  • This past weekend I got fed up fighting with my headphones. I de-cluttered the desk with a purpose built brass and walnut headphone wall hanger. This build was a lot of fun, I think because it was very free form and measurements were more of a rough guideline. The wood is a solid walnut veneer from Woodcraft. I finished it with 3 coats of Armor-Seal and a coat of furniture wax. Hope you enjoy! Also subscribe, please, this is a little channel and I like to get my content out to more people.
Additionally, this project came about because I was editing an episode of The Woodnut podcast, which I am an producer/editor on. There's a ton of great conversations there with all sorts of woodworkers and makers. Check it out at woodnut.podbea... Or you can find it on iTunes and Google Play.
If you're curious about the tools in this episode they were:
    Jet 12" chop saw
    Rikon 10" bandsaw
    Taig Micro Lathe
    Rikon Drill Press
    a lot of clamps
    a lot of sand paper
