A Story to share Just like this : Until my class 7th I was one of the weakest students in Maths (scoring around 30-40 out of 90) , my basics wernt that strong and I use to hate Multiplication Tables and that made me fear from maths alot. And coz of that Ieven wasnt able to focus on other subjects. Even my classmates and teachers use to think that am only decent and more a talkitive student In class 8th , my parents thought I should join tutions , atleast a maths tution I went there , Mam was so kind , I became better at maths and in the mid term exams I scored 86/90 , teacher was shocked , classmates were shocked and that changed everyone perspective !!
Same story almost. I became a Math Science topper in my 8th standard after I joined tuition from a retired mechanical engineer. He used to tell just the basics to everyone and let us do all the book reading ourselves individually and problems by our own. School Teachers often don't know that their job is to mentor the student and not read out the book for them and make them copy solutions to their notebooks. I also gained respect for NCERT Math Textbooks. They are written very well.

Don't worry in placement they will know how great your package will be. cse in nit trichy is far better than non circuit/cse in any iit even iit bombay
I joined a gym last month and I sometimes refrain from telling people initially that I am from an IIT, because then they kind of start seeing me as someone else/somewhat elite and the conversations I do after that seem less balanced. But then at the gym, someone asked me where I did I graduate from, and after telling that guy I'm from an IIT, the next time I went to the gym, almost everyone around me knew I was from an IIT.

I never judge someone on their past and present achievements like if he hasn't did something great that doesn't mean he is dumb , according to me its just about his or her interest and the hardwork and u can't predict someone's future on past achievements and all so the society shouldn't be that judgemental
I'd say, people mostly succumb to mental heuristics and those heuristics are highly influenced by stereotypes they have grown up with..we can't say or control people about judging someone.. what we can do is make them familiar to the "real" reality. And videos like these..which slaughters the stereotypes are a great catalyst in doing that.

I am like a student who has changed school quite frequently up till class 6. Earlier when I was in school , Rarely anybody knew me apart from my classmates. But when I topped my school n got NIT , my junior school guys take time to meet me ,they just posts it on their status / story. And others say like " wow ! You met Rohit ! " . @@johnmoxley4264 @Nibir Mahanta NIT ka CSE / ECE is better than IIT ka chemical n metallurgy. I got metallurgy in IIT-ISM but rejected that seat. Coz I got ECE in NIT. First 15000 students get IIT, next 15000 get NIT. when u will see the marks difference it's just 10-20 marks. that means 3-4 chapters. So aapke hissab se IITians ko kehna chahiye " NITian bekaar hote hain kyonki unhone woh 4 chapter nhi kiye jo maine kr liye the." LOL 😑 . Many of the NITians have rejected IITs coz they got better branch in NIT.

I was very weak in maths .Even I failed in maths in class 4 but then something miracle happened and I started enjoying maths and it became my favourite subject.I got 99 in 10th and 95 in 12th. Ok I know marks can't tell about mine maths skill but really I love maths.my old friends got shocked when they knew about my scores in 10th and 12th

in am going to take admission in iit kanpur mech this year, at the time of preparation i generally didn't moved out ,like i avoided family functions, family picnic etc and my relatives thought that i am very boring and nobody took me seriously but as the result came and they got to know about my result, everyone's perception towards me changed they started giving my examples to their kids, everyone started praising me....................it was like apna time aa gaya😀😅😂
I have Changed 4 Schools, 3 in My Hometown and this is my 4th School . I'm here again the topper.I use to go Classes and there too I'm amongst the Toppers. I have experienced all this, They use to call me, "Aap" "Aapko" etc. it's very Breathtaking for me. And I'm preparing for Jee(2024).😊

This was important for me. I never shared my board marks or anything with anyone but I observed that when I told my marks they are like padakhu padakhu. So yes, you are right. There is a fine line between being vocal about our achievements and being boastful and u clearly explained it. I used to think too that how do these things matter to others? But now u opened my eyes. Ah yes relatable. I don't share my marks with others when not asked. But if they ask then i have to reveal it. And then they be calling me bookworm and stuff. Not only do I swiftly avoid these people, I also get more girls than these losers who spend months simping for girls out their league.
Ya , it's true , I experienced this in my college days , in 11th I was average student , teachers was not knowing my existence , but as my 12th started , I topped mock test from that day everyone got to know my presence and my name , but in my family everyone including my mom thought that I was poor in studies bcz I scored 70 % in my 10th , but I scored 93.87 % in 12th from next day , everyone was started giving respect and asking my suggestion .

