I usually only watch WWE from the Rumble to Wrestlemania but this year I decided to watch all year, just to see what I was missing...terrible decision on my part.
well at least she is a good heel..... not really that talented in the ring and not deserving of such a long title reign but she was a good heel after aj was gone but wwe should have but the title on a heel banks
+Marcus “DeadPunisherCZ” Punisher I hated that. Felt like oh AJ's married to Punk? Let's let Nikki Bella take that crown away because we want to rid anything that has to do with Punk from the company. That's the way I saw it. Couldn't stand it tbh.
+jared England Oh thank you. I'm glad I wasn't the only one who thought turning Naomi heel, teaming her up with a charisma vacuum in Tamina Snuka (even if she is family) and then feeding her to the Bellas was just a dumb idea.
For me, it's constantly having Roman Reigns pushed as the top guy. Despite the fans being generally lukewarm to him at best, or outright booing him at worst (Like in the RR).
+Damon Hopkins Reigns has to be repackaged. He was with The Shield for almost 3 years. He NEVER smiled. He BARELY spoke. Now he comes out in Shield gear, Shield music, Shield entrance and he smiles like the God damn Joker and makes insults like he's on an elementary school playground. It's asinine. Fuck that shit. And fuck him.
I agree with you, I dont think he's ready, WWE is just shoving him down our throats, he doesn't know many moves so his matches are boring to watch, he smiles too much, his jokes are really lame, there's a lot to say but I'll leave it at those
Great video, you hit all the points of what made this a bad year for WWE. One thing I would add is the lack of Set Design when it comes to the PPVs. With the exception of WM and maybe TLC(I didn't watch it this year but usually they sprinkle props around the arena) they all use the RAW stage but with different graphics. Doesn't make them feel special at all. I get that the company is trying to save money here and there but they already built a lot of these sets from previous years, just bring them back. Battleground would look a lot cooler if there were tanks and military vehicles on stage rather than the lame ribbon led board. End rant. Loving the channel, btw.
ShaunLovesAnimating He covered the RR so I figured it was included. As much as I don't like Eva, she has nuclear heat and its paid off in her match with Bayley.
+TheGohanSkywalker Then a few months later Daniel Bryan retired. Then A few weeks Later, Bray Wyatt, Luke Harper, King Barrett and Neville would all get Injured. But Cesaro's return made up for it, And the same With Zack Ryder winning the IC Title at 'Mania 32.
Unrelated but you mentioning Sting reminds me of his promo before he challenged Rollins for the Wwe Title. The one where he basically spent 10 minutes putting Triple H over for some reason. 'Triple H jumped me, low blowed me, hit me with a sledgehammer, and made my entrance look like the Great Muta's. But he at least had the decency to shake my hand after he buried me. And he's ten times the man that you are Rollins'. And then Rollins lost to Cena like 2 times in the same week, once was at a ppv. For some reason.
That's the reason I call Roman John Cena Jr. I know it might not be fair, but there are so many similarities that I can't seem to stop calling him that.
I don't know why this channel as not got more mainstream. Brian has some pretty good views and saying what the fans are thinking about the content that's in wrestling today.
Lets see, Ryback's run as Intercontinental Champion was pure crap same can be said for the Prime Time Players as Tag Team Champions..Natalya totally buried by the Divas Revolution, Charlotte doing all her Dads in ring gimmicks (ugh cringe worthy), no Damian Sandow sightings since he split from Miz as Mizdow and even yes Tough Enough. That was such a fixed show.
GabeReal9009 Yep. i think more wrestlers should take a page from Christian's book by just quitting and making names for themselves in other promotions.
dude guy Oh yea, most def. Look at Drew Galloway, Tyrus and EC3 all former WWE products who blew up in TNA. Alberto Del Rio when he's Alberto El Patron as well when he's in AAA and Lucha Underground too.
+theonlyearbis People cared. Also, they ran that angle by the immediate Guerrero family and not just Chavo and got their ok before doing it. Ric is under contract with WWE, there was no reason they couldn't have run this by him first.
