      Not possible to do. There are many games that were finished but never released, and are only known to those that worked on them. Then there's remasters, ports, and sequels, many of have the same name as their originals (KIller Instinct (SNES and XBone), Super Smash Bros (64 and Wii U/3DS, Sonic the Hedgehog (Genesis and '06)). There's also the fact that many games have different titles between regions, like in the UK where all Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles games have to be renamed Teenage Mutant HERO Turtles.
      Unless someone with an eidetic memory were shown every video game in existence (at least everything that counts as a video game) there's no way someone could recite them all from memory.

I had to make a schedule to keep all of this balanced. Monday, tuesday, Wednesday are my anime days 5 or 10 episodes in those days. Thursday is a random day, I could either play video game, watch anime, tune on Netflix for a movie, or just sleep. Friday, Saturday, and Sunday is my video game days. Can you play EVERY good videogame?
    Technically yes, the title doesn’t specify how much of each game you have to play, so you can play about an hour of each game and you would be able to play every good game, COMPLETING every good video game is a different story however.

    • @UltimateGamerCC
      @UltimateGamerCC 4 года назад +10

    • @mariopkmnzelda
      @mariopkmnzelda 4 года назад +7

      Personally I like finishing games. Playing isn’t substantial, when someone asks me if I’ve played a game and I haven’t finished it, I don’t feel comfortable telling them that yes I’ve played that game, for example I played maybe 1/3rd of Bayonetta, but I don’t feel like I can say I’ve played it with a straight face even though I technically have. Same with Yakuza, Final Fantasy 7, Tales of Symphonia, God of War, Spider-Man and lots more. All games I’ve played but have not finished, and all games I don’t like telling people I’ve “played.” Completing on the other hand is just too consuming and often times can turn a fun experience into a drag. I love the Kingdom Hearts games for instance, but I have never completed them because there is so much grinding involved in those games that completing them just wouldn’t be fun even though I really enjoy them. So finishing games is the sweet spot I think, finishing + the fun side stuff is good too.

    One of, if not my favorite aspect of playing games that I haven't before is the relationship I build with them over time. For instance, playing Chrono Trigger and Cross for the first time last year kept my brain coming back to them, their excellent soundtracks, lore, and story until I replayed them again this year, experiencing them in a whole new perspective. I also love how repeated playthroughs allow you to learn games more efficiently, often avoiding irritating and frustrating aspects of them that can plague blind runs w/out the fear of spoilers.

    When you're in school, you have so many freedom and choices to do without a care in the world to do anything. I usually finished video games due to amount time I be putting in. Now I work and have to balance all of my hobbies. I'm so behind on movies, animes and video games. So many good animes and video games to watch. Sometimes on Sunday nights, I rarely do a anime night and just watch 5 episodes before I turn in for work. This is how far behind I am from watching anime, you guys know I haven't watch dragonball super yet, you know I havent watch any of the new anime after year of 2014? Exactly I havent even finished with naruto shippuden yet

If you work forty hours a week, then you usually only get one hour of gaming a day, if that much. Here's an obvious idea for a follow up video:
    How MANY good video games can you play?
    Or you can make it more interesting by breaking it down further.
    How many good games can you play within each genre? How many good games can you 100%? How many good games could you play if you divided your time equally across all genres?

    This is a fascinating video. I'm a Chemistry teacher, so I already love science, data, and experiments. This video is a fantastic study! You covered parameters, your procedure and the asterisks around them; your results, data, and methods of collection; even better, in your conclusion, you talked about the limitations of your study and ways your study could be revised or improved. This is an incredible example, and I may even use this in my own class to teach students about the broad and detailed nature of a legitimate research study.

    I have a monstrous backlog and I prioritize games with a "save the best for last" mentality.
    This video was the EXACT wake up call I needed.
    I'm 23, my life is already a quarter of the way done. I'm only just playing Persona 5 now and I still haven't played FF7, Dragon Quest 11, Mario Odyssey, BoTw, Three Houses, Xenoblade 2 or even the last three most recent Pokemon games.
    And now I realize that if I prioritize games with the mind set of saving the ones I KNOW I'll enjoy the most for last, there's a very real possibility that I may die before I even get to them.
    And that's not even taking into account of books, TV, anime, movies or the number of games I plan on playing infinitely like MMOS and fighting games too. There's just too much good stuff that already exists AND is always coming out.
    So its time I take control of my life and prioritize games that I know I'll like the most and if I'm all out of that, THEN I'll dive into the niche ones that I'm interested in.
    I was really hyped when Bravely Default 2 was announced. I need to remember how that made me feel and only buy the games that make me feel that way. It's time to stop building the backlog and start assblasting it!

    True. I rarely actually complete a game and I've replayed lots of games over and over. Then, there are also games which you can literally not complete, because new stuff always gets added. The fact that gaming isn't the entirety of your free-time also makes sense. I've watched and rewatched countless movies/TV-shows. Even if I were to know which games I consider to be good before I play them, I wouldn't have enough time.

    Even just accounting for personal taste, the question suddenly becomes 'Do I want to play every *good* game?'. Aside from the fact that sitting all day staring at a screen negatively impacts your life, so does forcing yourself to commit your leisure time to games you're not enjoying. It may even lead to you harming your own love for gaming overall, so the answer being no is more of a positive overall in my opinion. Just play what YOU think is good and you'll be gucci, that's what really matters in the long run.
