    I cant find Members by justin tadlock, instead I only see Members - Membership & User Role Editor Plugin By MemberPress, I am not sure if this is the same plugin? also, if you update the plugin will it replaces the code you added in the file you edit in the MU-Plugins?

    • @mrknowitallyts
      @mrknowitallyts  2 года назад +1

      Yes its the same plugin.
      Plugins in the must-use directory will not appear in the update notifications nor show their update status on the plugins page, so you are responsible for learning about and performing updates on your own.

      When the plugin is first activated, it runs a script that sets specific capabilities to the “Administrator” role on your site that grants you access to this feature. So, you must be logged in with the administrator account to access the role manager.
      If, for some reason, you do have the administrator role and the role manager is still inaccessible to you, deactivate the plugin. Then, reactivate it.