This was a great episode, simply because you hit almost everything on the head...but it gets extra points for using my favorite part of "Fingertips" during the end credits! ^_^
I highly agree with the "everyone is in the middle" The wyatts change feuds every week , Cesar's was used poorly, wade Barrett is totally ignored in the League of Nations etc
The Divas Revolution. Apparently the WWEs version of a revolution is giving them one more segment in each show. So now there are 2 diva segments every week. Also don't forget how there's likely going to be a few injuries being nursed by various presently competing superstars. Pus stars like Brock Lesnar and certainly the Undertaker may have had unannounced injuries that did not impact the WWE per se due to their part-time schedules. Oh, and Kevin Owens fell ill. Sure he only missed a week of TV, but point in case is that he was inactive for a time due to injury or illness.
Honestly, I am a half-hair away from giving up on the WWE altogether. It's absolutely baffling how WWE STILL thinks that they know, oddly, what's 'best for business'. They don't and they endlessly insult our intelligence by thinking pro wrestling is some sort of unbreakable formula that no one but them understands.
I personally thought Rollins losing occasionally helped the character. His character is a guy who wins cheap, but as the storyline went on he started becoming an even better wrestler overall and winning matches. Triple H chose him to be "the face of the company" yet when Rollins faced guys like Ambrose or Cena, he would be afraid of losing... Idk just my thought :p
i think there are other ways to see it like on demand or dvd if they release one but the show is verry good and i have seen a few former wwe guys on there like alberto del rio and john morison
+Vanitas XIII I'm still in awe over that fight Pentagon Jr. had with Vampiro. You know they cut like 10 or 15 minutes out of that on TV. It was BRUTAL! So good.....
Sometimes I think a complete reset is needed. As in, all titles would be vacated, there would be a brand split (because there are just too many talented guys wasting away on the sidelines now), and we'd have completely new storylines and feuds. It would be difficult to pull off, but the company is headed straight into the gutter with how things are going right now.
In my opinion, the "worst of the worst" was the royal rumble match, because it is my favorite PPV, and I was very disapointed! Let's hope Royal Rumble 2016 will be A LOT better! Oh by the way, happy new year, and thanks a lot for all that you do on your channel! It is awesome!
What pisses me off more than anything this year is how they dealt with the 'Divas Revolution'; they filled the divas division with teams, yet there is no tag team title for them to contend for. They keep going on about how the divas division is just as good as the men.'s division, yet they give them one boring match in each show and only one title to contend for. If they gave them the same titles that the men have, we would get a much more rounded divas division and much more reason for the fans to invest their time in the divas.
Agree with you, this year they missed so many opportunities. I would also include Sheamus title run. They booked him like crap, I don't like him very much but he has the size and strength to dominate and be a badass that beats people up. If this Sheamus won the title at Survivor Series I would be fine. But a bland guy that didn't do nothing all year, I can't get behind as WWEhe 8 best champion. Next video, you better put New Day as the best thing this year :D
I dunno if you are aware of this because Dave & Bryan were talking about this was about the type of weight training WWE have started this past year or so. Alot of the guys you mentioned like Cesaro, Orton, Hideo & Zayn all got shoulder injuries seems very odd that all of them go down with the same injury. If you go onto their site and go back to WOL show from 8th of Decemeber and are a member you can listen to it was quite interesting.
My top Worst thing for this year would have to be how creative absolutely killed Cesaro. They took s guy with tremendous amounts of in-ring ability and charisma, and just shit all over him. The fans were ridicously behind him, but Creative just went, "Oh screw that guy, here's Roman Reigns!"
Injuries were the worst this year. 20 injuries over 19 superstars Cesaro Orton King Wade Rusev An uso Tyson Stardust Seth Rollins Rusev again Nikki (who gives a shit) Daniel Bryan Sting Rowan Goldust Darren Young Sami Zayn KENTA Alex Riley (not that any of you noticed) Sin Cara Dana Brooke
Great video as always. I'm still super upset over how they treated Damien Sandow after his split from Miz...the guy was one of the hottest faces in the company when he was Miz, and they did absolutely nothing with him.