Please get back on track soon. I fucked up pretty badly. I am one of those rare ones that did OP preparation in 11th (I was in the top weekend batch at FIITJEE main center) and flunked my entire 12th class thanks to COVID.
This thing happened to me when I was giving my wbjee exam The boy sitting next to me didn't even notice me during the first half of the exam but later in the break when I told him about my jee percentile his remarks where completely change and he asked for help in physics and chemistry paper
One thing I have learnt that in life being happy is the most important thing...yes its not possible to be happy all the time... sometimes we feel sad because many things ...but trying to live a happy life should be the main goal. I think most important achievement of someone's life is when he understand the real meaning of life... not marks , ranks.. money ...fame...
I've never achieved something great in my past I was a class failure I scored 38% in my class 6th and 27% in my class 7th , unwantingly I had to change my school though then I got 85% in class 10th boards and 87% in class 12 . I never attended any jee coaching or such so that was for sure that I won't be able to clear jee mains as for now lest I am selected in VIT for cse and pretty happy for this.🙃
I used to remain in top three since beginning of my school but never got the first position in my class. When I was in 9th standard, I got first position and my classmates started to recognise me as the most intelligent student in 10th standard. I also heard them calling me 'Maths Wizard' because I always got full marks in this subject. Now, I am NTSE Scholar and aiming for a good IIT.
My whole life went until now just to proove this mindset which you r explaining in video ..like u even I m a passionate dancer and a great painter but just took jee mains advance which is my second priority in life studied from well known institute and on the way for giving advance 2021 .... ❤️❤️ God knows...the rest

There's a small catch here: Notice who doesn't treat you well before you flex. It's important to know who would easily give you up once you lose everything you have. Those are the ones to be avoided 'cuz having no friends is still better than having fake ones :)
Some average student got good job not tell brilliant students I am average student but my aim is iit I got 81%in 10th but 12 th result will declare in 2021 without exam

I was in 7th class and schools just reopened after COVID. When the schools reopened we had to take the half yearly examination and the maximum marks was decreased to 50. I got 15 in maths I and 23 in maths II. After half a year I got in 8th standard, worked really hard and took half yearly examinations once again. Surprisingly I got 77/80 and my teacher was shocked. She asked me whether I was attending the classes or not cause she thought that I cheated in my exams which I didn't. Btw it was all thanks to my father who taught me. It was him who helped me get 5th position in the half yearly and also I study in CMS Gomti Nagar Extension Branch
He left his job which he got from iit delhi , and wasted on seat of IITs by taking it with sc cateogry rank .. If he wants to pursue RUclips then why does he left his job and wasted one seat of iit ??
Because he can, and it is his choice not yours, I want to be a gamer as well as a mathematics teacher in a USA university in future, but that doesn't mean that I don't wanna prepare for IIT, it is my choice that I want to build my brain and enhance my hardworking capabilities, so I am studying for IIT, I will go there, and then I will do what ever I want for my future, so If you think it is a waste of seat, than snatch it from me by scoring better marks than me, If you can't that's not my problem.

NIT K 2011 batch Grabbed 3rd highest package in campus. In a wedding ceremony one of my relative (whom I probably met for the first time) asked my profession. I replied that I work for this company. Uncle: Private hai? Achha koi baat nahi mehnat karo sarkari naukri lag jayega. I told him chacha I am happy with my job. He says are pehle hi haar kyun maan rahe ho.. Koshish karo kam se kam daroga me to nikal hi jayega. Furthermore he gave a 10 min unnecessary speech for motivating me to crack daroga exam.
I got NIT TRICHY tho the branch is Architecture but I was already super excited about this until a relative came and my mum told em about it and they asked me "Oo achha Tamil Nadu me hai, AICTE approved hai?" I was be like bro duniya me kitne jaahil tere jaise aur hain?
Class 10th -98% Class 12th- 96% Iit Delhi with 12th Still i feel it a lot more times that I am nothing and have done nothing since there's always at iit a feeling that nobody respect you because they are really in some nice thoughts of themselves being in higher branch and not just that..since you can see that i had been 10th and 12th topper in my district i had rarely engaged myself in other activities such as singing dancing and stage speaking...so i feel there's a lot of guilt at iit for not being an achiever at these places...apart from this sometimes I don't understand certain words used by my friends just because I use less of social media and started using it only after jee advanced...so here again i feel myself just a substitute for my friends whenever they are bored or something...so might be this outer world thinks that if you are Iitian you must be happy and proud but i really think opposite since the competition inside is much more than jee advanced...

