Outdoor Worm Bin 🪱 Setup & Feeding

My outdoor wormbin set up in an old 4.9cf chest freezer. We are in USDA zone 6. Potential for lows of -10⁰f and highs of 110⁰f

I've had great success using a second hand plastic olive barrel (55 gallon drum type item) as an outdoor worm farm. This is in Sonoma, California so our winters are mild. I installed a spigot near the bottom of the barrel to remove liquid as needed. It's super high nitrogen fertilizer that gets mixed with water and used in the garden.

That would be a nice set up. I'm hoping the heat and cold are okay for this freezer. 🖖🪱
