- A word of advice, before you start this have the radio codes ready with you or you have to go to Ford dealership to get them. There is no other way. They come with the car.
This video is about how you can install/add after market Bluetooth module to your 6000CD stereo.
Here is the link to order the module. You can buy using the below mentioned links

I managed to install the cable with this video and a little help of my father in law. 👍🏻 Thanks!
Thanks for the comment. That is nice to hear
@@adnansgarage do you know what that white female connector is for ? the one that you removed ?
@@akawrench2961 it`s for the Aux port in your glove compartment, i think..
thanks, worked spot on - I had to solder the red and black wires to the existing wires.
Good idea
Where does a single red wire go? I connected it to the yellow and green it turned on and then I turned the car on and it doesn’t work anymore. What can I do
Its strange. if you have access to the multimeter, check the voltage after turning on the car.
check if the module is turning on and there is power on red and black wire
Thanks Adnan, great tutorial. The audio of the module works really well, but the microphone and phone audio doesn’t work on calls. Bluetooth keeps dropping out when phone calls are connected on iPhone. Any ideas why this might be happening?
Now nothing works at all, not even any audio. Audio worked once and sounded great, but that’s it. I’ve checked all connections, but I can’t even find the device to connect. Radio works as normal though. Could it be a blown fuse? Your help is appreciated!
i think the car itself has nothing to do with the bluetooth module behavior. It all depends on how good your bluetooth module is
are you sure the bluetooth module works? it looks like the bluetooth module is either not getting power or blown up
It worked fine and with audio output, but only once. After reconnecting the microphone, it is now no longer discoverable as a device in bluetooth search. It’s like it’s no longer getting power, but the wiring seems fine. It’s odd that it was working, then suddenly doesn’t?
It’s the Amazon one by the way, £13.99.
Is the sound coming from Bluetooth MONO or STEREO? Because in mine it's only coming from the left side of the car which is terrible for listening to music
I didnt check which way it is coming from. But i was not happy with the product. I might look for something with higher quality
@@adnansgarage I found the answear. The problem was actually in the wrong positions of the pins in the brick (from the factory, they fucked it up lol). After i swaped the pins in the brick and then plugged in the sound was STEREO :)
I am having the same problem... Disappointed...
I think it's the same manufacturing error..
Still i have another problem which is the audio input is fixed in the same aux input of the car so aux input now isn't working! Failure
i got squared sony cd player/radio on my ford focus mk2 2005 titanium, my question is can buy a little bit newer radio like sony 6000 from 2008 as an example?
yes you can but you need to change the surrounding silver trim as well as new radios are oval shaped. Also make sure that they use the same wiring harness
Canno install the face plate back on please help
i think i had a similar issue. I started from the bottom and worked my way up or the other way around. now i forgot actually
do as commented by other user
thanks, i followed your instructions with a similar bluetooth gadget without the microphone cable and aux audio plug brought from Amazon and works great! for listening to my music, this device didn't allow me to hear the caller via car speaker. i don't know why
At least you should be able to hear the call
Yeah! great job!
Unfortunately after taking out my radio and connecting the Bluetooth module, my radio is now asking for a radio code that I do not have.. hoping Ford are kind when I ask for mine!
My bad i forgot to mention that one should have the codes ready before removing the power
You can use this website bro. Enter the serial number of your radio and enter it on the website, then they it shows your security code.
You can get cheap radio codes on ebay
Where do I find the radio code? So I can have that ready when i start to install this....
@@henrikvestergard1197 if somebody didn't write it down in the owners manual, you might need to ask the main dealer, or i bought mine on ebay for about £3
Thank you very, very, very much 🥰😊😁 with your help now I have good music 🎶 and very good feelings in my car! Thanks, Thanks, Thanks 😊
Great if this has helped
Does this work on a Ford focus mk2 2008 cd6000 radio but mine is gray
Well i cant promis but if the clip on the rear of the stereo has space to insert this bluetooth module then yes
I have the same stereo in the Focus MK2-B (2010) and the green and red buttons answer and decline calls when connected via bluetooth. The microphone is in the healiner, just behind the light (looks like a little grill) and the audio comes out of the car's speakers. The bluetooth is only for calls though and not for music which is a bummer. I have bought a BT receiver to AUX (BlitzWolf BW-BR1) which has a built-in battery and it's very good and inexpensive.
Great
Is the Mic can work properly with Aux input?
The mic works ok if you put it on your shirt otherwise it is too far away
Did you in the meantime maybe find some BT model that can provide both functionality of buttons on the radio itself(green and red phone buttons) and for steering wheel controls?
Hi thanks for the comment. Well i didnt search any further
Hi ,Thanks for video with help. But have problem ,all connection is right but i have no sound 😢 Can you help me pls?
Well that is really hard to answer. Is the bluetooth device working, that is the first question
@@adnansgarage Yes sir i think the Bluetooth is working because connection and pairing worked and blue diod shines. Any idea pls?
This model works for Focus MK1 1998-2004? Thank's
I cannot be sure
Thank you for your help 👊
Thanks
Hi I did everything but when some one call me when I press the Green button it won’t pick up the phone why
Well according to my research these green buttons only mute and unmute the system. Maybe in high end trims with company fitted bluetooth, they might work
Iv done what you said and it's working but I can no longer control my radio from my wheel I think that the 2 wires iv left out was for that
Do you have mk3? I am not sure if it works with steering wheel controls
how is the quality of this module? and did you have to input the stereo code after connecting back the plug?