Yes Happened to me Quite often, I'm a naturally introverted guy who just don't get involved with people and my peers just thought for a long time that yeah he's just a random guy. But one day our School conducted a PTM in which all my classmates and their parents were sitting to attend it and the teacher announced my name as the Topper of the class and also that I have clear NTSE and olympiads. I wasn't expecting that to happen but I was happy But the moment that happened uske bad to bhaao milne laga, they wanted to ask me advices, sit next to me and always involved me with all kinds of debates I am also a state level athlete so there also when they knew that I'm that good in academics too, the energy they were giving me totally changed, I agree with you brother.
Bhaiya right now I'm a jee aspirant but yes sometimes when I meet with some of relatives and cousins. They give a different behaviour like ye advance wala Banda hai, bahut padhta hai etc etc. Sometimes I fell good and sometimes I feel sarcastic.
List of Toppers in our class is always dynamic😅...sometimes I find my name in that list but I really don't think being topper is always important🙄 but still I always desire for 1st rank😂

Definitely man! I just passed my 12th ( more like my qualification is in process as our exams has been cancelled) I was among top students in my previous school where I studied till 10th. But when I get into another school for my further studies.... people were like who's he even teachers didn't took seriously. I stop talking and interacting. Just wishing to one day get out of here but kabhi chance hi nahi mil paya to showcase my talent because of this pandemic and all. Actually I don't know how to showcase the talent as opportunities were less also I just thought doing these things are waste of time and that was my biggest mistake .
till my 9th class I was an average student and my class topper never talked me even if i speak to her first and my 9th class result was just 78 percentage .On the result day i was sad but at that time time I made my mind that i will for sure ,score a good score in my 10th standard and I scored 97 percentage in my boards and I was the topper in my 10th class and 3rd position in whole city .I truely feel the change in the attitude of my relatives and that class topper . NOW i m in 12th lets see what happens this time .

Until my class 7th I was one of the weakest students in Maths (scoring around 30-40 out of 90) , my basics wernt that strong and I use to hate Multiplication Tables and that made me fear from maths alot. And coz of that Ieven wasnt able to focus on other subjects.
Even my classmates and teachers use to think that am only decent and more a talkitive student
In class 8th , my parents thought I should join tutions , atleast a maths tution
I went there , Mam was so kind , I became better at maths and in the mid term exams I scored 86/90 , teacher was shocked , classmates were shocked and that changed everyone perspective !!

Same story almost. I became a Math Science topper in my 8th standard after I joined tuition from a retired mechanical engineer.
He used to tell just the basics to everyone and let us do all the book reading ourselves individually and problems by our own.
School Teachers often don't know that their job is to mentor the student and not read out the book for them and make them copy solutions to their notebooks.
I also gained respect for NCERT Math Textbooks. They are written very well.

I joined a gym last month and I sometimes refrain from telling people initially that I am from an IIT, because then they kind of start seeing me as someone else/somewhat elite and the conversations I do after that seem less balanced. But then at the gym, someone asked me where I did I graduate from, and after telling that guy I'm from an IIT, the next time I went to the gym, almost everyone around me knew I was from an IIT.

I'd say, people mostly succumb to mental heuristics and those heuristics are highly influenced by stereotypes they have grown up with..we can't say or control people about judging someone.. what we can do is make them familiar to the "real" reality. And videos like these..which slaughters the stereotypes are a great catalyst in doing that.

First 15000 students get IIT, next 15000 get NIT. when u will see the marks difference it's just 10-20 marks. that means 3-4 chapters. So aapke hissab se IITians ko kehna chahiye " NITian bekaar hote hain kyonki unhone woh 4 chapter nhi kiye jo maine kr liye the." LOL 😑 . Many of the NITians have rejected IITs coz they got better branch in NIT.

This was important for me. I never shared my board marks or anything with anyone but I observed that when I told my marks they are like padakhu padakhu. So yes, you are right. There is a fine line between being vocal about our achievements and being boastful and u clearly explained it. I used to think too that how do these things matter to others? But now u opened my eyes. Ya , it's true , I experienced this in my college days , in 11th I was average student , teachers was not knowing my existence , but as my 12th started , I topped mock test from that day everyone got to know my presence and my name , but in my family everyone including my mom thought that I was poor in studies bcz I scored 70 % in my 10th , but I scored 93.87 % in 12th from next day , everyone was started giving respect and asking my suggestion .

