This is awesome. I was disappointed at the limited articulation in the arms, and this kit fixes that
I'm putting together this kit right now. I really like the nice thick, quality plastic. The blue shoulder hinges are a bit too tight, but that's better than them being too loose. I stuck my needlenose pliers in the hole and roatated them a few times to widen the hole and now the rotation is butter-smooth.
Nonnef's stuff is SO GOOD, it's just insane
very good upgrade kit. I ordered the blue and red elbows to go with it for options. However one of the blue elbows was not sized correctly during molding and needed shaved quite a bit before it fit together. May want to check into that. It does work after being shaved down tho.
I was a little late buying this kit (I like to order multiple kits to save some money on shipping) but I'm quite pleased with it. Pointblank felt incomplete without his spoiler wing!

Seeing this simple upgrade exists really makes me think that someone in Hasbro was like, "Look, I know that the arm kibble hinders the poseability, but we _need_ to make the front grill on the car mode look exactly like that." 🗿🗿🗿

Just got the kit today and upgraded him. A quick and easy upgrade. But the blue plastic doesn't quite match the blue on the figure; it's a little too bright. Other than that, great kit. Cant wait for Peacemaker.
I just ended up paring that middle spoiler gun piece down to just the 5mm peg hole to glue onto the back of the engine gun.

This kit is great.. although.. I would say this kit should have gone 1 step further and also replace the forearms and hands to add wrist articulation.

I cannot get the arm panels on that oversized elbow peg for the life of me. ☹️☹️
I dunno if I have "nippers." Would a nail file work to "sand" them down?
Sure. Whatever you want to use to get the to the level you're happy with.
Do you need the new shoulder parts to use the new elbows?
The extra elbows are only alternate colors for the kit, not an independent item.
Question if i buy the one elbows upgrade do i get the entire upgrades for the arms?
The "extra elbow" pieces is only the elbow piece in a different color. You still need the the "full kit" option.

I have some of their other kits and I love them, but I don't love this one.
I like the changes to the arms, but I don't understand the three piece spoiler assembly.
It looks good when its all together, but why do you need to add a third part that includes a 5mm port for Peacemaker?
Could it not have been just one piece with a port for the gun?
And now I have one piece that I have to hide if I want to show the vehicle without the gun, or I just want him in robot mode.
This has caused a problem that didn't exist without the kit.
I wish nonnef was easily available in Japan, but their Japanese site is a joke.
Too bad there's no option for a toy accurate head.
Can we please get a new head, this "Rebirth" head sucks so much. I much prefer the Japanese/toy head, but nobody is making one and neither is anyone on shapeways.
I bought thus upgrade kit a month and upon installing it, I realized you intentionally didn’t the show the front of the car mode in this video as your kit doesn’t include any replacement parts for the front grill.
Not a good way to do business in my book.
Actually, he DID show the front end of the vehicle mode, and pretty much every other angle except for the straight on, rear end view maybe.
You should probably watch it again, and then come back and apologize for being rude and wrong.
He even lists what is included in this upgrade set, at the beginning of the video. Nonnef has always been up front in what EXACTLY is included in his kits, so you really don't need to try and "call him out" on his business practices, because it just makes you look petty and also a little stupid.
I am sure that you won't bother to watch this video again and see that you are 💯% wrong with your accusations, and I would imagine that you also lack the character to admit YOUR mistakes and issue Nonnef an apology... but please, I encourage you to prove me wrong and take ownership of your false comments.
It makes me so sad how horribly designed this toy is. I had to sand one peg for about an hour untill it fit inside the hole of the hood. Bot hood pieces have severely stressed holes now where the pegs of the black pieces fit in.
