Even if Endermen are Mentally harmed by water, rather than physically, as they come from a waterless void, the meat would be intensely dry.
Maybe it would taste like those dehydrated meat sticks?

FUN FACT! The gas inside of ghasts is actually extremely flammable! This is how they shoot fireballs at you.
That means, that it is likelly methane, as it is an organic product. It would also burn real well, as i can imagine, that the red netherrack contains some iron oxides, and when it melts (and it does at a big scale) it makes the atmosphere of the nether full of oxygen. Also carbon dioxide, sulfur dioxide (which after touching water turns into sulfuric acid) and a lot of mercury vapor (according to edu. edition).
Time to reproduce Hindenburg 😍😏💥💥💥
then why dont they explode if i shoot them with my flame bow
@@omegadragons321 it all comes down to "is mojang comfortable with it making sense?"
Also after some thought it makes more sense for it to be hydrogen, as it's lighter than oxygen. That also means, that ghast tears are just a biproduct of nether's atmosphere combining with hydrogen, which implies, that ghast tears are some hydrogen - oxygen compound, likelly H2O2, which is used to deinfect wounds because of it's ability to effectivelly kill germs. That implies, that the potion of healing is oxigenated water and it just removes infections. It would also remove any gut microbiome, so steve's not gonna have a great time on the toilet after drinking that red juice.
Slimeballs can also be created when pandas sneeze, meaning not only are slimes full of scum and likely acid, but they also seem to have a similar composition to snot.

-Creeper: Marijuana, used coffee grounds and black powder. Eating it does not give you the effects of the first two, sadly.
-Enderman: Unseasoned, stale chicharrones because they can’t touch water.
-Endermite: Battery acid fruit gusher.
-Shulker: Some sort of shellfish like oysters or clams. Can be eaten raw or cooked.
-Slime: Completely flavorless, the texture is like molasses.
-Magma cube: Molten rock.
-Blaze: That strong ass Korean chili paste that could knock out a whole herd of cattle.
-Any nether pigs: Spicy pork.
-Ghast: Water vapor.
-Phantom: Lobster.
-Both guardians: Salty pennies.
-Sniffer: Mutton, venison or some other gamy meat.
-Glow squid: Same as a normal squid, but it makes your belly glow for several days after eating it.
-Strider: The world’s driest potatoes.
-Wither: Coal and soot.
-Ender Dragon: Gator meat that was left in the microwave for too long.

I've always interpreted the Blazes as being like some kind of twisted golden golem that burns with hatred, and that's why it sounds like it's breathing through some kind of metal structure and the hitting noises are just clanking.
As for ghasts, the fact that their heads have a hole in the bottom where the tentacles come out implies they're not cephalopods, but rather a cnidarian-esc creature like a jellyfish.
Make of that information what you will, but I'd rather not put a large, scorching-hot metal rod into my mouth, or a jellyfish 10 times my size-
>I'd rather not put a large, scorching-hot metal rod into my mouth

@@Apowo16coward
I am inclined to agree with you about the blazes. When it comes to the ghasts, however, Minecraft Dungeons showcases baby versions of both ghasts and glow squids, and they share a model, so I am inclined to read them as cephalopods. That said, a model that low res leaves so much room for interpretation we'll probably never know for sure.
@@liamcardozo2068 Though that is a very good observation, and one that also threw me off, I am still inclined to believe ghasts are jellyfish, as the babies actually highly resemble immortal jellyfish with the glowing orb inside of their translucent bells.
Of course, a point could be made in either direction, so feel free to make your own counterpoint if you wish.
Also, one other thing, specifically in regard to endermites.
If you subscribe to the idea that ender pearls are an organ in the endermen's bodies, then endermites are an endoparasite of endermen.
I'm sure you can guess how good an idea it would be to ingest a parasite adapted to live inside another creature.

