Hi Chamel, you could leave it in the Gallery in Procreate and just drag and drop the picture. It will go in on one track. Click on the track you just dropped in, select track and ungroup. Each element will be on its own track. Thank you for this very nice tutorial. I didn’t mean to poke my nose in on your tutorial because it’s very kind of you to do this for others. Hopefully, this information will assist you in future tutorials you make.
Excellent! This youtube has quickly given a PD newbie my first real understanding of Perform, Flip screen, anchor point use, sizing and more! I've spent a lot of time in several dozen other PD authors but there's in my view about 80-90% duplication in value across the board. This taught me So Much More so quickly about how "to actually do the stuff" Bless you and thank you! I'try to order then download and activate your brush set next. Seriously, the skating penguin youtube is HIGH VALUE.
When you drag and drop dreams places the track wherever the play head is, so if you place the play head at the 0 (beginning) it will drop at the beginning.
I love your art! It's simple yet cute. I noticed that someone else already mentioned that you can drag a whole group over which saves a lot of time. I think that the reason it didn't go to zero when you dragged it over is because your play head wasn't at zero, but I haven't tested that out. Another thing you can do is have things move together by grouping them. If for example you wanted the wing to move with the body as well as rotate, just group those two items together and then rotate the group instead of just the body. Another really nice way to animate objects is to use the warp feature. I think the scarf would have looked awesome if you used the warp feature instead of rotate. Of course you could combine those features as well. Keep those tutorials coming!!😃
good video. Hopefully, later, this app will be more intergraded with Procreate and have fewer bugs. IMHO. This is so time consuming watching You Tube videos to learn how to use Dreams. The learning curve is so frustrating 😤 😤
I think more features will be added in the future. As with everything that we want to learn, it takes a time investment! Thanks so much for your comment
@chameldoesart I absolutely loved your tutorial, including the parts where you made mistakes! Those moments helped me learn the most. I have Savant Syndrome, which means my brain can copy any drawing perfectly. Not many artists like me because of that, but I'm a nice guy and into more artsy stuff now, so I'd love to collaborate once I improve my skills. We can help our channels if you like. I do exact DaVinci replicas. THANK YOU FOR YOUR VIDEO! COME BACK WITH MORE is what I meant!

@@drawfromheart No, unfortunately that is not a function yet! Hopefully in the future they will add more options. At this point I think it is better to create your assets in Procreate and then animate them in Procreate dreams, unless you are doing flipbook. Flipbook mode in Dreams is much more robust!
Nice animation …but I think you could save a lot of time by importing the whole of you procreate picture in one hit …then it will put all the layers in on place for you ….maybe you should do a few tutorials first :) …thanks for your animation …

Thank you, I had another person tell me this but I didn't know about the ungroup part. Thank you so much, that will save a lot of time.
@@chameldoesart You’re very welcome. You’re such a good artist . I enjoy your channel because each video, I learn something new from you.
@@doodlingdebbie1 You are too kind, Thank you
The nice part about it being grouped if that you can select all those layers and animate it completely, after animating each individual layer.
@@ChrisArtsTube Yes, I haven't even scratched the surface on what this program can do yet. Thanks!

This. You can also drag and drop the whole project from the gallery
Thank you this will be a time saving tip.
I will try that next time. Thanks!

You can import the whole file then click the group and convert to tracks
Thank you
How do you import the whole file?
@@Tonabillity I demonstrated how to do it in the video. I just split screen my ipad and dragged it into Procreate Dreams
Thank you for your sharing video. I love your animation . I wanted to know how many frames and duration, please ?thank you
This animation was 24 frames per second and 30 second duration. Hope that helps and thanks so much for watching!
I use it on Ipad9 and it works for me
Hallo, so cool, danke ❤️
You are very welcome, thank you for watching and your kind comments!
Have you animated a moving wheelchair
No, I haven't but I think the performance mode would work perfectly for that..
🥰🥰
Can you believe that there are knuckleheads clamming that ToonSquid is better??? 🤷🏾
I think the performance mode is what makes Procreate Dreams stand out.
@@chameldoesart It’s definitely a game changer!!👌🏾
Hi, what iPad are you using? I just purchased iPad 9th gen and I’m curious if that’s enough to work with procreate dreams. Thanks
I am using an ipad 8th gen so you are good to go! Procreate Dreams will work fine!

Is scribble working in procreate dreams?
not sure what you mean by scribble
If you want to make circular, then just draw a circle and hold, it will transform to correct shape. Is this feature there?
@@drawfromheartI hear that in future updates you can do quick shapes. I’m not positive since I heard from someone else
