Since I have nothing to say about Happy Chaos gameplay I want to appreciate the incredible sound design for his gun. It still feels like a gun but has an addition otherworldly feel

Now that you say it, yeah the gun sound design is really cool. It is a "gun" sound, weird, and somehow satisfying (not for me when I have to block against that though).

His HC is by far the safest, most consistent type of game play. His zato was the same, boring as hell. I still hate the character, but I miss umishos HC, so fun to watch

When Johnny is top tier it's "ok" since he's cool to watch and incredibly hard to play, when Izanami is top tier that's "ok" because she's hot and hard to play, but when Testament/Arakune/Elph/HC are top tier it's very much not ok

@@erikb4407 No, picking the strongest character that matches your style of gameplay is exactly what you should do if you are serious about competing.
People will find any reason to complain about stuff (There are also cases of people complaining about someone picking low tiers against them and how that's disrespectful etc.) There is no way to avoid that kind of stuff completely either way.
Although it is true that characters which are seen as lame (boring to watch and/or play against) often receive the most hate, but that's usually independent of them being strong or weak. Ultimately those existing is the games fault though, not yours, and any reasonable person will understand that.

@@mothuwah most definitely he's still the strongest. I don't envy the devs for making a character that becomes top tier on one mechanic. Hard to balance, which I think is why the skill ceiling is so high
Huh? Asuka is undoubtedly the hardest character to pick up. Chaos is not that hard. Also, several characters have poor defensive options. These are not excuses to justify how insanely strong he is. When you’re HC you build meter constantly. It’s so easy for him to have resources because his offense is so potent. Plus we now have an extra defensive option in deflect shield. So yeah Leffen is carried even if he’s already a decent player. There’s no excuse for this character to be as good as he is for THREE seasons in a row.

Any button being safe needs to go. Remove a fraction of that and nobody will play HC anymore, not even Leffen.
