Part 8: • Nicholas Irving on Tor...
--------
Former Army Ranger Nicholas Irving discussed his perspective on how he would have handled security for rappers Tupac Shakur and Notorious B.I.G. as well as his views on the conspiracy theories surrounding their deaths. Irving, who has served in combat and done security, stated that his approach would have prioritized his clients' safety, possibly resorting to ditching the protocol of stopping at red lights and instead stepping on the gas to escape potential threats. He questioned the validity of theories that Suge Knight ordered Tupac's assassination since avoiding the driver of the car (Suge Knight) while hitting Tupac would require highly trained marksmen. For Notorious B.I.G., he noted the best preventive measure would have been to avoid the risky situation altogether and mentioned a similar situation he experienced overseas.

When he said, " I'm not missing" I believe that.
The way he just says it matter of fact as an extra bit of info, you know he ain't bragging or messing around. I with you & taking him at his word 🤣🤣
Professional sniper i believe him
Clearly
Nobody cares.
*At that distance* 🎯🎯🎯🎯🎯🎯
The way he double backed n instantly changed his mind to drive off instead shows you he's a very experienced trained professional.
anyone with a brain will floor it professional or not 😂
@@sevendoubleodex😂😂😂😂 🐐
That's not gonna work bullets leave the gun 1st before you could even think about hitting the gas
Yes, but clearly, he doesn’t know the facts of the case at all he was boxed in. Everybody should know that by now.
@@user-hr6jo1wl4l how are you boxed in at a red light? regardless when you get caught off guard from that close more then likely u get shot and survive or u get shot and die but u def getting shot
Man I would want this guy on my team any day!
He'll tell you don't do go..
What team is that?
That’s what every ex military should do, create their own team of security and u’d see how no vip would get killed or touched
@@lltipsyanybody can get tocuhed dont be fooled
“Highly trained hit men who know a lot about trigonometry”
😂😂😂😂
Obviously he meant to say trajectory
No, he meant to say what he said, he also said geometry, expert or high level shooters know how math enters the equation. That stuff they show you in movies and TV about snipers us show, there is a lot of mathematical calculations involvef
@@914southsidehe meant trigonometry. It's math revolving around triangles. Distance, height, angles. Read about the military snipers and forensic experts, they know this...only street dudes w 5th grade reading levels have no idea what he's talking about
@65sg21 well neither of us are in his brain so you don’t know for a fact which he meant to say but at the exact moment he said that he was talking about bullets going through cara into the target and possibly hitting a bystander that has much more to do with trajectory of bullets than trigonometry…..but okay guy who probably did a half ass tour in iraq working on computers I guess we should all just take your expertise as fact
If I was a Millionaire this guy would be my private security for life!!💯
Man he'd be eating straight 😂😂😂💯
And why would someone be trying to kill you?
@@shadow1x20he not saying that someone is trying to kill him but since he would be a Millionaire and draw attention just incase someone try’s something he would have the best security on his side
I was thinking the exact same thing
@@donkeyfart3566Exactly🎯
The way his brain always try to find different alternatives is amazing
It’s probably out of pure habit, it’s like he’s in survival mode by any means necessary 24/7, which is both a blessing and a curse.
@@EarsTotheStreetsMedia I’m glad this video was recommended to me. I gotta learn more about this man.

I like that he took a second to think about it…and corrected his course of action
"at that distance, im not missing" real flex
1. The career of being a protector, bodyguard, executive Protection specialist, or any person hired to protect another human being is not about guns. Its about all the advance work. The secret service protects the president by doing the advance work, proper planning, having the right agents around and a proper motorcade to surround that vehicle when moving.
2nd. Each of these protectees should've been seated in the back passenger seat, behind a security professional and behind tinted windows.
3rd. These 2 Icons could still be around today if they had security professionals around them and not just big guys with guns..
speeaakkk. it’s all in the advance and getting your client out of harms way
Stop
I’m gonna take a guess in the dark & say you might work in the personal security guard biz
Well if it was the secrete service... They'd probably have a bullet proof car .. which stops everything..
So the secret service and all that is irrelevant here... There was no protection..
No security..
Pac was on his own.

Irving has all my respect for speaking up on all he's said
I can listen to bro talk about diff topics all day lol He’s the man
He said trigonometry and I thought it was gun math for a second.

The car would've been bulletproof If I was head of security!
Hip hop at that time wasn’t moving like that yet
So basically if he was around 2pac that night we would still have pac ...it hit different
It do hit different
Been hearing about him since 03 he the real deal
Best answers…from a security perspective he answered accurately.
A personal security expert told me his job was to make his client the most boring person in the world.
Dam. Bro got more hits under his belt than Motown. 💯
😂
Yeah he’s the Berry Gordy of the military 🤣🤣🤣
He said the guy that is suppose to pay isnt gonna be able to pay me. Facts!
He is that dude. His mentality is calculated but his easy-going manner is deceptive.

Nick Irving in the cut is a scarier sight.

