But troublemakers in the real world don’t change behind bars as killer Fat Freddie Thompson has proved in recent weeks with his volatile behaviour and ability to fall out with family and friends.
But who else is a prominent figure at Portlaoise Prison and what is their role on the various wings?
Nicola's joined by Niall Donald to talk about the Turkish heroin dealer whose risen through the ranks of influential prisoners, of the television seizures that have pitted Thompson against his fellow lags and about the punishment wing.

The Sunday World is a bit ott in their dramatics and coverage of the same old suspects all the time, it gets boring....but then they have always been well ahead of politicians and lawmakers in exposing the drugs trade kings and runners.

Their is always prison politics, warren is feared by both prisoners and PO and has 2 screws and an ACO with him at all times.
He's always been helpful to me and loved a decent chat . Yeah even the Guv wears a nappy when he goes near him 😅. Imagine him in a ring fighting ..... Pity we won't tho .

I do like these shows etc but both of them sitting trying to talk about head injuries making criminals is totally laughable. It makes pretty much everything else they say unbelievable. A head injury can change a person? No £hit sherlock, not every criminal has had one tho
