In this clip, Shawn Prez started off by asking Nicholas Irving if he believes in God and if he’s afraid of death, and Nicholas explained that he lost faith after leaving the military. He then spoke about believing in a higher power after the birth of his son, and Nicholas explained that he has studied a lot of religions. Nicholas went on to speak about following the laws of the Nazirite, which he says has brought him a lot of peace in his life. Nicholas also revealed that he is scared of death now because he has more to lose now that he has a family. Speaking more about his time as a sniper, Nicholas explained that the best trait of a sniper is protecting others, and he added that he hopes he passes enough knowledge to his son while he’s alive.

I felt the same way after my daughter was born. All I ask is to be here long enough to guide her the right way. Give her the heads up in life. Death is certain. I just ask for enough time with my daughter.

That’s a powerful message, the bond you create with your guys in combat is very difficult to set aside. It’s one thing caring for someone, another thing is caring for someone that’s willing to kill and give their lives for you. Seeing them die or taking their lives it’s gut wrenching. Been there, hard pill to swallow for sure and the only thing you can do i ls hoping to see them on the other side.
He is already a legend and doesn't even know it. Love you guys and the growth of the family. It took much chaos to create much peace. So proud of you!!!
Rastafari. I haven't ✂️ my hair in a long time. My kids' hair hasn't been cut either since birth. I visited the motherland Jamaica, and it was a highly spiritual event. It's not all the glitz and glamor but to see black people living below our means here in the States and seeing everyone smiling and enjoying life hit differently. The food is amazing and so clean that when I got back, I had stomach issues getting back accustomed to food in the States. It's a place that everyone needs to experience at least once in their lives. 🤝🏾💯🇯🇲

Standing Ovation Best Vlad Interview Ever !!!
Most of us as civilians will never understand how much "war" and seeing how death affects someone and how it is tied to suicide. I remember speaking to my late father in law about his time in the Vietnam war and how one of his fellow soldiers blew his brains out in front of him. He talked about the sleepless nights and nightmares he had......................it took him years to get over that so that he could sleep peacefully. Even in his old age he still had guns stashed in secret places all over his house just in case he needed to put somebody down...................I guess it was just the soldier in him that always had to be prepared.
It’s the constant fear of being a victim or helpless.. you only act like that when you’ve felt that way before and never want to again, Ik from personal experience

My uncle was a rasta and he use to say that he dont believe in death and if one day he die he's not he just going back to the creator. And I remember when he died while I was cryin I felt somthing like he was telling me while laughin "why u cryin I'm not dead I just went back home" .

Don't need a commercial, I can walk outside to see that. I'm in New Orleans. It's allot of young kids out here at war with themselves. So the continuation of watching organized crime bosses telling their story or watching real American heros tell there story.......

I understand him on this. None of my buddies have died from deployments but mostly because of suicide and other Americans. Shit hurts because when I think they are suppose to leave us they don’t they leave us when I least expect it.