It is easy to say what you would do with 30 years of hindsight, but these artists passed away because they lived inherently dangerous lifestyles. This gentleman’s knowledge would only work to prolong the lives of these artists until they succumbed to their flaws, or matured in spite of the negative influences. Two legends gone way too soon!
Thats true... In fact the Head bodyguard was actually given the night off when it all went down..
Bro just look at the attempt assination of quando rondo.
They turned the SUV into swiss cheese. Killed a passenger in the car. Burned the getawat car then disappeared into thin air. Im sure no one has been caught even tho it happened across the sofi stafium. Sometimes there just aint shit you can do.
Exactly man. You cant tell two of the biggest artists in humanity, getting a ton of money, woman, and power nothing. At . All.... even puffy knew how dangerous it was to go to cali.
Suge and snoop knew his loose of a cannon tupac was.
@@BLUNTZnBEATZ97not true
@zaywop5978 not true, the first thing you could do is change your image...second, hire security
😂😂😂 I love his confidence. He said that shit so matter of factly
Notice how in all the "Dead Rapper" situation there is one familiar catalyst, nobody gave chase or shot back😮
I swear i jus said the same thing suge didnt pull off cuz it was a set up makes total sense because any human with a brain if u in a car at a red light and someone pulls shooting your first instinct is to hit the gas n pull off

Death row gave chase and shot the white Cadillac.
@@sadmel2705facts I believe they were in Buntry's Toyota Supra which would've been a great car to give chased in. I think the cops had pulled them over after giving chase.

Vlad gotta give Nicolas his own podcast on vladtv, interviewing former soldiers etc.... dope!!!!
I love this dude. All these thug rappers on Vlad TV talk so hard. This man is harder than them all but he don't have to act hard. True American heroe. He's also a gentleman. I wish black dudes like this were advertised more in media.
Absolutely! Love this comment brother.
You certainly don't let the client sit up front, visible to hitmen.
I think he has one of the best outlooks on things ive ever heard.
I wish more accomplished Black Men like this Brother would be highlighted on this channel alot more than the the pookie/thuggish rappers...but we all know the powers-that-be wouldn't allow that. Great video/interview.
Thugs and gangsters represent the hood though. Thugs and gangsters get lots of hoes too.
Note to self…. Never get in a shootout with this man
Can't stop God's will ...
It amazes me more high profile individuals don't invest in armored vehicles to move around, thought I'd hear him say it
I like that guy a lot. At first he went the Billy bad ass route by returning fire, then he gives it so thought and decided he'd just drive off.
I want this guy to be my bodyguard
best to not ever need one
Like he said the mathematics you would need to know in a moment of high pressure makes it a ridiculous conspiracy off the bat.
He articulates and answers the question absolutely perfect then says i don’t know. The humbleness is so apparent.
Do we really have to ask EVERYONE about 2Pac?
“He wasn’t Keefe D” 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂good one Nick!
In Big's case Puffy was the problem cause Big should have never been there
He’s very intelligent I don’t know him from Adam but I’m sure he’s not to be messed with
Now we just picking on the bones of a carcass of my guy 2pac storyline ....