Someone’s been watching Dungeon Meshi 👀 but genuinely, let’s headcanon some. enderman bone broth as a base, the bones completely dissolve into the broth because of the hydrophobic nature of ender physiology. Strain it with a cheesecloth to get any residual clumps out, got a nice dark purple broth with a deep, rich, umami flavor that can be likened to tonkotsu. Next we crack open the shulkers to get at the meat inside, we rinse them to get rid of any sand or dirt or leftover shulker pellet “seeds” (you can touch them but if you eat them you levitate for a fraction of a second and it’s just enough to make you nauseous with vertigo). Then we fry them in butter and garlic and season to taste with kosher salt, black pepper, cayenne and lemon. Like oysters. Next we can use wheat and eggs to make noodles. Ramen or udon to your taste. To finish our enderman tonkotsu we can grill up some hoglin chops after slicing them very fine. A punch made from grinding glistening melons and some radishes pickled in diluted slime juice round our garnishes and drink. Ooo and some glow squid narutomaki that the whirl glows. And nether warts can replace enoki mushrooms. There ya go. The creeper will likely taste like gunpowder and catnip, since they are probably related to it because why would they need to fear cats.
Endermans in minecraft dungeons combust when they die, so you would probably not be able to eat it. Though if you could, it would probably taste like acid. It is morally right to eat one, since their goal is to destroy all dimensions.
Endermites would probably taste like acid and mites.
Slimes likely taste like acid and cave water, and if they spawn in a swamp then acid and swamp water.
Phantoms are wierd, and I have no clue either lol.
Guardians probably taste like magical gemstones and electronic parts. Maybe the fish and sponge they drop count?
Ravager probably tastes like a person but wrong. Also would probably be a little tough.
The Sniffer would probably taste like beef, but also probably not that tough since they don't seem that strong.
Blazes are lava.
Magma Cubes are lava.
A Piglin probably tastes like a combination of pig and human.
Ghasts probably feed of heat energy, so not much.
Striders are a like mammels, but without heat control and milk. They probably taste a little like fungus.
Shulkers are golems, so if the body it's endstone, and if it's the shell for some reason, it would taste like popped chorus fruit.
Wardens are just a hunting mechanism of the sculk, and sculk is a fungus. It would probably taste like rotten flesh and souls.
The Ender Dragon can not be eaten, since it just combusts. But if you did, it would probably taste like healing magic and acid. The egg would taste like acid too.
Anyone have questions?
Uh hi yea, how do you know what mites taste like?!
@@nathaliefernandez6431 :)
People taste like pork anyway, so Pigmen just taste like pig. Or human. Either works, really.
12:34 actually because she’s flying her meat would be gamey, just like how you don’t eat the back on dear. Sedentary animals are easier to get tender meat from, that’s why pigs and cows end up fat because we want tender beef and pork. The ender dragon would taste like gamey chicken, like biting into dry turkey. I’d suggest using a glaze or gravy with a side of vegetables all seasoned with the zest of chorus fruit.

Striders appear to be some kind of fire equivalent to an amphibian, with the stony bits just being cooled magma that got stuck to their legs. Therefore, you may be on to something with the frog/alligator meat comparison!
3:29 well, there is a theory, that endermans are humans, who changed due to eating only chorus fruit and being stuck in the end, so they will taste something like hoomans.... *AND I ALREADY KNOW WHAT THEY TASTE LIKE >:D*
4:13 their eyes probably would be fun to eat, because they don't dissolve in water(assuming that epearls are their eyes), maybe they will contain some eyeball juice?

I argue that Guardians must have some meat.
When you kill one, they drop fishes.
Also, just because it's old doesn't stop people from eating hundred years old eggs.
Hundred year old egg is a misnomer actually. It’s is just their name because they look like they could be 100 years old when actually they’re only a little over a month old
As a chef and former butcher. Heres my general Idea.
Creeper: Some sort of vegetable, something soft as it explodes easily. Id say akin to brusselsprouts as its said in the lore(needs a source, dunno where its said) as its said they explode to spread spores.
Enderman: Id think they would have more of a shell than anything. They must have some sort of water soluable skin. Id think maybe some sort of like, tough cut of beef mixed with star anise.
Endermites: Bugs. Simply a crunchy exoskeleton and creamy inside.
Slime: **the goop...**
Phantoms: As they are a flying creature, Id assume they would be similar to some sort of, rotten water foul, Id say rotten as they burn in daylight as zombies do. If not, a mix of bat or water foul.
Elder Guardian: As its old the meat would be tough and chewy, and its similar in appearance to, well pufferfish, so I think itd taste like, tough chewy fugu.
Ravager: Because of its dark skin and high health, it reminds me of a rhino or some sort of elephant. So, thats my guess to what its taste is.
Sniffer: With that sort of, beak like appendage, and the moss on its back, and with the fact it lays eggs, I think it would taste similar to a cross between beef and turtle meat.
Blaze: **spicy...**
Magma Cube: Most of it would be inedible. Even the magma cream. as its made with slime and blaze powder.
Piglin: Extra porky human flesh, because human tastes like pork from what I've heard.
Ghast: Something in-between squid and jellyfish texture wise, with the fact they fly in such a hot biome, they must have some sort of, organic hot air balloon.
Strider: They are able to be sat on, their head no less, so Including the fact they can go through lava, they would be some sort of, ultra tough reptillian/amphibian meat.
Warden: Because they're apparently corrupted axolotls (that's the theory, dont believe me, look at the photo negative of a warden and compare it to the minecraft axolotl). Itd probably be a very soft, very, mossy or maybe even rotten axolotl.
Dragon: Aligator, but would have some sort of poison in it. That would need to be removed. Also might be tough.
This is the real reason Jean is the last dragon
I think it's safe to assume that blazes are made of some kind of metal, given the sounds they make. Biting into a blaze rod would be like biting into a metal pole.

