The very first time I heard this song was very Memorable... My Mother had just recently been diagnosed with Cancer and I was staying with her for a few months to help her through Chemo. I walked to downtown Mill Valley to hit the Local Record Store...I brought my personal CD player with earbuds with me. I bought this CD and on the way home I stopped off in a Peaceful Redwood Grove to sit & listen to the new CD.... When this song came on I closed my Eyes and I began to Cry due to the Emotional Beauty of Neil's Words & Music... At the End of the song I opened my eyes and there was ONE Beam of Sunlight filtering through the Redwoods Canopy.... AND it was hitting me right on my foot...It was Beautiful...I sat there in Awe and just got Goose Bumps all over my Goose Bumps! God it was a Beautiful Moment and hearing this song brings back that feeling again every time I hear it....Thank you for this Gorgeous Post! God Bless Neil Young!

I've had similar moments that you could call supernatural. That seems to be the deepest, truest nature of love and creation. I wish you the best and if your mom is still here, I wish her peace and to know she is truly loved.

Woke up from a bad dream. In it, I was crying, I look up and my mom who passed away on March 23rd 2015, was in front of me, radiant with her hands outstretched and we hugged each other and the dream was over and wanted to listen to this.
I absolutely love this song. As humans we will have to re-define the beauty of the past. The dream Neil describes should not be allowed to fade but it's a huge challenge
This song means so much to me.Every time I listen to, it brings me all dear people of my life who are not there with me anymore..Neil is such a class of artist.