Daniel Bryan injured and retired, Hogan being a racist and fired and banned, Dusty's and Roddy's death, Rollins injury, Sting's career ending injury and 2 losses, Orton's injury, Reigns backlash, Sheamus unnecessary money in the bank and wwe championship win, Cesaro and Kidd's injury
Thank you for including Seth Rollins' title reign. You won't believe the delusion of the people who refuse to admit that his title reign was bad. The guy lost almost every non-title match, promos were average at best, and he only had a handful of great title defense...most of which required help. He's a great wrestler, but his character sucked. And I understand the whole aspect of a cowardly heel, but the guy couldn't beat J&J security for crying out loud.
Other people injured: Tyson Kidd, Nikki Bella (worked through the injury, doing more damage in the process), King Barrett (minor, hasn't missed any time), Sin Cara (minor, probably won't miss any time), Dana (minor, hasn't missed any time).
Sting will always be a WcW legend no matter how many matches he loses in WWE. For a guy his age he can still go inside that ring. Diva's revolution : what a joke
My Top 8 Worst WWE Moments of 2015 #8: The overuse of Big Show and Kane #7: The Authority still being around #6: The Royal Rumble debacle #5: The burials of Rusev and Wade Barrett #4: The saga of Roman Reigns #3: The gross mishandling of the Divas Revolution #2: The injury epidemic #1: Sheamus - WWE World Heavyweight Champion
Vince: I got it! we will use Charlotte's dead brother in a storyline!!! Dunn: Great Idea! Right after we can cut to commercial, I have a great new "Be A Star" ready to go
WWE's mistreatment of Sandow was another lowlight in 2015-the guy got super over during his association with Miz, and when he turned babyface after turning on Miz, despite a brief ill advised liaison with Summer Rae, it looked like he was going to be a HUGE star....only for the company to do absolutely nothing with him afterwards. That Meta Powers team with Curtis Axel was painful to watch. It's hugely disappointing, because Sandow is very talented and clearly has a passion for what he does.
05:42 here is an idea to fix that...... more diva belts? here are a few ideas Diva Tag Team Championships Women's Light/Heavyweight championship bring back the Ueropeon Championship for the divas? those are just some ideas I have for belts so that they aren't all fighting over one belt
+Jake Wade Couldn't agree more, pretentious smark nonsense full of wannabe no-all's who actually know nothing, I hate that "IWC" smark garbage, think every wrestling fan is stupid except them because their on the internet lol
I wouldn't say all of these crack the top 8, but these are certainly some major gripes I had with 2015: 1. Sheamus cashing up over a Dean Ambrose heel turn 2. The mishandling of Alberto Del Rio's return/US championship reign 3. Poor booking of Brock VS Taker 4. Orton's entire angle with the Authority 5. Old washed up dudes destroying/overshadowing young talent 6. Undertaker at Survivor Series
I think the women from NXT, (and those who've recently switched over to WWE main roster), have talent. The problem is, the "creative" staff on the main show has no clue what they're doing. And they can shove the "Divas Revolution" line down everyone's throat over and over every week, but lousy matches are still being scheduled with "who gives a fuck" outcomes. In the end, they make their female talent look bad.
What I really don't get about the "Divas Revolution" is the absurd "team warfare" angle. 'Ok so we'll bring up a couple really talented NXT women and have gang warfare...' Wtf is that about? Los Boriquas vs DoA vs Nation? Sasha Banks doesn't need to be part of a stable, especially with Tamina and Naomi (dat ass tho). The other point I'd like to touch on is the mid card situation. I feel you phrased it very well by mentioning the 50/50 booking. Owens, Cesaro, Wyatt, Ambrose are the high mid card guys who you'd think are a step away from the title. That sounds great and all, but when one of them loses a week prior to say, Rusev (not to single him out, I like Rusev), then beats Ziggler (see Rusev), that doesn't quite add up to a championship contender. It's even tougher now for some of the guys like Neville, Ziggler, Stardust, Ryback even, and then what of the League of Nations guys? How about Harper/Rowan? Forget Strowman; he's awful.
You know this year was bad for wwe, when Hulk Hogan was confirmed racist, Jimmy Snuka may have been charged for murder, and Rey Mysterio accidentally killed someone in ring...and those aren't even the worst things to happen this year for wwe.