Yes. But trapped souls.
With the Ender Dragon literally being the final boss of Ender mobs it would probably inflict some horrific datura esque psychological episode
I need someone to go full Dungeon Meshi on all of the Minecraft Mobs. Even the ones you really shouldn't eat
I liked the idea so I wrote up a bit for the Creeper
Creeper - The first and most important thing you need to do before preparing a Creeper corpse for cooking is defusing and then removing the bomb. Fantasy minecraft chefs have to be specially trained on this process and are given a certification to show potential jobs that they are trained to perform this task. Kinda like fugu chefs in the real world! The outer layer is comparable in texture and mouth feel to the outer layers of an onion. The "meat" is not actually meat at all! It is actually a form of mushroom, and the Creepers developed their explosive abilities as a way to spread their spores and reproduce. These spores are very common, and lie dormant until they are subjected to dark environments for long enough to sprout new Creepers. They target players due to learning that they have the largest wander radius of any other mob. If a player survives the explosion they will be coated in microscopic spores that will slowly shed off of the player abd spread the colony whereverthey go. And if the player dies, it can be counted on for a player to retrieve the spore ridden items the player leaves behind. If not, new Creepers will sprout regardless and they can attempt the process all over again. For eating the meat itself with drumsticks or breasts it is usually removed, but for stews/soups you can cook the skin in the broth to dissolve it and add flavor/nutrients. The amount of edible meat on a single Creeper would actually be very small as a large chunk of their anatomy is dedicated to the storage and ignition of the tnt. A lot of the meat surrounding the block is infused with gunpowder, and this spreads if the Creeper was preparing to explode before it died(which is usually the case if it was killed with a melee weapon. The meat is, once again, not meat at all. It is very homogeneous in texture, and it has a naturally smoky taste. It works nicely in making broth as it practically melts when in hot water for long periods of time.
I would love to play a mod like that
I really love how your character renders are so expressive even by just being simple PNGs
Here's some April fools mobs and how I think they would taste.
Redstone Bug: Considering it is just a silverfish but red, it would probably be similar to the endermite, it's taste would be based on how you prepare them. But my main concern is where they come from. They come from redstone wires rarely when they increase in charge, and redstone glows when you touch it inside its ore. I'm not sure about you, but I would not eat something that came from a glowing red rock that can be used as electricity. That would probably shock you, and give you radiation.
Toxifin Slab: Based on appearance alone, we can judge that the Toxifin Slab is most likely made of potato, that sounds good, but then you consider what it drops. All of the items it drops upon death have toxic in the name. I have a slight suspicion that you wouldn't want to eat something that's toxic, it is a Resin though, if that makes anything better. If you were to just cut off the potato part though, you would probably be fine. You would probably get a pretty good chunk of potato from him as well.
Pink Wither: Unlike his normal counterpart, this guy is summoned with pink wool, and a flowerpot containing a rose, so this thing is most likely not a spirit. Feeding it sugar apparently gives it more heads, so we can assume the head is made of, well, sugar. He seems to look the same for the rest of the body, so he's honestly safe to eat most likely. Just pure sugar. Wouldn't be healthy, but you wouldn't die from it.

