with these videos.
Another crime committed in the infamous Tablet Street ☕
Your making plenty of money out of misery gards getting nice back hander

@@Lemonbonbon I haven't lived in Ireland for 37 years, however, I did live in Dublin 12 for 20 years. I am writing under freedom of speech without malicious intent. I follow those sites , because I know all the roads and areas around there, Crumlin Rd, Drimnagh side, Crumlin side. From my experience of crime families or as they are purported to be crime families , they don't bother anybody at all, they like everybody else go about their life and mind their own business. They have their own clique, and people don't have to join it. I was never afraid or fearful around there. I wasn't.
@@helendeegan1591 seriously? You should talk to the families living in fear of being burnt out because of so called debts that their sons have run up. Or maybe the children who are neglected every day of their lives because their parents are strung out. These people are leeches on human sufferings. Their big cars, fancy houses, obnoxious labels and Turkey teeth are all bought with blood money. 🙄
@@helendeegan1591 with all due respect if you haven't been in Dublin you don't know what it's like now. Children are used for couriers, vulnerable people are used to hold drugs in their homes. These people are predators, and yes they do threaten to burn vulnerable families out of their houses. I live here.
