An abundance of finds and plenty of variety 🤗 I didn’t find an alphabet 10p this week so that’s yet another club I’m not in 😂😂 Great stuff Christopher 👍🏻
Hi Christopher, I collect different coins, been trying to find the new one pound coin, no luck. Yesterday my Husband found one in his change. He knows I collect coins and said he is keeping it. So I said he could cook his own tea.
Hi Cristopher, I was wondering how you return common commemoratives to the bank, do you distribute them equally between all your small coin bags or do you just grab them all off the table and put them together in one or two bags?
Hi Christopher, I’m fairly new to coin collecting and I was wondering what do you do to get so many coins in bulk. For example I tend to only be able to get £50 in 50p if I’m lucky
Hi Christopher it's Simon from the UK not down under in Australia. I have noticed on the shoulders of some of my commemorative £2 coins the writing is a different way up to others of the same year and commemoration is this a strike error do you think or something that happens regular as I have a few examples
I'm a new subscriber, so you'll forgive me if these questions have been answered before. Firstly, I know you have a collection in boxes behind you, but do you sell any of the sets you make? Or just take the rarer coins to a show or dealer? I was recommended your channel because I follow a few American coin collectors, and those guys are obsessed with coin quality and ratings and so on. I don't really see you talk about that much - for instance, when you have two or three of the same coin , you don't mention if one is obviously shinier, less circulated, etc. Is this just something that you're not interested in, or is it a conscious decision to keep the chat about the coins themselves, and less about their value?
There was a day. A pence was made of silver, as were the shilling. A penny weighed 32 wheat grains of silver and 240 pennies made a tower pound. About 320g in today's measure. That 320g represented 1 pound of .925 sterling silver. That amount of silver is £280 in today's money. Right now, the money from the crown is an IOU for labor value. Back then, the value was intrinsic and contained within the coin. The change happened when they couldn't spend recklessly, and decided to take all your wealth out of circulation and "hold it for you". Veiwing the populace as chattel, I suppose.
Hi Christopher, what do you think about price hikes above inflation on Royal Mint bunc 50p, 2 pound coins and 5 pound coins? Surely these price hikes will discourage people from buying their coins. Said this before about time more coins get circulated. Price hikes wont seem as bad if they produce less bunc coins.
Hi Christopher, I was just wondering how yo7 can tell the difference between circulating and non circulating coins that have the same design. ie if I wanted an Atlantic salmon I wouldn’t know how to spot the difference so just wondered if there is a way? Thanks in advance.
Hi Chris , I want to give you the answer you should give them next time your asked why you don't give the value of coins on your videos, just say " like the value of metals , coin values go up and down "so if someone watches one of your videos from 3 month ago they won't get a false valuations from your video. I hope that made sense mate haha. Stay safe bud
Hi Christopher, when you show us your collection of £2 and 50p definitive coins in your books, I notice that there are empty spaces at the end of the books. Have you ever thought of putting some of the fakes in there or other different coins including the latest ones too? Just a thought. 🤔
Thank you for answering my question Christopher. As a 13 year old, I am definitely not spending that amount of money. Anyway, I don’t think that the privileges are thaaat good

The Polish coin says "100 years of regaining Polish independence" - so it is a commemorative coin.

The Non-circulating version had a Privvy mark (Crown) behind the King’s neck, the Circulating version doesn’t have this mark 😊