Dungeon meshi is everywhere.. damn everywhere.
12:20 whoa no no no, not tender, moving all the time. No breaks. Tough to the max, those muscles are getting worked 24/7. I’d recommend a slow roast, like brisket, but even for the most tender cuts, just because of how tough it’d be.
This video reminds me of that new anime delicious in dungeon which talks about eating monsters alot and i feel like the way u went about eating some of the mobs could have been more optimistic like if you clean the slimes and grind up the ender bones and marrow you could probably combine them to make some tasty jellow that might make u teleport or somthing
Striders are literally just lava fish with boots. The things sticking out from the side of their blocky body/heads are barbels
i thought it was old man hair
So I'm assuming they'd taste like some kinda fish Jerky. Maybe Salmon jerky?
I interpret them as some kind of fucked-up mutant axolotls that evolved to live in lava
Imagine cooking up some Enderman meat, then once you put it in your mouth it just disappears and you hear it fall on the ground behind you.
As a person who ate a Zombie once, I can confirm you will never want to stop eating flesh again, would recommend 10/10 anytime
human... I will make you regret ever wondering such a monstrous thing...
My headcanon for ravagers is that you probably shouldn’t eat them. You don’t find them in the wild and they have villager faces. Probably made by dark magic and dark magic is nothing you should be putting into your digestive system.
Edit: as for creepers, I imagine them to be entirely plant based organisms. Thus their “meat” might taste like veggie burgers.
Edit 2: as somebody else mentioned, blaze powder and magma cream are likely edible due to being used in potions. So here are my headcanoned tastes
Blaze powder: Carolina reaper hot pepper mixed with a noticeable taste of old pennies.
Magma cream: sunscreen mixed with room temperature but still molten rock.
Edit 3: since Breezes from the new update are probably in the same family as blazes I’ll theorize about their taste despite them not having a powder.
Breeze powder: wind chilled metal that blows around in your mouth with or without you breathing. Likely very dangerous to inhale as they would blow around in your lungs and cause bleeding or a collapsed lung.

"It's gonna taste a little... gun powdery.."
*Balls Clover Undertale Yellow turning their head in interest*
Also to point out skulk is mold like, and the warden is a bulky skeleton covered in skulk so uhhh
what if endermen taste like chorus fruit licorice? it's the only source of food in their home dimension, so that could be something. and since endermen have no water at all to them, it being dry, chewy licorice makes sense.
*Now this is content.*
Real
if there is ever a skeletal out of context video there will be SO many clips from this video omg
0:09 your drawn character sure looks like they would eat a ghast
I always thought of the rocky stuff on striders as a natural sort of scab tissue, so they can lava walk
3:22 it’s cannibalism because endermen really are just distorted people
I agree with you on most of these, except the magma cube, which is full of delicious cream we can definitely eat, because we put it in fire resistance potions.

The Warden probably tastes like bone marrow and souls, because sculk itself is made of souls.
edit: nevermind they taste like raisins apparently, that is strangely fitting tbh
"Thousands found dead in their homes all across the world. Usually, this would not be considered out of the ordinary, except for one detail - they all appear to have been viewing the same RUclips video upon death. More at 6 o'clock."
9:54 i think that's basalt from them walking on lava constantly.
bro went full delicious in dungeons.
Dungeon meshi aah video title
9:57 my interpretation of the strider is that it is probably partially related to ghasts. This enables it to float on the lava just enough to walk on it. However, they eat warped fungus, which comes from a biome ENDERMEN primarily inhabit. So it probably tastes like (censor)ed-up crimson fungus, which is related to nether wart. Also, good luck getting through the hardened lava and fireproof hide…

Dungeon meshi has infected me to be so curious now. Thank you for the video king🙏🏽🙌

Creepers originated when Notch was trying to make a pig and accidentally had the main body rotated the wrong way, then decided to turn that into a hostile mob with a retexture after fixing it
1:04 S A M E .
Creepers came from a model programming typo, not a texture glitch.
And i imagine that creepers are some plant that explodes to spread its seeds. Like a really aggressive dandelion puff.
Also Endermen are people.
Laios!? Is that you!?
Creeper: tastes like dry leafs and sticks bit of gunpowder
Shulker: tastes like clam

8:02 Spyro vegan confirmed
I don't get how this human is daring to try to eat us... but won't even go for the most unexpected mob...
Human meat doesnt count
I always thought of Ghasts like Ghosts considering there's only a one letter difference between the two, so I would've personally grouped them with the allays and vexes
3:00 if you cook it over a fire, it will explode ._.
In my mind, the Phantom Membrane would be like a thinner version of that wax that goes around little cheese wheels. It’s not really food, but it probably isn’t actively harmful if you accidentally ingest any that something you’re eating came into contact with. I say use a Phantom Membrane as a disposable cling-film to cover real food in for later, since you don’t exactly have access to plastic wrap in Minecraft.
Delicious in Dungeon: Minecraft Edition
According to MatPat, Endermen are humans who fled to The End and mutated due to the climate and diet of The End, consisting solely of chorus plants and shulkers (which is why they hate when players look into their eyes, since they recognize that they used to look just like them). So, in my headcanon, eating an Enderman would have the same effect as eating a chorus fruit - teleporting you to a random nearby location
1:19 BOOM BOOM BOOM
I think experience orbs would be kinda brittle and similar to ice in like texture and stuff, where it requires a little force but then breaks apart, and inside there would be like a sandy version of it, and it all tastes rejuvenating like solid energy.
