      @@PrimeNewtons Yes, you don't even need to solve the equation for x; you can just find it right there on the page !!! It also makes it easier to know that the symbol isn't the multiplication sign × .

    This is one of the first examples my professor showed me when introducing me to IBP with trig functions. Mind blowing when you realize you can just split the weird power of a trig function into a familiar power of a trig function

      @@JSSTyger what I did is sec*2 was different and I converted secx into root(1+tan*2) so mera last answer aaya log sex+tanx

    Muy bueno los pasos y la explicación para resolver esta Integral.
    Pero en 8:00 para encontrar la Integral de sec x multiplicó Numerador y Denominador por la expresión sec x + tg x y muchos quedan impresionados por ello.
    No es ningún artificio,. Es más bien una trampa o un truco.
    Porque para saber porqué se debe multiplicar por esa expresión y no otra, se aprovecha el CONOCIMIENTO del RESULTADO de la Integral que es: ln (sec x + tg x) y como se sabe que la Derivada de Logaritmo NEPERIANO es 1/x, entonces necesitamos que sec x + tg x tengamos en el Denominador
    No es la Octava Maravilla
    Lo correcto es utlizar por ejemplo la Sustitución Trigonométrica Universal. También existe otros caminos, pero sin usar RESULTADO CONOCIDO