Quality of this module is average. Yes you have to input the stereo codes if you remove the power
Before cutting the wires, do you recommend disconnecting the car battery?
Thanks. Sure i do recommend. Accidentally touching both wires can be a disaster.
Or use wire splitters and do it on one wire at a time. Then you dont have to disconnect the battery
Do you need a radio code after disconnecting the radio
yes
Thank you works perfect great video
And if you put the other connector back in you can use the volume on the steering wheel
Thank you man
if i was listening to radio and got a call does it swap to aux auto or not?
No i dont think so
Did steering voice of wheel works after install BT???
Mine is old focus and i dont have steering controls
I did a similar mod with a direkt fit bluetooth.
However, the blietooth is always on. You havnt noticed any issues with battery drainage when having this Bluetooth mod?
In My Case the Power cables weich the device are connected to only have Power on them when the ignition is on. I used the Same cables as Shown in the Video. Try to use these.
You can choose if you want to have always on or with ignition. I dont see it is draining the battery when not in use
Did you find a way to make this direct fit work with steering wheel buttons? Do this way of connecting work with steering wheel buttons?
how long bt will suck the voltage ? its not poweroff with ACC
I wanted it to be like this in always on mode. Modern bluetooths when not used, takes negligible power. You can choose to connect it with ignition On wire
Hi All,....ive installed this and realised that there is o e small but irritating issue......when you switch the car on a red arrow on the das appears facing upwards (i thinknit is red or yellow) about 20seconds later when this disappears the gauges kick in and turn on as usual when you normally switch the car on......also the electrics, wi dows radio etc switch on after as well. ....have you come across this issue..?
I haven't seen any issue but did you have this issue before or you got it after you installed it
@@adnansgarage ok resolved......if anyone does have a similar problem to.mine then find the fuse 7.5 in the passenger glove compartment area near the feet and replace the 7.5 fuse for the radio and instrument cluster.....due to a safety mechanism the fuse will blow and this wont affect the bluetooth or radio, but it will give interference to the delay responce to gauges on the instrument cluster...once thats done on 2nd switch ignition all dials will work as they should...
The link for Amazon UK doesn't fit in the 6000CD, it is too big, more square than rectangle.. But the thumbnail picture is the same one - I'm confused as to why it's different
Hi, i gave it as a reference. I bought it from amazon sweden. But they look really same
@@adnansgarage - you say the link is where you can find it but the link you give is the wrong one.. Just because they look the same doesn't mean they are.. You might want to change your links for the correct parts
Hi, what happens to the mic that comes with the bluetooth module ? Also is this module compatible with a mk2 2008 focus zetec ?.....couldn't see what happens to the mic, unless I skipped it. ...thanks
Hi, thanks for the comment.
Look at 6:29 for the mic
Also please subscribe
@@adnansgarage thanks......I would love to see the video of you actually making g a test call and usi g the mic with someone e else calling and speaking g to you. ....I have a zetec mk2 2008 and after pressing the menu I can't find d the BT option. So frustrating but I might not have it looks like?
@@AK47NoFFicial you must conect it by pressing AUX. in the phone menu you must search the Bluetooth device and pair with it.
You enable /disable the Bluetooth from the car by pressing the AUX button from radio.
@@niku21111 yes i got that ...if i saw in the video that there is a audio jack it plugs in to then I would of known. But thanks i saw it when i bought the bluetooth and i figured it out
Didn't it occur to you to set the camera (phone?) stationary on something instead of having it bounce around? It spoils the whole vid.
Yes it occured to me but i didnt have stand that i can fix in the car at the correct angle. It is better to make a reasonable video rather than a perfect or no video at all. I hope this video has helped you in some way
Hello. Does the steering wheel remote control work?
Well my car is mk2 and i dont have controls on the steering wheel
@@adnansgarage ok. tnx enyway.
steering wheel controls won't work. It's not actually a proper bluetooth module which integrates into the head unit. It's only a receiver that outputs audio in aux port, like a 3.5mm aux in.
Now the steering controls are not working
So if your streaming music via Bluetooth from your phone, what happens if you get a call? Do you have Bluetooth built in as standard on your stereo too?
Well i didnt see any of these models coming with built in bluetooth
But with this after market module you can also take calls if you install and place the microphone correctly as i have shown
Can you please send me the link so I can buy one
Hi, there are already 3 links in the deseciption. Please let me know if they dont work
Hi can you help please it just flashes phone don't pick it up
Great
Up with the red or green buttons
The built in bluetooth is only for hands free calls. Its connection service is in settings. Then you can answer calls or hang
when is not music u can hear something? i mean weird noises and stuff
Yes, because the device is cheap chinese quality. I recommend buying a good one with good reviews and guarantee

For gods sake will you people invest a few bucks in a head cam ? Nothing worse than seeing someone tryin to manage with just one hand , it’s not professional!
It is interesting that you are asking for things
Why should he idiot
Фуфло все это перепробоаал 3 комплекта идет фон и шумы в динамиках и тише работает
yes there is noise in the background due to aftermarket bluetooth