The Zigger/Rusev/Lana/Summer storyline was one of those sooo bad it's good things for me. I found it entertaining and laughed a lot though I knew it wasn't good. I guess it just reminded me of some of those not so good storylines from the Atttitude era. Also I never saw this video before, for some reason so here I am viewing it right after your new video! ha!
I agree with you, but you can made an honorable mention, Sheamus wins money in the bank. With a lot of wrestlers in the midcard begging for one oportunity, the wwe gives Sheamus another oportunity, give it to Bad News Barrett (please come back his gimmick) or even Ziggler, Sheamus was the wrong way.
I know how much everyone hated the "brand split" when it happened, but shouldn't it be revisited as a way to reduce the wear and tear on the talent now in this more frenetic, indie, high octane style of wrestling WWE has shifted to since the split ended? Can't we have separate Raw/Smackdown shows (maybe set off by a HHH/Stephanie kayfabe divorce to end the authority, with HHH manning Raw, and Stephanie at Smackdown) with one T.V. show per week, one or two house shows per week per brand, 6 "dual-card" PPV's (Wrestlemania, Royal Rumble, SummerSlam, Etc...) and 6 "single show" PPVs with each side getting three each so talent only has 9 PPVs a year instead of 12? They could also split up the writing staff, half to Raw, and half to Smackdown. With fewer wrestlers to juggle around (and the ability to work more closely with the talent since they have fewer wrestlers, like they do it in NXT) and more time (thanks to fewer PPVs to write toward) to create compelling stories to draw the fans in, plus the ability to better concentrate pushes for talent instead of these 50/50 booking situations you mentioned earlier, this could be a win/win for everyone, assuming they don't screw everything up like last time...
So what are you thoughts on Adam from what culture wrestling's booking on his second part of the invasion booking where most of the ideas were already used in WWE 12's created character chapter of the story mode
I usually only watch WWE from the Rumble to Wrestlemania but this year I decided to watch all year, just to see what I was missing...terrible decision on my part.

Would love to get your takes on GLOW, the WBF, and the XFL
WWE on Reid Flair "It's just a prank, bro..."
To be fair a revolution means a 360* change so everything ending up the same is the correct use of the term
Brian I seriously love ur channel
I want that sparkling cider in the backround
And what about all the deaths of legends counting Hogan
Love your videos
Another great video Brian!
Great video.
#8 mis-use of Sting, I agree %100!
MrDman21 he had to retire in a pointless storyline, against a dangerous wrestler, at a meaningless PPV in which he lost
Man this my favourite RUclips channel
In my opinion, the "worst of the worst" was the royal rumble match, because it is my favorite PPV, and I was very disapointed! Let's hope Royal Rumble 2016 will be A LOT better!
Oh by the way, happy new year, and thanks a lot for all that you do on your channel! It is awesome!
+Lunchbox Goes With Everything IKR. I loved the Royal Rumble because it was unpredictable, but the last few years have been so predictable.
You are so right! This is the problem. But this year it seems to me that it's hard to say who's gonna be the big winner. It could be great again...
Lunchbox Goes With Everything Yeah, I am exited about this RR! I don't know who is gonna win.
***** I don't like Bryan. I think he is overrated. :)
20 injuries over 19 superstars
Cesaro
Orton
King Wade
Rusev
An uso
Tyson
Stardust
Seth Rollins
Rusev again
Nikki (who gives a shit)
Daniel Bryan
Sting
Rowan
Goldust
Darren Young
Sami Zayn
KENTA
Alex Riley (not that any of you noticed)
Sin Cara
Dana Brooke
nice video! Tyson Kidd also got injured.
Great video as always. I'm still super upset over how they treated Damien Sandow after his split from Miz...the guy was one of the hottest faces in the company when he was Miz, and they did absolutely nothing with him.
Nailed it, I would just include honourable mentions of banned moves and wrestlers retiring and getting their contracts terminated
Daniel Bryan injured and retired, Hogan being a racist and fired and banned, Dusty's and Roddy's death, Rollins injury, Sting's career ending injury and 2 losses, Orton's injury, Reigns backlash, Sheamus unnecessary money in the bank and wwe championship win, Cesaro and Kidd's injury
good job keep up the good work
awesome fingertips at the end never thought anyone would even know about that
Thank you for including Seth Rollins' title reign.
