Watching Umishos happy chaos is like watching a magician at work and I love every second of it. She's unbelievably gifted with HC, and it's beyond entertaining watching her work her magic.
Exactly! The amount of HC players I see who just spam curse and clone while using ATR from full screen is pain. As a HC main it's quite frankly depressing.
The skill it takes to use him compared to other characters (I'm looking at every giovanna main and every sol main) makes it more reasonable for him to be good.

@@kingd3799 The main guy I play with mains Pot and Goldlewis, so most of the time he's in my face especially with how good he is at timing the flick on pot, so I've had to adapt into a crackhead rushdown Axl
They weren't sure if 6s or something like that would kill, so they wanted to avoid reseting back to neutral and giving Leffen a chance to steal the round.

@@Weeb1367 It was pretty bad during XRD. They weren't any less of assholes. The game was balanced horrifically and the fanbase gave them too many excuses. That aside, I wish STRIVE was at least unique. I wish it took what Guilty Gear was, redesigned it to make it simpler, and brought back all the cool factor that made Guilty gear awesome. Instead, since hundreds of thousands of whiny assholes neglected the genre for 2 decades, STRIVE is "one of the most interesting fighting games" when there have been a lot of fighting games that do what STRIVE does and MORE in the past. So now, the only remaining parts of Guilty Gear? The most obnoxious parts that people thought were a little unnecessary in the first place and all the factors that made the series unique and interesting are either butchered or gone and replaced with NOTHING to boot, just so people like LEFFEN can jack themselves off at night, thinking they're "the bestest Guilty Gear player ever" while they'd get stomped in older Guilty gear. Cause honestly? STRIVE is a game that is made for made for the type of person LEFFEN is deep down. That is the type of game it is. It's there to make people feel special, take the easy way out, lie to both the community and it's self, be obnoxious and volatile, among other things. There were rarely any games that encouraged player expression. XRD was the last one and it even kind of toned down that factor quite a bit. Now? There are none. People seem to think that because there's a "lot of something", it defines the quality. Just because a lot of fighting games are coming out, does not mean they are meeting up to certain qualities. A lot of them vary only slightly from each other. Even KOF has become "more grounded" and more like every modern fighting game where it's taking as few risks as possible. When you take as few risks as possible, I want people's tongues to be chopped off for saying "variety". Cause without that? There IS no variety. People aren't super jumping over shoryukens as much as they use to. And most fighting games are becoming like the most base fighting game, Street Fighter, while Street Fighter is the only thing bringing something unique to the table. And that's just sad.
