Rosemary you did an awesome job! That pillow is just darling ❤ I have used that hot fabric glue for those types of projects but the stitching tape is a great idea. TFS
I like it when you use metallic looking paint! Very pretty and the acorns with the cutting board is a great little project! I really laughed when you said you were gonna do hair and makeup on the decorative board. 🤭
Hi Rosemary, I really enjoyed this video. Loved the gnome pillow. I have been following you for over a year & have a question. Have you ever painted a lampshade? If so, is it ok to use chalk paint. Let me know. Thanks
Hi Elisa! Thanks! So glad you liked the Neutral Fall Decor DIYS especially the pillow! I have not painted a lampshade and I guess it depends on the material on the shade. Fabric paint may be an option but again I guess it depends.🍂❤️
I am #1 🥰 I was watching 3 straight hours of skateboarding videos when I recd your alert and clicked on to your's right away. So much of m fall decor is packed in storage and I was so happy to see these DYI because to remake fall decor it will not break the bank. I am presently redoing my kitchen. The previous owner had it renovated but I moved in and started cooking but never decorated it but so much. I have always wanted a coffee bar area set up and never had one and I want to make your cutting board with the acorns. I hope I can find them. Last year in the Target Dollar section I found a beautiful little ceramic white pumpkin with a lid and a tiny spoon. I believe it is for jam but I am going to use it for sugar. Y Mom passed away July 2021 and my siblings didn't want anything from my Mom's kitchen. The kitchen was always my Mom andy favorite room of the house. My Mom has breD boards dating back to when her grandmother made noodles. I am thrilled to see your bread board idea. Before I forget regarding those die cut leaves, owls, butterflies etc, did you know mam that if you soak them in warm water from about 15 to 30 minutes they come apart in layers. Once they start separating, take them out of the water, lightly pull them apart. Lat them onto a tea towel (not terry cloth) and wait them down with a book to absorb the water and to flatten them out to dry. They can be sed on note cards then or other crafts and you get more bang for your buck. I am glad I recd your alert to these fun and beautiful decorations. My birthday is Wednesday. I turn 60. My Mom called me her Fall Baby. I grew up in farm country with cows and chickens and horses and my Mom would hand me pretty leaves in my stroller. She took me for wonderful walks and fresh air. Blessings to you, Rebekah in Virginia
