One of the greatest intros of all time. So sweet when Artimus and Gary come in. Definitely a Skynyrd Classic from my day. Great lesson.
Nice T-shirt !
You are a great teacher!! Thank you!!
The tone you're getting out of that LP and Plexi is amazing! 🔥🔥
Thanks so much dude. You nailed that! I wasn't able to learn all the parts by ear. Your guitar tone is awesome!
Bro! Your fucking tone is perfect! Its that warm sweet honeydrippin southern fried boogie woogie
Sure is!!
Dude! Spot on! This is how you show people how to play a song and not like the fakes that have the background musci so loud you cant tell if its them playing or not.
Man gotta put that outro lick in there! Plz! Best part of the song
Original Lanyard Skynyrd is 👍, seen them 3 times, once with Marshall Tucker Band and Charlie Daniels.
Damn! 🙌 so glad i stumbled upon this! 💜
Sounds just like Skynyrd!
Thanks for the lesson dude one of the best song ever written 👍

Awesome 😎
Spot on. 👍
Thank you. Just watching you cover Skynyrd songs helps a lot. I love your sound.
David Hollen thanks man! Glad you're finding these useful!
DAMIT man...Wow.....👍👏👍👏🙏🙏
WOW 😲
Awsome
Tone galore! Is that a plexi and 4x12 with greenbacks? The foundation of hard rock
Thanks for teaching the song! Great job on the solo! You nailed it. I love the way Gary Rossington uses common pentatonic licks and turns them into pure magic! 3:55
I slowed it down even more and it's such a cool and melodic solo. Especially Gary's use of open strings and stacking notes. I didn't even notice the open strings until I slowed it down. Very cool solo! and a great one to learn techniques from if you are like me and know the pentatonic well, but cannot make it sound as good as you would like it to sound. Great job of teaching it right!
Nice work frynd......I have my on youtube tribute to SKYNYRD.....I appreciate your work lets keep it alive forever
Gary has said that he was influenced by Paul Kossof
Nice job
Great job, thank you very much! Could you maybe do your version of Gary's end solo from Winterland 1976 performance? That would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you very much !!!
You make a living playing? I’m new to your channel but you are by far the best one that plays like they play!. That’s always Ben me.. I learn just as they play and your the first one according to my ear that really plays it all and as the do!. Lol thank god I found you on here btw your a awesome guitar player
I play just for fun. I make my living as a recording engineer and mixer plus concert sound.
great thanks a lot
Badass

Ryan, thank you so much for this detailed instruction! My favourite LS song (that name is hard to spell!)
Just had an additional thought: it would be nice if you could describe your amp and how it is setup to get the authentic LS sound for this song!
🤘🏻🙂
Thank you for the videos any way you could do the ending solo for Tuesday's Gone? Thanks
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
uaau, parabéns aqui do Brasil, faz mais, That Smell, Gimme Back my Bullets, Searching ;)

Great sound and tone! What pedal are you using with your Marshall?
No pedals. Amp is up around 7 or 8 so that's all EL34 power tube crunch.
Huge help, can you get to sweet little missy & things going on
How do you record te guitar?
Shure SM7 microphone into an API 512c mic pre into Protools. I sync my audio and video in Protools and then put the clips together in iMovie
What settings do I need for this sound please?
Well that's my guitar directly into the amp. It's all power tube distortion happening through a 4-12. The Xotic SL Drive is a pretty good pedal to use with a clean amp. I have one that sounds great into my Bassman for this sort of tone.
AFD100?
No. It's a stock 1974 50 watt Marshall JMP.
@@RyanWilliamsMusic wow, that's even cooler.
