    I would do Mach3 calibration with 1 full turn (calc. distance Pi x Dia) not 50mm and inaccurate and clumsy tape measurement)

      Restart the same as in flat axis, tell Mach 3 to start in a line of Gcode in the file 20%in 50%in and so on

    i just bought the 4th axis, but im so confused, do i really have to set the move of A each time i change the diameter? cant i set the degrees instead? 360

    Is your CNC router made in china . I could see Chinese character saying X,Y,z axis in Chinese

    This seems odd. I would have thought the a axis would work in degrees not mm.

      Manfred, I have to agree. All my CNC experience has always been. Only XY&Z are linear. A Axis, is rotational therefor is in Degrees..

      I agree, should be steps per degree, then if you put your radius of your work in the settings tab in the upper right at the rotation radius, mach3 will calculate it for you. This seems very inaccurate and a real pain in the...

    I AM SUBSCRIBED TO YOUR RUclips CHANNEL FOR 1 YEAR, LET ME ASK YOU A TECHNICAL QUERY ABOUT THE CALIBRATION OF MOTORS IN A CNC ROUTER, MAYBE I HAVE AN ANSWER TO MY CONCERN.
    WHEN PERFORMING CUTTING OPERATIONS, IN MY CNC ROUTER THAT OPERATES WITH ARDUINO, IT PRESENTS DIFFERENCES IN MEASUREMENT WHEN IT MOVES IN THE DIRECTION OF THE X-AXIS, THIS OCCURS APPROXIMATELY AT THE MIDDLE OF THE TOTAL DISPLACEMENT OF THE CNC MACHINE, THE MOST BIG PARTS REMAIN 1mm. IT HAS APPROXIMATELY A TOTAL TRAVEL OF 1850 mm.
    I HAVE PERFORMED CHECKS ON THE RACK TEETH, I HAVE EXCHANGED RACK SECTIONS BUT THE ERROR OCCURS IN THE SAME WAY. BETWEEN 900 - 1200 mm THE PIECES THAT ARE OBTAINED ARE 1mm LARGER, THE CURIOUS IS Q THE PIECES THAT I PERFORM OUTSIDE THAT RANGE OF DISTANCES, EITHER LESS THAN 900 mm AND / OR GREATER THAN 1200 mm, ARE IN THEIR CORRECT DIMESIONS.
    MY SPECIFIC QUESTION IS HOW TO PERFORM THE CHECK ON THAT ENGINE (X AXIS) AND IF THERE IS ANY VARIANT TO MODIFY CONFIGURATION PARAMETERS THROUGH THE ARDUINO.