Love this guy
Love this dude.
Yea setting someone up n intentially being in th crossfire is dumb as a box of rocks
Great interview. It's interesting to hear ex military breakdown the Tupac shooting. I think I would have drove thru the red light too.
Good secuirty is priceless.
This dude is one of my favorite humans
The way he talks so casually about everything scares the hell out of me.
He's killed alot of people and has seen alot of shit. Rangers See more direct action than any other unit in the U.S military. Its what they're trained and bread for. They are killers. Luckily, they're on our side. SEALs wish they did as many DA raids as the Rangers 😮
Lol you the 2nd person I saw say that
Well, he’s really trying to say is that they might’ve killed big and 2Pac but there’s no reason they got away alive
Out of tupaxs entourage they only had one gun. U gotta listen to the people talking like Gene. He tells us there was only one gun
Yes again absolutely. Can’t even compare to careers totally different. I respect this guy a lot, but not the same.
Key question would be why would he be separated from his detail!!! at the moment, Suge knight decided to put 2Pac in the car with him without the bodyguard. What would he have done? Would he have a layout that to happen?!! Basically that would’ve been the people choice that was paying him.!!! along with 2Pac obviously agreeing!!! Can you now see the huge dilemma in this situation!!!! I personally would never allow my detail more than 3 feet away from me at any time!!!!!!!! And if I cannot keep control of the situation, and they do not follow my orders, I quit!!!!!!! This is coming from a real professional over 30 years of bodyguarding celebrities Businessman, and even government officials!!
This guy is NO JOKE‼️ 💯💯💯💯💯🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Big should not of been in LA 6 months after PAC was killed period!!! If he needed to be there for business, which he didn’t, he should of been in a bulletproof vehicle and not been going out to parties. I think that Puff knew the risks but he didn’t care and we seen how that turned out. The real issue was between Suge and Puff stemming from the Jake getting killed situation in Atlanta in 1993,I think it was.
You can tell he has thought about that situation before and what he would have done
EXXLUSIVE!!!
4:29 that’s one cold mfr right there 🥶
I respect military men!!! But make no mistake. It is a huge difference between a train officer, bodyguard, protector in a military soldier.!
I like this guy he seems like a cool dude I would like to meet him one day
Just referring to the part where he said he wouldn't have even put his client in that position (Speaking about Biggie). Gene Deal said he tried to stop them from going out but they laughed at him & didn't take the threats serious. So in reality being too tough as well as illogical can be the death of you & MANY others! 💯
That close I’m not going to miss 😂
That may be true but in order to save his life that night probably would have been best for him NOT to be in the car with Suge
True SoulJah Blessed
The real life Equalizer and John Wick sheesh
He wasn’t keefe d dumb😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂‼️🐐🤞🏽📌
Thank god I never went to the military I would’ve been dead Fr idgaf I. Those type of situations. I wanna live. 💯
Homie looks like son from the rap group channel live 😅.
He said basically what gene deal said was the best way to deal/ protect.
Fif said “Bulletproof the whip”
The fact that even this guy stops and says oh wait a minute,no I would have drove off instead..Wouldn't have had time to stop and second guess in the real life situation that happend so fast..
@1:55 Rick Ross did exactly this back in Jan 2013 ducking around 20 shots in Florida. Crashed his RR but still with us making good music. Flooring the gas pedal it is!
4:13 - great use of the word Trigonometry
Every hit man should know Trigonometry and G-Ometry
He is just ready to go
He aint missing
Yall overthinking, best thing would've been to buy an armored bulletproof truck. End of discussion.
“…..and I’ve never done that before”
Wasn't there just a full length interview on this guy like 6 months ago?
Roger that
1:05 cold
What'd he expect asking a question like this? Nicholas Irving is the man. He did us the courtesy of telling us what would go down, but we already knew before the damn question was asked!
2:03 I would’ve stepped on the gaaaaaaas 😂😂
If they was following the car they probally rolled up slow and timed it when the car stopped at the red light and than started shooting. At that moment you really have no chance it's so unexpected. What I'm feeling is that wasn't the only car rolling around looking for pac could have been other potential shooters and possibly even the police communicating and working with the killers. If a cop gets paid off to spot pac or communicate with the killers where he is at.
In many cases yes, but word is everyone made eye contact at the light for a few moments before the gun went off. So there's at least a moment suge could have made a move. In other cases you're correct as well.
He Worked For Bad Boys But He Sure Made Sure He Didn’t Mention Diddy Hmm 🤔 lol
Dont come for brother love ❤, yo car might be in danger
This man is a bad mo effer but u can tell he's not quite the elite bodyguard...yet....it's a big difference and it shows here...respect still
He wasn't trained to be a bodyguard. He was trained to raid terrorist hideouts in the middle of nowhere at night and kill. Big difference
Preach
You can tell Vlad told him to ask this question 😂😂😂
Stepped on the gas!? When your boxed in? Wasnt stopping bullets hit the car and pac.
Imma have to make him count ‘em💯💯😂😂
Keefe D admitted to it my man. Lmao 🤣
He the 1st one to say it publicly but even as a kid I questioned WHY SUGE AINT JUST FLOOR IT BECOME A MOVING TARGET MUCH EASIER TO HIT why did he just sit there 🤔
Panic
Flight, freight or fight 🤷🏾
It’s easy to say what you would have done now in 2023 coz it’s been 26/27 years but cast your mindset back to 1996/1997 when you were much younger and perhaps wouldn’t have had the maturity to make such decisions
2:00 someone was infront of them I think
Nick the real John wick
one “on that car” and both situations could be different
all it would’ve took was someone in the backseat armed and it’s a pop shot situation anybody could’ve died at that point pac/big could be alive
easy too speak on hindsight but imo: anybody trained or in the streets for that matter would’ve already been paranoid of the people from the sidewalk and/or the nearby cars passing especially when about to stop at a red light.
for whatever reason both of them were 100% surprised in situations that from hindsight doesn’t seem too be all that surprising
First thing first, bulletproof vehicle
Suge was really lucky
Even if he took pac as shield he still was super lucky
A big guy like that not getting hit when 13 shots coming into the car
Crazy
It's never God's will for something that is senseless to happen.
I have a really simple answer for this question... Get bullet proof vehicles especially if you are rich.
I love hearing this man speak ..who know Jason Borne was black wow
They both should of rented limos and kept the windows up so the shooters can’t see who’s inside
I h always wondered why Tupac and Biggie weren’t in bulletproof vehicles. They had them back then and Death Row even owned a few.
The BMW that Suge had been bought the day before or a few days before Vegas I would imagine he wasn't thinking about that. It was a last minute thing.
In other words Puff didn’t give af about Big if a 15 year old from a country ass town knew it was a dumb move going out to California and knew what the outcome would possibly be I’m pretty sure someone in their entourage knew the same thing and just didn’t care
