Part 6: • Nicholas Irving on Kee...
Part 8: • Nicholas Irving on Tor...
    --------
Former Army Ranger Nicholas Irving discussed his perspective on how he would have handled security for rappers Tupac Shakur and Notorious B.I.G. as well as his views on the conspiracy theories surrounding their deaths. Irving, who has served in combat and done security, stated that his approach would have prioritized his clients' safety, possibly resorting to ditching the protocol of stopping at red lights and instead stepping on the gas to escape potential threats. He questioned the validity of theories that Suge Knight ordered Tupac's assassination since avoiding the driver of the car (Suge Knight) while hitting Tupac would require highly trained marksmen. For Notorious B.I.G., he noted the best preventive measure would have been to avoid the risky situation altogether and mentioned a similar situation he experienced overseas.

If they was following the car they probally rolled up slow and timed it when the car stopped at the red light and than started shooting. At that moment you really have no chance it's so unexpected. What I'm feeling is that wasn't the only car rolling around looking for pac could have been other potential shooters and possibly even the police communicating and working with the killers. If a cop gets paid off to spot pac or communicate with the killers where he is at.

In many cases yes, but word is everyone made eye contact at the light for a few moments before the gun went off. So there's at least a moment suge could have made a move. In other cases you're correct as well.

It’s easy to say what you would have done now in 2023 coz it’s been 26/27 years but cast your mindset back to 1996/1997 when you were much younger and perhaps wouldn’t have had the maturity to make such decisions

one “on that car” and both situations could be different
all it would’ve took was someone in the backseat armed and it’s a pop shot situation anybody could’ve died at that point pac/big could be alive
easy too speak on hindsight but imo: anybody trained or in the streets for that matter would’ve already been paranoid of the people from the sidewalk and/or the nearby cars passing especially when about to stop at a red light.
for whatever reason both of them were 100% surprised in situations that from hindsight doesn’t seem too be all that surprising

In other words Puff didn’t give af about Big if a 15 year old from a country ass town knew it was a dumb move going out to California and knew what the outcome would possibly be I’m pretty sure someone in their entourage knew the same thing and just didn’t care