Barrett also got injured, he dislocated his right elbow which is when he became King Barrett and started using the "Bare-Knuckle Brawler" style.
My Top 8 Worst WWE Moments of 2015
#8: The overuse of Big Show and Kane
#7: The Authority still being around
#6: The Royal Rumble debacle
#5: The burials of Rusev and Wade Barrett
#4: The saga of Roman Reigns
#3: The gross mishandling of the Divas Revolution
#2: The injury epidemic
#1: Sheamus - WWE World Heavyweight Champion
05:42 here is an idea to fix that...... more diva belts? here are a few ideas
Diva Tag Team Championships
Women's Light/Heavyweight championship
bring back the Ueropeon Championship for the divas?
those are just some ideas I have for belts so that they aren't all fighting over one belt
"It's a fish" Idk why but I died
Thank you! I keep having to tell people Rollins kept looking weak due to all his loses.
nice job Zane!
we got to see rusiev have character
ruseiv: its a fish
Hey Brian you forgot to mention wrestler deaths this year.
Not to mention Hull Coga- - - -...
You forgot byron saxton becoming a commentator on Raw AND Smackdown, he's even worse then Michael Cole.
BRIAN YOU WERE ON WHATCULTURE
+Jake Wade I personally enjoy Whatculture
+Jake Wade Hey, please respect my opinions, and I will respect yours
+Jake Wade Thank you, and I respect your opinion
+Jake Wade Couldn't agree more, pretentious smark nonsense full of wannabe no-all's who actually know nothing, I hate that "IWC" smark garbage, think every wrestling fan is stupid except them because their on the internet lol
+Jake Wade woah woah back up a bit
I wouldn't say all of these crack the top 8, but these are certainly some major gripes I had with 2015:
1. Sheamus cashing up over a Dean Ambrose heel turn
2. The mishandling of Alberto Del Rio's return/US championship reign
3. Poor booking of Brock VS Taker
4. Orton's entire angle with the Authority
5. Old washed up dudes destroying/overshadowing young talent
6. Undertaker at Survivor Series
why do people say free TV need I remind you you have to pay for TV to watch raw and smackdown
I'd say you missed Nikki Bella retaining the title for 301 days out of spite to AJ Lee and CM Punk.
THANK YOU ZANE!
Well one thing would help is if there was an offseason like you mentioned in one of your previous videos.
#5 Royal Rumble Match
#4 Lana Rusev Summer Rae Dolph Ziggler Irrelevant Storyline
#3 Divas Revolution
#2 Seth Rollins Injury
#1 Every Eva Marie match
Please, Z-Man, for the love of God...
Collab with WhatCulture some more! That was hilarious!
You know this year was bad for wwe, when Hulk Hogan was confirmed racist, Jimmy Snuka may have been charged for murder, and Rey Mysterio accidentally killed someone in ring...and those aren't even the worst things to happen this year for wwe.
markmorris1993 Rey Mysterio wasn’t with the company when that happened
The Zigger/Rusev/Lana/Summer storyline was one of those sooo bad it's good things for me. I found it entertaining and laughed a lot though I knew it wasn't good. I guess it just reminded me of some of those not so good storylines from the Atttitude era. Also I never saw this video before, for some reason so here I am viewing it right after your new video! ha!
Can you please make one on WWE Anthology? I love your show btw
What's with you and the number 8? Not complaining though all your videos are awesome!
Does Lemmy's death count? Because that must suck for HHH.
nice vid bud.
I love your videos man and I agree with your list
Alex Riley also getting injured in nxt (I know he's not a top guy)
The Divas Revolution was a huge fail. Got women NXT putting on potential match of the year just to have lame matches on Raw, Smackdown & PPV.
5 years later, we are dealing with the same shit
So what are you thoughts on
Adam from what culture wrestling's booking on his second part of the invasion booking where most of the ideas were already used in WWE 12's created character chapter of the story mode
Brian, you should do a "Top 8 Worst Finisher Names". You should judge them by how the names didn't match the move or the wrestler's gimmick.