I've never achieved something great in my past I was a class failure I scored 38% in my class 6th and 27% in my class 7th , unwantingly I had to change my school though then I got 85% in class 10th boards and 87% in class 12 . I never attended any jee coaching or such so that was for sure that I won't be able to clear jee mains as for now lest I am selected in VIT for cse and pretty happy for this.🙃

There's a small catch here: Notice who doesn't treat you well before you flex. It's important to know who would easily give you up once you lose everything you have. Those are the ones to be avoided 'cuz having no friends is still better than having fake ones :)

I was in 7th class and schools just reopened after COVID. When the schools reopened we had to take the half yearly examination and the maximum marks was decreased to 50. I got 15 in maths I and 23 in maths II. After half a year I got in 8th standard, worked really hard and took half yearly examinations once again. Surprisingly I got 77/80 and my teacher was shocked. She asked me whether I was attending the classes or not cause she thought that I cheated in my exams which I didn't. Btw it was all thanks to my father who taught me. It was him who helped me get 5th position in the half yearly and also I study in CMS Gomti Nagar Extension Branch
He left his job which he got from iit delhi , and wasted on seat of IITs by taking it with sc cateogry rank ..

Oh this is so true ......i was the first ntse as well as hssc scholar from my school and got 97 percent in 10th ...and during my preparation days people treated me so badly and once i got selected and cracked it with flying colours everyone's behaviour changed so drastically ...i m still shocked to see that ...they used to ask which iit will u land in...tumhe to asaani se mil hi jayegi top iits and all ...but that wasnt shocking for my parents bcz they had seen my hardwork as well as passion for studies..i know u will think that i must be bragging but i study just bcz i love to do that ..my whole room has books and books everywhere ...that is why i always topped in my class as well😊

In a wedding ceremony one of my relative (whom I probably met for the first time) asked my profession. I replied that I work for this company.
Uncle: Private hai? Achha koi baat nahi mehnat karo sarkari naukri lag jayega. I told him chacha I am happy with my job. He says are pehle hi haar kyun maan rahe ho.. Koshish karo kam se kam daroga me to nikal hi jayega. Furthermore he gave a 10 min unnecessary speech for motivating me to crack daroga exam.

Still i feel it a lot more times that I am nothing and have done nothing since there's always at iit a feeling that nobody respect you because they are really in some nice thoughts of themselves being in higher branch and not just that..since you can see that i had been 10th and 12th topper in my district i had rarely engaged myself in other activities such as singing dancing and stage speaking...so i feel there's a lot of guilt at iit for not being an achiever at these places...apart from this sometimes I don't understand certain words used by my friends just because I use less of social media and started using it only after jee advanced...so here again i feel myself just a substitute for my friends whenever they are bored or something...so might be this outer world thinks that if you are Iitian you must be happy and proud but i really think opposite since the competition inside is much more than jee advanced...

Yes Happened to me Quite often, I'm a naturally introverted guy who just don't get involved with people and my peers just thought for a long time that yeah he's just a random guy. But one day our School conducted a PTM in which all my classmates and their parents were sitting to attend it and the teacher announced my name as the Topper of the class and also that I have clear NTSE and olympiads. I wasn't expecting that to happen but I was happy
But the moment that happened uske bad to bhaao milne laga, they wanted to ask me advices, sit next to me and always involved me with all kinds of debates
I am also a state level athlete so there also when they knew that I'm that good in academics too, the energy they were giving me totally changed, I agree with you brother.

Bhaiya right now I'm a jee aspirant but yes sometimes when I meet with some of relatives and cousins.
They give a different behaviour like ye advance wala Banda hai, bahut padhta hai etc etc. Sometimes I fell good and sometimes I feel sarcastic.

Definitely man! I just passed my 12th ( more like my qualification is in process as our exams has been cancelled) I was among top students in my previous school where I studied till 10th. But when I get into another school for my further studies.... people were like who's he even teachers didn't took seriously. I stop talking and interacting. Just wishing to one day get out of here but kabhi chance hi nahi mil paya to showcase my talent because of this pandemic and all. Actually I don't know how to showcase the talent as opportunities were less also I just thought doing these things are waste of time and that was my biggest mistake .

till my 9th class I was an average student and my class topper never talked me even if i speak to her first and my 9th class result was just 78 percentage .On the result day i was sad but at that time time I made my mind that i will for sure ,score a good score in my 10th standard and I scored 97 percentage in my boards and I was the topper in my 10th class and 3rd position in whole city .I truely feel the change in the attitude of my relatives and that class topper . NOW i m in 12th lets see what happens this time .
That's true and I also experience this things usually when I meet new people they thought that I have not done anything that consider me as a valuable person but when they know my academic grades and IIT JEE score their reaction change instantly like a instant Maggie 😅
Let me tell you that I am from a private engineering college named Dr. B.C.Roy Engineering College, Durgapur. So, I remember those moments when my friends showed me huge respects for getting placed. Though I am not contnuting it today and I am searching for a new ones.
