My sister had the house and a school house. My husband still has a Ferris wheel. All our nieces and nephews have played with it and now our daughter. It's about 40 years old.
i had that play house it was my very favorite toy back then, i spent hours playing with it , watching this really takes me back to my childhood.
I never recalled the Fisher-Price figures referred to as Little People,but I was always enamored of them as a kid.What was so great was that the possibilities were endless as kids just used their own imaginations then more than this generation.
These are not playskool weeble wobbles and they dont fall down. These are fisher price play family and they DO fall down.
When I was little all I wanted were Fisher Price toys. I had the bubble saxophone, the jet, the tape recorder, and the Little People swimming pool.
A great commercial from 1970! I don't think it was advertising Weebles, but rather Fisher-Price "Little People".

I had that same garage! I don't think I had the other toys. I know I had the school bus. I loved my Fisher Price toys.
I had the garage. I got it for Christmas when I was 3. Those weren't Weebles... there was no wobbling and no falling down.
I really & truly love Fisher Price's Play Family House and the airport playsets!
I had the FO little people’s house & school bus. Also the puppy that was by the jet.
We had these at my school.
My brother had the Fisher Price school with Little People at the time.
My Brother had the Fisher Price Garage, which we both played with. I think I may have had the Fisher Price Barn with animals which we both enjoyed together. Unfortunately, I never had the Fisher Price House. Thanks for the happy memories:). Santa Claus would still get millions of orders from "good children" today, if these Fisher Price Toys still existed in 2017.
The castle is still the best!
These aren't "Weebles wobbles but they don'[t fall down" toys. They were made by Romper Room. These are Fisher Price wannabe weebles that DO fall down, that's why they needed holes for there peg bottom bodies to fit in. They were still better than any tech toys of today.

Oh, man...I LOVED these toys! the Fisher Price Garage later to double-duty as a base/fort for my Jawas durring my Star Wars years. Wish the Castle was in this commercial. You know, I think I'd do cartwheels if I could find a classic Fisher Price Castle playset. That trapdoor...and the secret room behind the stairs...that was a GREAT toy. All the Fisher Price stuff was better back then...

just to clarify .. little people were made by Fisher Price.. Hasbro rolled out the Weebles as a competition.. but, hey all good childhood memories, eh?
