We’ve been using these for a couple of years. They are simply wonderful!
Just got mine today.
I absolutely love them
They are awsome. I never expected this level of quality for call from them. Running earbuds OK but never business call. They rock.
@@ebpman the people who complain about the quality don't understand the purpose/ function.
They want it for music too. Unfortunately The Technology does not work like that
@@marekgenerowicz4401 true.
Thanks for the helpful review. Were you using a different mic when looking at the decibel meter 7:26 on the sound test and then switch mics when you snapped your fingers? Or is there a noise cancelling switch you were pressing?
Thanks for the video! Do you find any issues using these while wearing glasses? I worry the eyeglass temples would sit on the head in the same area as the headset?
thank you very much for this video please tell how we can compare this shokz to the sennheiser momentum 3 in term of sound quality, clarity and the accurate sound thank you
EPMAN! Thanks Much !.......
The filtering out of noise through a microphone is horrible on these, which I thought they would be great. I was ecstatic to purchase these and then I saw this review and I will not get them because of all the sound that goes through the mic.
Is there much difference than the first OpenComm?
Does it work for gaming on a ps5 or xbox?
I would like to switch from 1 to 2, just for the mute button, missing this so much working with them whole day on meetings. But not so easy to sell them for a realistic price.
I moved recently and cleaned out my hardware. My experience is people do not value what you sell, hence they are not willing to pay a decent price. My impression is they just wanna buy cheap instead of fulfilling requirements they have.
Ebay kept suggesting I'd lower the price a bit each time.
If you give it for free they storm your house...
I think first to see if someone I know can benefit from the stuff lingering around unused, if not offer it to market for half the price, and if even that is too much put my stuff unapologetically in the recycling center.
So that's the trajectory for my OpenComm while I enjoy my OpenComm2.
I bought the OpenComm after hearing your review. They are super light, provide a strong transmission of human voice and their noise canceling is so good that lifting the mic is almost like mute. I've connected it with my phone, and with my PC through a Jabra Link380 BT dongle (together with other devices).
Yet I was interested in the possible improvement in sound, the mute button that really assures me 100% no comment is heard inadvertently on the other side of a call, the boom mic on the right (as does my Jabra Evolve2 85) and the possibility of firmware upgrades. I just hope one day lifting the boom up will automatically mute the mic (as in, yes... my Jabra's), it's so easy and comes so natural.
First impression after unboxing suggests a better sound.
This is honestly the most inobtrusive headset around. You really do not feel any weight or pressure wearing them. And they do not heat up your ears (as my J...).
So much thanks for your reviews letting us hear how they sound like in different situations!
Follow up after some days with the OpenComm 2: sound has improved a lot!
I currently have the open run I believe that's the name and I really like them when I'm at work but it gets really loud sometimes and people I'm talking to can't hear me so I ordered these . Is the call quality that good that I might be able to solve that problem? Also I usually listen to like podcasts or whatever while working how is the sound? Is it ok? Thanks !
@@michaelmarquez6133 I'm in a similar boat and It's been few months since you commented. I'm interested to know your experience so far. Did these solve your issue?
Have the 1st version and the only thing I don’t like is that I could not hear what the caller was saying it’s out putting in an ear plug. Unusable in a semi.
Then why not put an earplug in?
Hi. I tried v2 and still found key issues. The mute does not work on a PC with teams at all. On a iPhone the mute works, but only mutes at the headset level and not teams app.
Need a USB charging solutions rather than a custom cable.
The mic call noise cancellation is not good.
But yet he demonstrated the call quality in noisy environment. What to believe and what not to :(
@@tausseef I noticed the same thing, stragely enough i found other reviews that didn't show the same noise reduction. Maybe this reviewer used some other software that filters mic noise. And he forgot to turn it off (Krisp for example)
Purchased these about a month ago. The sound quality is better using a direct bluetooth connection to the PC rather than the dongle.
This has been the same with the 1, but if you have problems with the BT connection, it’s good to have the dongle for backup.
Do you have the usb A or usb c variant?
Good video. I hear static on this video tho.
Same here, For a review of headphones and sound quality, this video has massive feedback issues
The ANC sounds worse than version 1.
I barely get 7 hrs of talk time. No where near 16hrs
1st
The microphone quality is awful! It really does sound bad.
Tell me what your bare minimum for quality is, then. Please, I'm dying to know.
